    The log no one read!! ap/igf-2/neovar/rpn


    So I have decided after reading force of nature's recent log to do a log of my own. Reading his log really inspired me to lose some weight and I feel if I log it, even if no one reads it, it will hold me accountable. I would not say that I have let myself go, I just have a hard time loosing the fat and staying motivated. It sooo easy to bulk haha.

    Here's a little bit about myself: I am 6 feet tall and currently about 230lbs and I would assume I am at 14% body fat. I have been lifting seriously for about four years and have run three cycles in my time. I have run a four week cycle of epi, a four week phera cycle, and the last one I ran was a phera/mdrol bridge cycle. I have just started DC training and love it (I wll post my routine in the next post). I am not sure how cutting and doing DC will mix, but we shall find out.

    I will be taking Anabolic Pump, IGF-2, neovar recomped and on workout days RPN. I have tried RPN before and loved it. I plan on taking AP three times a day, 8 caps of IGF-2, 6caps of Neovar and 4 RPN preworkout.

    I am going to stick to a diet to the best of my ability. I have not yet decided on breakdown yet, but I will post it once I have gotten everything together. Most of my carbs will be taken in pre and post workout.

    I am really excited to run this cycle and will be as detailed as I can be. Any imput or help will be greatly appreciated. Even though I have not really posted awhole lot on the boards I have been an avid reader. I would like to that FOG for his detailed thread!! It got me so pumped up to do something for myself.

    I will post pics soon too. They will be crappy considered I dont have a digital camera and no one to takem. Theyll be the old cell phone in the mirror thing.

    Supps; Fish Oil, Whey, and Nutraplanet mass pump stack. I think I may even throw in some lipotrophin by AN as well. We shall see how my money situation is.

    nice thus far! Good luck on your weight loss. Let me know if you have any questions at all over any of the AppNut products you will be taking. You have a great regiment for weight loss on hand. Question though, do you mean RPM by Appnut when you state RPN? Good luck man im here if you have any questions. Drive is a great product for leaning out as well if you are trying to loose fat. The AP and neovar combo alone will be very effective. good luck

    hey thanks guys!! Got a lot of respect for ya Texas..reading all your logs!...and yes I did mean RPM....I hoping that it will give me that extra burst of energy doing DC style on a cut..and Ill have to check out your log craig..i see it now, and dont know how I missed it ealier....

    Texas let me ask you a question? I took my first Anabolic Pump pill this morning...my carb sources were to pieces of organic wheat toast? Is that enough...im reallly trying not to over do it carbwise...but know that AP works best with a lot of carbs..

    My first workout is today after work..i will post my thoughts and results and meals.

    It comes out to I believe 30g...im at work and dont have it in front of me..I also had a shake, but thats barely any carbs.

    Hm I usually take that as my minimum with neovar. I'm not too familiar with ap so I would say talk to a USP labs rep because I don't want to give false information

    I was going to use my neovar with my pre and post workout meals....is that a good idea. A staple of my prework out meal, is my homemade protein bars, which offer a lot of carbs..and then my post work out meal consists of waxy maize or a sweet potatoe. Which offers I believe enought carbs with the Neovar.......how much do you try to get with your neovar??

    First workout today! My feelings are a little skewed, b/c I woke up with an upset stomache and that didn't change all through out the day. Kinda bummed about that. I woke up weighing in at 227. I dosed 1 Ap with my first meal. Then 3 neovar and 3 IGF-2 with my second meal. Then 4Rpm for preworkout and 3 IGF-2. I then had 3 Neovar post work out with 2 AP and before bed had 3 IGF-2.

    Meals looked like this:

    Meal One:
    2 Pieces whole wheat toast
    2 scoop whey shake

    Meal Two:
    Homemade Protein Bar(runs about 50g P and 45g carbs

    Meal Three: Preworkout
    40g Maxy Waize
    2 scoop whey shake

    Meal Four Postworkout:
    2 Scoop whey with 40g maxy waize
    2 rice cakes

    Meal 5:
    Mixed Veggies
    2 cups shrimp

    As Far as my workout was concerned: I was right on Point with my DC style. I did have this weird feeling in my stomach the whole time. I did feel the effects off Rpm which I love. I ran my warm up mile the fastest I ever have.

