Egg Protien anyone?
Im thinking about buying some egg protien powder. I want to try it because "they" say it has the highest bioavialability than any other protein.
But then again I read an ad in a magazine, and MuscleTech said that theory is false and nothing is superior to . And we all know everything mentioned in a MuscleTech ad is true.
Any reccomendations? When to dose? I heard mornings is good.

If those ads in magazines did a quarter of what they say they do, I would be competing right now. I would say check out the price to risk ratio. If its cheap and you got the cash then why not? Right?

its naturally high in cholesterol, which is one of the building blocks of testosterone - testosterone was actually synthesized from a cholesterol molecule. if you're not getting eggs in your diet, then its a very worthwhile addition to your arsenal.

Muscle Tech says a lot of crazy stuff to sell their over priced products. I've heard about the egg having the best bioavialability too. One perk that you can't deny is the 0 cholesteral and 0 fat in the egg powder.
I've used Healthy'N Fit Nutritionals :

egg sort of has the highest bioavailability out of 24g of egg protein ingested you will get a larger % of that as usable than with other proteins. Eat 50g of egg protein and 50g of casein and the reverse is true.

But get ready for the sulphuric G A S! My wife threw it out because I cleared out the house with my gas. I do add 10-15% to my TrueProtein blend which is mostly CMDI

I have not tried a straight egg powder, but currently I'm using MusclePharm's Assault which is a blend and has egg protein in it. Who knows actually how much though. I would say from what i've read, straight egg protein typically does not taste good and definately not the same taste as whey.
