Pills in your post workout shaker!

I use a waxy maize starch along with an essential amino acid blend postworkout and was wondering if pills like multivitamin (more like a solid pill), alpha lipoic acid (capsule with powder inside), etc. slow down the gastric emptying?

or is it ok to take it all together right after the last rep?

The only thing that I know of that poses a problem to certain nutrient uptake is Calcium....

But other than that, i'm not familiar with anything else having that effect.

What kind of multi are you taking?

It would make the shake taste nasty, depending on what vitamins you've got in there (especially B vitamins). Put them in a little baggy and just swallow the buggers. But no real absorption problems.

Yeah it totally would ruin the taste. Easier to pop them

You should take your multivitamin with a solid food meal, not a shake.

take your multi with a full meal that has a higher fat content than others. otherwise you are losing a lot of the benefits.

I agree with all of the above. Take your shake, then your multi with your next meal
