Vitamins B6 and B12, as well as folate, which is also known as vitamin B9, enhance the memory, but also seem to improve the other mental processes, such as verbal ability. According to the studies that have been conducted by scientists, the best results are seen in women aged 20 to 92 years.

The improve memory vitamin supplements based on complex B vitamins reduce the stress by controlling GABA and serotonin neutransmiters. These are tightly connected to the stress levels, as well as the restlessness and depression. As it is known, depression represents the most frequent cause of memory loss. The improve memory vitamin supplements that include vitamins from the B complex are also able to help people avoid stroke, by preventing certain heart diseases.

A deficit of vitamin B12 leads to anemia or to various problems of the nervous system. This vitamin is not capable of treating dementia. However, when used on patients who suffer from this disease, the symptoms seem to improve significantly. Anemia can also be caused by a deficit of vitamin B9. In order to prevent the potential neural disorders of the fetus, pregnant women are advised to take improve memory vitamin supplements based on vitamin B9.

Vitamins C and E, which can also be found in the composition of improve memory vitamin supplements, are known as antioxidants. A good B-complex is great. Try and make sure to pick forms that are already active.

  8. First post! Silent Bob is very right in suggesting lecithin, which helps maintain the bonds between nerve cells in the brain. When combined with DHA, one of the main components of fish oil, memory can be further preserved against age related cognitive decline. The two together are great at any age though.

Any supplement which increases blood flow to the brain is also useful, such as ginkgo, caffeine, guarana, etc. These will aid with focus additionally.
