You do not necessarily have to wait to take 3 per day. We recommend it though.

As far as the product working, search around a little bit to get some idea's of how it works for other people. But, the only one that can say if it works for you, is you. Many people swear by AP (myself included) and some are non-responders(sometimes self inflicted, haha).
