i heard that is new kind of creatine HCL is more absorebent which i believe, but i also heard that it does not retain water in your muscles or at least not as much as mh.
monohydrate for the win. cheap, proven, effective. as for your question im sure the product manufacturer has a recommendation it may be on the label or their individual website.
