Xtend & insulin

Would Xtend cause any rise in insulin? I'm doing fasted cardio soon, and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should take my Dialene4x and some Yohimbine along with it.

i dont think so. its like 10-20 calories a serving. your mixing it with water correct? even at 2 servings thats not high enough to cause an insulin spike.

the dialene and yohim sounds like a good idea just in general; not b/c of anything xtend related.

Yeah, I just searched some outside sources and it seems that it gives really no insulin spike. Thanks for the clarification

Yeah, I was quite humbled by the power of dialene. I always took a good amount of yohimbine before and it didn't do a whole lot, so I considered myself to have a pretty high stim tolerance. I took two dialene in addition to 5 yohimbine caps and I'm still a bit jittery even after 30 mins of steady cardio.

No considerable raise in insulin from extend. Also, when fasting (not sure how long you're in the fasted state), cortisol can rise. Extra aminos in the bloodstream will keep cortisol from causing an overly catabolic state.

Yeah, I fear I won't be able to do fasted cardio anymore. Drinking this Xtend is a bit sweet and I feel like I'm going to throw up while I run. FC isn't worth the muscle-loss of not drinking Xtend while you run, so I'm going to do away with it. I've always liked HIIT more, anyhow.

You could always cut the dose in half and use more water. There are other options out there, too. Purple Wrath, ect. I think AX just came out with an amino product too.

It's not really a big deal. The thought of fasted cardio wasting muscle in the first place is enough to scare me away from it, considering I'm an ecto and muscle is hard to come by. Fat loss, however, is not.

2 out of the three BCAA's are gluconeogenic (l-isoleucine, l-valine)...because of this some say that taking BCAA's b4 cardio is counterproductive...but i think ur fine even though some of these can be used as glucose to fuel muscles i dont think it will make that much of a difference...
