5-HTP & CoQ10

  1. 5-HTP & CoQ10


    I have done a search on AM and nothing came up for either. my question is what are the benifits and sides of these two and what are the reccommended dosages for each.


  2. I take 150mg of coQ a day and think its a staple antioxidant along with alpha lipoic acid.It also helps the body make energy from food, or something to that nature. 5HTP will help with mood and well being more than anything else, I believe it is a precursor to serotonin.

    COQ I take 100mg in the morning and 50mg at night. 5HTP will make you sleepy, so def take it before bed...with or without food, doesnt matter with either of these.

  5. I'm currently taking 3mg melatonin and 100mg 5-htp 30 mins before bed as part of my "maybe this will help my seasonal depression" stack. It's working wonders thus far!
