Chronic Low Testosterone Help

New blood tests came in showing that I was below average on free and total testosterone.

I have been out of the loop for a few months and have regrettably gotten behind on the supplement news, so three questions:

1. How long can you run a natural test booster realistically without excessive, controllable side effects or diminishing returns?

2. Which product or products offer the best ratio of effectiveness to suggested length of natural cycle?

3. Which process, (direct stimulation, control of estrogen, etc) produces the best results involving long term use?

Thank you!

Edit: I am currently highly interested in Primordial Performances topical test boosters, their products appear to have a very positive reception and so if any of you have experiences with any of those products, let me know!

eco, more importantly

1. what's your diet like?

2. are you getting adequate sleep per night?

3. how frequently do you consume alcohol?

natural test boosters can't compete with those 3.

1. Needs to be improved. I am a vegetarian but supplement accordingly. I focus heavily on dairy and whole grains, protein comes from whey supplementation, dairy, shrimp, and lightly throughout my other food consumption.

2. Erratic, which I feel is taking a large hit on testosterone production. Due to work and school, this is difficult.

3. Never have =]

The sleep aspect is my biggest concern as I have developed a bit of a problem getting enough sleep recently, the ability to fall asleep being the greatest obstacle. Melatonin has helped a bit.

Edit: To clarify this, I do manage to on average achieve between 7 and 9 hours of sleep, I just never have a consistent schedule, such as one night being in bed by midnight, versus tonight, 5:27 AM.

Chronically low? How old are you?

Chronically low usually needs pharmaceutical intervention.

Whey is a great protein for it's fast absorption after a workout, but fast absorption can actually be a disadvantage at other times of the day. Try a slower protein. Also, get a blood test to see what nutrients you are low on.

I agree with the above -- make sure all the elements are in order before going to something like a TRT script, although that may be the answer.

Add ZMA to the melatonin to aid sleep, and then try some dopamine boosters to see how they work for you.

The veggies are good, but many people at some point can't handle even "whole grains" very well (I can't). They can give BS spikes up to 3-4 hours after the meal. The "glycemic index" doesn't mean much. The BS spikes would lower natural test. BS problems are exploding in India over the last couple of decades. Carbs become a problem to people who are insulin resistant. Add strong nutrient partioners to meals with carbs and stop eating carbs for three hours before going to bed (GH release issue)'

A combination of testofen and divanil along with a good A.I. will boost rest. Testopro is a good product for about 6-8 weeks of test boost as the effects wear down. PP also has some good products in Sustain Alpha, Toco-8 and others.

Your lack of sleep could be causing poor test issues. I know it did for me at one time. Your dr. might reccomend Testosterone Injections to get your levels back up to normal. Normally it's test cypionate. It will take a couple months to get your levels where they need to be but it will get the job done with low side effects. Once your levels are normal you will get off injections. You don't have to worry about side effects because you only get the amount of test your body needs to keep you at a normal range. You still produce test naturally. It's a safe method when you have dr supervision and regular blood work.

Now 19, although blood tests done at 16, 17, two at 18, and two at 19 have shown all similar numbers.

I am thankfully not outside of the average range, but I barely graced the bottom numbers, I gotta call my doctor to get the numbers again.

I did get my nutrition blood tests done and those thankfully all came back positive. I place a HUGE emphasis on fish oil and fat in order to combat a slightly overactive metabolism.

Pharmaceutical intervention will be my last resort and even then if I only dip below average.

When he said rest at te bottom, he meant test.

Yea it'd help if ur sleep is a bit more consistent in terms of timing. Majority of hormone production and recovery is done while resting.

And with diet, make sure you're getting a lot of good fats (such as walnuts, almonds, egg yolks, olive oil , fish oil etc.) and obviously, protein. Both saturated and unsaturated need to be consumed.. just not trans fats.

As far as supplementation, Zinc would be the way to go. 25mg - 50mg a day perhaps. If you're deficient in Zinc, that cascades to testosterone taking a beating.

Cannot agree on this enough!

I switched melatonins back to what I was using and that has pretty much fixed the issue, I just gotta watch dependency.

I do take a zinc supplement and am debating ZMA again.

I had good results with T-911.

at what stage and for what reason would this chap want to be taking a natural test booster.

Also the same question for a prohormone that is known to rocket test levels?

Both questions refer to intake without excessive, controllable side effects or diminishing returns?

I do need to write down the exact numbers as I dont have them in hand but my doctor of course still does. Like I said though, they are not shockingly horrible, they just are statistically below average, therefore not prompting anywhere close to a pharmaceutical intervention.

I do consume plenty of saturated fats in that a large part of my diet revolves around cheese, milk, shrimp, and their off-shoots.

Total and free test were both low so it really came down to me having genetically lower testosterone, blood tests from my dad showing similar results.

Mr. Handyman, could you clarify that?

In the interest of pursuing muscle building, I want higher testosterone. It is one road block that I intend to remove.

so, what's your plan?
Well, it was hugely important to fix my sleep situation and that has over the course of the last week to have righted itself.

Im going to further bump up my saturated fat and cholesterol.

No vitamin/mineral deficiencies to speak of so thats not a problem as far as I can tell.

I would love to get my specific blood test numbers.

So I guess I'm back to asking about my original questions.
