Amount of water for powder supplements

So you know how every supplement says take this with 4-6 oz, 10-12 oz or whatever. Ive been taking them all with 20+ oz as a measure to increase water intake. Do you think taking a supplement with more water than the directed will affect it adversely? Specifically whey, GreenMAG, Purple Wraath and White Food.

I always just go with 8 oz of water unless it's an intra w/o supplement. Then it is 20.

It's just a preference. I always do as little water as possible that still lets it be decently mixed. I mean most supplements taste bad, so might as well drink em fast