    I dont think I have anything else to report just yet. It was the first day. And the only time I have had RPM was during a Phera Cycle...so I am looking forward to hopefully feeling the same effects with out a PH being involved.

    My Workout was as followed.

    Bench: 225lbs 8x4x2
    Weighted Pull Ups 45lbs 8x4x2
    Overhead Tricep Raise w/Dumbbell 110lbs 2 setsx10
    Standing Military Press w/barbell 145lbs 8x4x2
    Bent over Barbell Row 225lbs 2 setsx7

    I will say I think the IGF-2 help with sleep, because I slept sooooo deep last night. I was in such a weird state this morning.

    This was day two of this cycle...and a little irritated, b/c work def got in the way of my dosing. I also haven't been able to cook anything b/c a storm came through and I have been without power for two days and had to throw everything out of the fridge.
    With that said....I did wake up weighing in at the lowest I have in a long time.
    Yesteray postworkout I weighed 228
    This morning I weighted in at 222.5lbs!!

    Meals
    Meal One:
    2 pieces of toast with scoops whey
    Meal Two:
    Homemade Protein Bar
    Meal Three:
    2 cans Tuna
    Preworkout Meal
    2 scoops whey/40g WM
    Postworkout
    same as above with 2 rice cakes


    Workout
    Sitting Calf Raises on Leg Press: 190x28
    Leg Press 10 plates and 2 25lbsx7
    drop to four platesx12

    Barbell Curl 125x8x4x3
    Rev V-Bar Curl 90 10x4x3


    I did not run today b/c I forgot my shoes and my dosing was off for my RPM b/c of a surprise focus group meeting I had to attend.

    I will say that either the Neovar or Anabolic Pump makes me feel pumped when I hit that sweet spot of carbs. It feels awesome. I do ususally have to use the bathroom very soon after I take AP, but its all good.

    IGF-2 has made sleep very deep for me the past two nights. Its almost to the point where I am very out of it when I do wake up.

    I feel that at the end of my first couple of weeks I will look and feel great. Something is making me feel very with it at work and in a great mood. I am guessing its the IGF-2

    Today is an off day. And when my computer comes up I will post pics

    read thru this. AP will definitely work to your benefit on a cut/recomp. find your sweet spot and youll never wanna go without it man, unless you dont have money then you cant use it. but i consider myself pretty carb sensitive. you just need to play with your carb amounts, sources, and how long after you take AP to eat. that manual is pretty good tho.

    as for the log, im in for sure. ive been quite interested in DC style training since i came across it a few months ago. will be interesting to see it on a cut style diet. and youre gonna love drive/rpm dood. its one helluva stack. good luck man.

    Thanks for reading! With AP it just seems I get it and one day I dont. Like oats and sweet potatoes..make me feel pump to hell, but if I switch up to another form of carbs it doesn't. I am trying to get my homemade protein bars to have the perfect amount of carbs for it.

    As far as DC and cutting. I have really tried to have my first meal of the day carb heavy then the one right before my workout to be carb heavy and thats it. The rest of my meals are some form of protein(at least 50g a meal)This might not be perfect, but so far i am right on track with my lifts and even moved up in a few this week.

    Day Three: off day.

    I figure Id update my meals for the day and then I will weigh myself tomorrow again at the gym.

    Meal 1:
    apple and 2 peices of ezikeil(sp?) bread
    homemade protein bar

    Meal 2
    Caeser Salad with grilled chicken breast

    Meal 3
    2 cans of tuna
    2 rice cakes.

    **My fourth meal will be a shake since I have run out of food to eat at work and then one more meal with AP which will include sweet potatoes.


    Picks will be up tonight...they are crappy considering all I have is a cell phone and no one to take them for me. But at least it might give ppl an idea.

    make sure youre getting some fats in there too. especially going lower carb, you may want to up your fat intake a little. since ive been recomping, my split is kinda 40p 30c 30f for training days. non training days its close to no carbs. been working very well. and yeah once you find that spot for AP, theres nothing like it. truly an awesome supplement. keep messing around with it, youll find it. cheers brotha!

