people have this mistaken notiong that ephedrine has been "banned". it hasn't.
ephedra in dietary supplements has been banned (and soon to go into effect).
ephedrine hydrochloride, ephedrine sulfate, etc. will remain over the counter drugs, and readily available. imo, ephedrine is a better choice than ephedra anyways. it is pharma grade, and you know exactly how many milligrams you are getting.
while i totally disagree with the decision to ban ephedra as a dietary supplement, it will have no practical effect on a knowledgeable consumer. ephedrine remains cheap and legal to possess and consume.
