my cousin gave me his whey tub, said he used it once or twice, and i noticed the "best used by" date is 04/07!!! should i even consider using this or just toss it out?

I would try it out on a day that you do not have to go out. If nothing goes wrong, mix it with your current protein shake. Thats my take.
