Bro's, How important is it to take BCAA's or EAA's?????

Sup fella's, just wondering how important it really is to be taking BCAA's? I train hard, sleep good, eat well, and am taking some supplements currently (Diesel Test Hardore and DCP/LR along with Creatine) But never have, in my past 10 years of seriously lifting ever taken any BCAA supplement. Just wanted to get some feedback if I need to look into one or not worry about it???...FLU

Honestly, I don't take them. I never noticed any difference when I was taking xtend or PW and when I wasn't.

taking bcaa during a workout, will help with recovery a bunch.

just by a 20 dollar tub of xtend and youll be convinced.

Since if first tried it, i havent gone without it. For nearly 3 years or more.

I just started taking Xtend nearly 2 months ago...and I can't train without it. Constantly having that flow of amino acids going to your muscles throughout your workout and all day long is beneficial for repair and recovery. I sip on the stuff all day long.

I especially find BCAA's to help when adding cardio into the mix, for instance after your strength training. This aids the body in not hitting a catabolic state, or for using up nitrogen stores for energy.

Personal proof (subjective here) was I noticed that during my longer cardio sessions, while sipping on Xtend, I was not getting that "amonia" stench you may sometimes encounter when enduring cardio for too long (especially while on cuts/empty stomach cardio/post weights). This is the main indicator of a negative protein balance...meaning using protein/muscle for energy...hence catabolism. While sipping on Xtend during my workouts and then during cardio, this has not once happened to me, no matter at what intensity.

I am a firm believer in BCAA's...and apparently Arnold and all the guys used to use them...and I think they looked alright...lol.

Everything is worth a shot, and for 20 bucks...you can't go wrong! If anything you will get something that tastes REALLY good to drink all day, lol. Good luck with your training and gains!

I've noticed a little less DOMS when I use them. I think they are quite beneficial if one lifts in the morning, as your muscles are depleted and there has been no flow of aminos via dietary protein. I also think using BCAA's is great if you're going for a long, extensive workout with lots of cardio, etc.
all that being said, I'm still not even a true believer in their iron-pumping merit.

My stomahc gets funny when i used to drink Xtend, but never not during a WO. I liked it, but never noticed much change. I just drank it telling myself it may have been working but i couldnt tell, haha.

I do wanna try EAAs sometime soon though.

theres no way for it to increase pumps or energy in the sense caffeine would. For it to "pump" you thats liek saying eating chicken preWO would give you more than usual pumps.

really? well to each his own i guess. You should try Glycerol Mono Sterate and i bet youd change your mind. Cit. Malate is a great endurance "increaser" after about 1-2 weeks of 3g a day. I never felt much pump off it other than my normal so i added in Argingine at the time.

I have used BCAA/Xtend for years and it is the only supplement I use year-round. It is even more important when cutting (I use 30g/day when I am cutting to stay anabolic).
