amino acid dosing

I did some poking around the internet and here and came up blank. Does anyone know of or can point me to a book or webpage where amino acid dosing can be figured out? What I mean by that is, 1 gram per 10 pounds of body weight or similar. I have been taking powder aminos and have been winging it. It makes more sense to me if there was some sort of a standard to work off of.

Are you taking BCAA's? Most around here recommend around 20g/day of bulk BCAA's.

Yeah, I do. But I have also been taking Glutamine,Carnatine, Arginine.

20 grams of BCAA, you say that is what most would recommend, huh?

is there a better way to mix nutraplanet bulk bcaa, i can down most nasty supplement tastes...but this stuff taste like battery acid, and i tried putting it in some gatorade, you can still taste it very strongly, and it foams to the top...is Xtend my only option???

You could always look into Core Nutritionals ABC. You get a megadose of BCAA's as well as some other goodies at less than a $1 per serving. Camt go wrong and it mixes perfectly. If bulk is the only option you can try mixing them and letting them sit in the fridge a bit.

I have found this dosing works wonders.

5 grams upon waking

10 grams sipped during training

5 grams before bed

You could also add some additonal BCAA or Leucine to your pwo shake.
