What can I take for Muscle Ache/Soreness?

After 4 months off of lifting due to knee surgery I have gotten cleared to work out again. For some reason I seem to have serious muscle ache and soreness. I know there are things out there I can take, but I don't know what would work best. I'm not really pushing myself very much and lifting low weights to get get my body back use to it, but the soreness is a great amount.
 
Are you doing any kind of warm-ups post workout?

You might have to just give it a couple of weeks for your body to get used to working out again, you may even be pushing it just a little more than you think too.

It's your muscles and not any joint or ligament soreness?

I stretch before working out, and then after I usually run, rollerblade, or walk the dog....I mean I'm only benching between 95-115 15 times.....and curls of only 20lbs 15 times...that sort of thing...when I use to do between 185-225 as my warm up....so the weight is very low and my work outs aren't that long. And it is definitely my muscles that ache.
