    Uh, I'm pretty sure malic acid stimulates glycolysis, not blocks it.

    Also, Leucine isn't even glucogenic.

    Malic acid promotes ATP production which blocks upstream glycolysis

    That said, esterifcation cannot save bcaas from their usual metabolic fate