    Thanks man! when your on off days and you barely taking in any carbs, what are you eating with AP?? I think im getting a good amount of fats in. Plus taking upwards to 7-9g of fish oil a day

    well a few months ago when i ran it, i would only have 3 carb containing meals. i would have breakfast with about 60-80 grams, pre w/o (40 mins before) with about 60-80, then post w/o id have xtend. about an hour after w/o i would have ap meal #3 with about 40-60. then off days, i would have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with only about 30-50 grams carbs. worked well.

    Gotcha...that makes sense. On my off days im just hitting my high carbs in the morning and then tappering off big time.

    THanks for joining...I really think I amgoing to enjoy these products. I have a workout today and no work to get in my way...so looking forward to properly dosing my RPM.

    I cannot figure out how to post these pics. I have them in my photobucket account. I've tried everything.

    Today was a great day workout wise. I will say not sure about doing DC on a cut. I have been hoping RPM will help out with keeping my workouts intense but not sure. I did not make two goals during my workout, but I did get a PR on deadlifts, so Im not sure what I am going to do.

    As far as other factors go. I felt a great pump today. More so than I have in awhile. I am also noticing that i am more vascular in my arms.

    Something is increasing my appetite, which sucks, because i am trying not to eat as much. Esp at night. But thats when the hunger hits haha.

    Work out today:

    Incline Smythe 245 8x3x2(didnt meet goal)
    Lat pull down 2259x4x3(increased)
    Skullcrusher 80 10x4x2
    Smythe Military Press 195 8x3x2(did not meet goal)
    Deadlift 385x7(increased)


    So I failed on two, but didnt on others

    I will also mention that I was extremely jacked during my run b4 I lifted. I would suspect the RPM had me going. I also increased my mile time again.

    nice to have you backer! I just weighed myself and im at 226. Altho not much of a weight change. I feel better and feel that I am loosing some fat. And I am hungry. My girlfriend cooked me a great dinner with chicken and sweet potatoes after the gym. But im still hungry. Hopefully a shake and tons of water will help. The IGF-2 I think is the culprit. Which is great.

    If anyone can offer some help ill throw up my pics.

    I feel like by saying that im 14 again, on a chat room waiting for my porn pick to download. haha..you know inch by inch

    dont look at the scale for fat loss man. Fat loss and weight loss are two completely different things. Its easy to lose fat without losing weight. And for the pictures.     Austin is right. It should NEVER be about scale weight, but about body COMPOSITION. Muscle weighs MORE than fat, and therefore, if you gained muscle and lost fat, then the scales would read heavier. So, if you FEEL that you are losing fat, but the scales are NOT changing, chances are that you ARE losing it. Go more by how you LOOK, if you don't have can't get your body composition measured.

    ohh I completly agree. Its just a number at something to go by since I can't get my body fat measured until school starts. I have been on vacation and went to belle chere in Ashville NC. It kind of stunk b/c I didnt get to eat like I wanted too. I bought things to eat with AP. But through out the day not much. I did stay away from all the carnival style of food. Which was hard, b/c those teryaki booths looked incredable. Not much else to report at the moment.

    I did work out today. It was an okay workout. I went straight from the car ride home to the gym. Didnt have a chance to take my RPM, but I did have a good work out. I increased two of my lifts. So DC is still going okay

    Day 9

    Lifts for Upper body day 1

    Hammer Strength Bench 370 8x4x2
    Close Grip Pull Down 240 8x3x2(increase)
    Tricep Pull Down 230-whole stack now 9x4x3(increase)
    Hammer Strenght Shoulder Press 270 9x3x3
    Rack Dead 425x7

    RPM- is a freaking great product. I timed it perfectly and could just feel the blood rushing through me. I was pumped. I was starting to get that pissed off feeling again. Which I love in the gym.

    Ap-im starting too, little by little, get more vasular. I am noticing my left bicep vain is starting to pop some. My forearms also are getting a little more veiny throughout the day, not just when I am lifting.

