First off, thanks to everyone @ Designer Supps for the bottle of Adrenalean and the opportunity to run a month long log. I'll be attempting to shred off about 10-15 lbs of bodyfat and will utilize AP with the Adrenalean. I've used AP for a few weeks now, so I'll be able to see which supp is doing what.
The plan I follow is pretty simple, I lift 3x a week, and cardio 3-4x a week. I take 1 or 2 rest days a week as needed. I let my body decide. As for nutrition, I carb cycle, with zero carbs on my days off from training, refeed days the day before legs every other leg session (once every 10 days or so) and the other days are all low or moderate carbs, with low meaning 20-50 and moderate meaning 50-100. A typical refeed will be in the 400 range. My carbs come from sweet potatos, brown rice, oats, whole wheat pasta, fruits, squash, and other veggies. The only bread will be the occasional slice or two of pumpernickel. Total caloric intake p/day is 2300-2700 on average.
So......on with it. Today is day one.
0430 - woke up, downed 1 AP.
0500 - large shake, 3 scoops whey, 2 tbspn natty pb, 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup milk and ice cubes/water.
0530 - 2 ADRENALEAN tablets.
0700 - 20 min calisthenics and 3 mile run. Had great energy, run time was average at 28 min....I didn't push, just jogged.
0815 - 3 oz tuna and a handful of almonds.
its almost 10 now and I'm pretty wide awake, but, no crazy heartrate, high body temp/sweats or anything like that. At my size (226 lbs) I'll probably end up taking 3 tabs in the AM.....I'm not hungry either - which is a bonus. Lunch is at 11, but is a moderate lunch since I'm not lifting today. I'll lift tomorrow.
So far so good, but again, its only day 1. I'm stoked though and really shooting for 215 by early Aug.
