Kidney damage from too many supplements?

Intelligent debate only please. Thank you

Is it possible that taking too many supps can cause kidney stress and perhaps slight overload - then dysfunction?

I have had some elevated creatinine levels recently that are the subject for concern per my Doc

I take a crap-load of supps to compensate for my low carb eating.

TONS of anti-oxidants (making sure I get an adequate supply+ to cover the gamut on the different types)
    Fish oil
    Sesamax
    Calcium-Mag
    Powerfull (GH-release at night)
    Multi-vitamin/mineral
    Milk thistle
    Amino Acids/BCAA+EAA
    Potassium
    Apple Cider Vinegar
    B-complex
    Prostate-protection supp
    CissusRx
    Probiotics
    Stims pre-w/o only
(NO CREATINE - I did for 5 years straight though up to about a year ago)

Im ~40 and sitting at about 10% b.fat. I just feel like I need all of these supplements. Are they causing me problems?

While I'm not a doctor (or anything close for that matter), I can't imagine that those substances are really being that detrimental to your health.

You are certinally over doing it though in my eyes.

You should really be set with a complete multi like Orange Triad, it's got a multi, joint support, and immune support. Take the fish oil, Sesamax, and aminos. Other than that, I'm not sure why you need all of the other bloat. I'd add in an alternative protein source though, unless you're getting an adequate amount through the day.

    Milk thistle should be cycled.
Most of the multis guys on this site take already have a good amount of b-complex.
You never said if you were actually having kidney problems, but if you are, I would
    A) Get a blood test to see what nutrients you might be getting to much of.
    B) Be careful with the stims. I felt like **** when I had a bunch of Atrophex laying around that I would use as a preworkout. Even good old caffein is said to make the kidneys work a little harder.

If anything those supplements are only helping ur health... but it could possibly be from taking creatine without cycling for 5 years straight but thats only a maybe... U should get a full blood work up done to make sure but NO i do not see how any of those supplements when taken in proper dosages can be harmful to ur kidneys...

Yeah well...think how many 40 year olds take a hand full of prescription meds everyday.

I also am not a physician of any sort, but I don't see anything on your list that would cause too much concern? I don't agree personally with going overboard with too much whey and creatine, whey can tax your liver if you if you take too much everyday, and although long term creatine studies have been conducted reviewing its safety, I still cycle it.