    I am really freaking out though. I think I may have another hernia. There is a large bump right over my scar from my last hernia surgery and it has turned red. I dont know what that means. The last time my bump didnt turn red..so maybe it is an infection. I hope. The last thing I want to do is take 6 months off again. My last hernia surgery was 2 years ago. I think I shall be wearing a belt from here on out.

    good choice on the belt man. maybe even want to drop weight, increase volume to take some load off your body. at least until you talk to a doctor to see whats up. taking TOO much time off of heavy weight takes all the fun out of bulkin woo!

    log is lookin awesome tho man. seems like you are getting the results you were looking for. keep up the hard work and dedication dood!

    Thanks brah! I am taking a few days off, until I can see my surgeon. My school doctor said he doesn't think its another hernia(thank god!), but it could be a scar defect. But I should lay off the weights until then. I trying to decide if I want to continue with the DC training..or come up with a different split. Just to give my body some rest. I do like the idea of rotating different exc. for each body part.

    As far as the cycle goes. I am going to keep going unless my doctor says I cannot work out for awhile..or in fact it is a hernia. I should know by Friday hopefully..so I would only be a couple of days off.

    Yo what's up dude.....good to see you're gonna get shredded....Frank Zane was shredded at 180, and you'll def weigh more than that, i'm jealous...good luck man

    Sorry for the lack of updates. My sister's wedding was this weekend..along with the fact I had to wait to see my surgeon, to get OKed to workout again.
    Luckily it was not another hernia, but an infected stitch from my previous hernia. I did continue to take my supps just incase it was nothing, but I was not able to work out.

    I think I am going to switch up my routine. While I love DC, I just dont think its the right thing to do for what I am trying to accomplish. I am going to go back to my three day split.
    day one chest/abs
    day two legs/arms
    day three back/shoulders

    This is pretty much what I have done, except for a few variations here and there. So I look forward to hitting the gym and I will update soon after.

    Day 8
    So today I switched up my routine to something other than DC. I think DC is something I will def go back to, but not when I am cutting somewhat.

    My workout felt very good, except I could tell my body had to get used to doing more than one set for a body part, although I was suprised how much strenght I still felt after not doing some exsercises for awhile.

    I will say that I love doing chest this way b/c I could barely shower when I got b/c my chest was still pumped. And after I had my post workout AP and Neovar, I felt very pumped and my shirt seemed to be tighter.

    (Today I was just more so trying to figure how much I can still lift)
    My new routine looked like this:
    DB Bench 105x7
    Incline BB 205x6
    Fly machine whole stack(270)x8
    Decline 135 until failure I think 25reps



    I am still enjoying the effects of RPM. I am focused when I need to be throughout the workout and I am sweating a ton.

    I would also like to see if anyone could be of help dietwise. I feel like i am stalling out..but still feel like I am eating okay. Here is my diet today and this is what it typically is.

    Proteins
    Whey I had 3 shakes at 50g of Protein each
    2 cans tuna
    1 chicken breast

    Carbs
    **These are only consumed at first meal of the day and then pre and post workout
    Vegan rice cakes probably 4
    1 cup organic rolled oats
    1/2 sweet potatoe

    fats
    6g of Fish Oil

    Today would be day 13 and yesterdays workout went pretty well. I am noticing some veins starting to come out in my shoulders/upper chest...which I haven't seen in awhile. I am still feeling strong.

    Yesterday the RPN was i full swing. I chopped 30secs off my mile time. I am not really trying to run the mile as fast as I can. But when I am constantly doing it faster and with more intensity, I know something is up. I will say that towards the end of my workout, I was feeling light headed. I think it was b/c I was supersetting everything and hadnt done that in ages. I did not feel like I needed much rest in between sets either.


    Legs and Arms
    Squats 5x5 225
    sitting calf raises 140x15
    V-Bar Curls 90x8
    Tri pull down 225x8
    Close grip Bench on decline 155x10
    sitting dip machine 180x10

    Meals have been going well. I did cheat last night. G/f made me peanut butter crackers that I could not turn down, since I forgot my protein powder.

    damn dude, peanut butter crackers....noone can pass those up haha.
