Dextrose

What Do you guys mix your dextrose with and how much do you take. I was thinking or just throwing it in my post wo whey shake, but am i suppose to take it with a carb source?
How about Dextrose, oats and whey protein.

Dextrose IS a carb source. Throw it in your whey protein.
