Well, the time has come (winter here) to do a nice bulk.

Goals:
Bulk as much as possible while keeping body fat below 10%
Really focus on quad, hamstring and calve development.
Also try and build thicker abs.

Current Stats:
Height: 183cm
Weight: 91kg's (201lbs)
Body Fat: 8.9%

How I intend to achieve these goals:
High protein, medium carb, low-medium fat intake.
Will use mainly low GI CHO's, but I'm not afraid to eat dirty.
Rep ranges will be on the low side, 6-10, going as heavy as possible.
Good supplements to back my training an diet up.


How the supplements will be taken:
First week will be:
AN IGF2 (old formula)
Poseidon
RPN gut health
AN Drive
AN RPM
Anabolic Pump

Second week till Fifth week:
AN IGF2 (New formula!!)
Neovar 2.0
Poseidon
RPN gut health
Activate Xtreme
anabolic Pump

Rating of workouts will be done as per my previous logs:

This log should kick off hopefully by Monday, as I'm still waiting on a couple of supplements to arrive.

Where do you train?
Train at the university gym, better than training at work, to many people to annoy me there. :)

Got an idea on how you're going to run those supps?
Supplement arsenal:
AN Drive (3 pre workout / 3 six hours later)
AN RPM (3 pre workout)
AN IGF2 (3 upon wake / 3 afternoon / 3 at bedtime)
Poseidon (2-3 scoops per day, first thing in morning, then with workout, and sometime pre bed)

To be added when arrives:
Neovar 2.0 (3 in morning / 3 post workout)
Anabolic Pump (1 in morning / 1 post workout meal / 1 with dinner )

Hope this makes sense.

in. ill be running this a stack very very similar to this in sept for my bulk also. what is your training split going to be like?

Good to have you in :)
Training split will be legs 2 times per week (Monday, Friday)
Chest (Sunday)
Back + Biceps (will rotate depending on day)
Shoulders + triceps (will rotate depending on day)

Will do weights 4 times per week, so obviously legs will take up 2 days with the other 3 groups being done around that, so one muscle group will miss out each week in a rotation type manner.

Dont like doing weights 5 times per week as I find with my intensity I tend to find this over trains me, so a 8 day week tends to work better.

With legs twice a week are you working the same muscle groups at the same intensity?

Same intensity yes, but slightly different movements, deadlifts each time, but squats just once per week, leg extension both times , hamstring curls on swiss ball and machine once and calves seated and standing both times. So I guess the main difference is just squats once per week, and the second time replacing the squats with hamstring exercises.

Looks good. Are your deadlifts targeting your Hammies, or a full body movement?

Good question, forgot to mention, that once per week I'll use deadlifts as a full body movement, bending at the knees, and then the other day I will do stiff legged deadlifts to target hamstrings.

You will have deeper and better sleep on IGF-2, because it releases more GH in the body :)

I understand...i was just asking..b/c from what i read...and im def not the smartest person in the world....that its primary function was to boost testosterone and increase GH...i just didnt think of it as having other effects...such as effects on my sleep like it did the first day I took it.

Yeah the main function is to boost GH. GH is highest when you sleep so it is definitely beneficial to take it pre sleep.

it's ok man, we all learn as we go, and IGF-2 does indeed help with sleep, and if you stack it with some ZMA, you will have amazing vivid dreams and some great DEEP sleep. :)

Yes, IGF-2 is GREAT for recovery! DOMS is eliminated (well, it was for me). And because sleep is when the body recovers, and the sleep you get on IGF-2 is deeper, then yeah, it helps recovery quite a lot!


Not trying to be an azz but why did you buy it if you didnt know what it is or what it does?

I completely understand....and not to hijack the thread....I had read most of the FAGS on the AN forum, but it was when the product first came out...so it has been awhile. And that part just did not jump out at me.

I think im gonna def try it with ZMA tho....I loved ZMA

Ok Couldnt wait to try some of my stack so tried the following:

5 Drive pre workout (I know... seems crazy)
3 RPM
1 anabolic pump post workout (15min pre eat) with 70grams carbohydrates.
3 Igf2 upon waking, and another 3 pre workout.
1 scoop Poseidon upon waking.


Day: One
Muscles worked: Biceps and Shoulders and Abs
Strength: Up slightly
Bodyweight/Body Comp:Normal for now
Pumps/Vascularity:Good pump, forearms and biceps especially
Endurance:Good as always on RPM and Drive
Aggression:Normal
Focus:Good
Libido:Normal
Muscle Density/Hardening: Good
Overall Energy:Up
Personal Commentary: Good workout, good pumps, good strength and managed to keep up with a guy currently doing Epi, so that's a bonus. anabolic pump seems to have made me full of energy.... which is weird for me. We will see how I am later.

Log will change somewhat than originally planned. I will edit my initial log posting and make corrections.

Update: Will dose RPN Gut Health as stated on bottle, I'll take 2 before bed for 5 days, then one per day. Hope it helps with bloating :)

Also took my 2nd dose of AP about 6 hours after first dosing, I am noticing I'm getting hungry as hell on this stuff. Slammed the carbs back tonight with ease!

Yeah I do rate that stuff, awesome pumps for sure! Just wanted to give it a break, and give the new stuff I'm logging a chance to impress me, including AP which is meant to increase pumps.

Endurance:Good as always on RPM and Drive
Aggression:Normal
Focus:Good
Libido:Normal
Muscle Density/Hardening: Good
Overall Energy:Up
Personal Commentary: Good workout, managed some good focus and mind/muscle connection on back, which is good, as I'm really trying to bring out my lats at the moments. Good pump in the lats, and shoulders. Abs went well as well. Felt quite strong today.

Will take another AP in 6 hours, and 2 Gut Health before bed.

What carb source are you using with your AP?
Been taking 2 AP per day as recommended. Taking it post workout, with low and high GI cho's and then again before dinner with rice etc.
