what are some very good supplements to detox the liver. I know of milk thistle but i thought that was more of a protectant. I didnt know if there were any detox liver kits that were known to work. I know some are worthless so i was just seeing what everyone's opinion is of any that are good.

Thanks

not on a cycle. Just trying to get rid of all the toxins in my body. Skin isnt clear and gets blotchy red and i think it has to do with sluggish liver. SO any products or good cleansing diets to go on or what?

Milk thistle is good. I take that and an herbal blend that includes: [Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) (root), Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) (seed), Burdock (Arctium lappa) (root), Artichoke (Cynnara scolymus), Kelp].

I also take C, E, and L-Lyseine for antioxidant, immune, circulation, etc...

Look into Cycle support. Its great for overall health even when your not on cycle :)

Also look into Poseidon, that'll help in overall health. Better yet look into the Rejuvenation Stack that NutraPlanet offer :) hope that helps.

I have felt great after running Liv 52 and drinking organic apple cider vinegar.

Dandelion root is great. If you want one of the best overall clensers I've found, lookup "christophers liver and gallbladder formula". Hands down the best. It has barberry bark, wild yam root, cramp bark, fennel seed, ginger root, catnip herb, and peppermint leaf. Good stuff.

Cycle Support has been mentioned, which is a great product, but it might be advisable to go for the version w/o the red yeast rice. Although I don't know how toxic to the liver red yeast rice is, I've read in more than a few places that it places *some* strain on the organ. That would be my only hesistation.
