the shes gone lean x basic custplus log

my girl left me fat and broke. no lie i was getting there when i met her. I was 225 around 30% now i am 244 at 40% as of five minutes ago. i will be loggin lean xtreme and basic cuts + ephedrine and baby asprin. I will cut out all supplement as of today with the exception of betagen. I may add in things if i think they are needed. I will be testing for appetite suppression energy focus ,and how i feel by the end of the 30 day test. I will report my findings any questions feel free, words of encoragement would be nice, if you wanna flame try flaming someone who cares. my diet will be as low carb as possible. I work 60 to 70 hours a week so its hard to always eat right. I will try to stick around 1500 to 1800 and try doing 30 min cardio a day plus 3 full body workouts a week ,and when i say i was getting there i started out at 290lbs and i dont even what to know my bf % then.

I'm not trying to 'flame', but are you for real? 1,500 cals and 30 mins cardio + 3 full body workouts per day? If you were 200 lbs, you could burn about 2000 cals per day by doing a workout routine of changing the channel on the tv and stroking your bird.

1 proper full body workout will burn about 600+ cals. You're working too many hours, under too much stress, and in a bad mental place to be attempting anything near what you're attempting.

I'm not bashing you, I feel for you and what you're going to need to do to get back what you lost in time, however, you need to give yourself a break and do some researching on how to properly setup a healthy lifestyle. Research the basics and setup a staple supplement stack, but you're a long way from being in a position to ask questions on supps.

We aren't flaming you at all, but you are working out too much. 3 total body workouts a day is impossible to keep up. I'd keel over after a few days. If total body is your thing, then keep it to 3 times a week, and as spaced out as possible. 1 on, 2 off. Hit cardio 6 times a week if you want, but don't push yourself past what your body can handle. Diet is going to be the biggest factor in success. If you ask anyone knowledgeable around here, they will tell you that your diet is your biggest ally and worst enemy, depending on your diet. If you really want this, you will start cooking for yourself and learning to eat food cold if you have to. It sounds like it sucks, but trust me I've been overweight before, and that sucks way worse. Junk food starts to make you feel ill though once you cut it out, and your body will get used to real food. Real food makes you feel GOOD.

Just keep a positive mental attitude 100% of the time, even if you feel like ****, keep your head on straight and remember that you are doing this for the most important thing in your life... YOUR LIFE.

We're all here with ya bro, this messageboard helps a lot (at least for me) to keep my head in the game and to not back down/give up on my goals. I wish you the best my friend, if you ever need some encouragement or advice, I'll be keeping an eye on your log.

    day 1

ok felt great at work other than being a little testy i got smart with my boss a couple of times but its ok. it was stock night so i stayed active pretty much all night. I wasnt very hungry but i still manged to eat when i thought it was needed. sorry about the confusion and also my poor speeling and punctuation. thanks for the concern about my caloric intake i will run it for a few days and then check my bodyfat percentage if it starts rising i will try and adjust.

I wish you all the luck, man. But hey, what the hell is up with the extended run-on sentence? Structure is key to life, bodybuilding, and writing.

At this point, just don't worry to much about sodium, etc. Just look for calories and macronutrient breakdowns (protein/carbs/fat). Later on, we'll worry about sodium content and all the other little things. Take it slow.

thanks man its hard to have all your meals planned when you wake up and realize that you have to be at work in an hour and work is 45 mins away. i am working one job in two locations some times in the same day, and then another is 12 hour shifts for three days. i am trying my best to keep busy to keep her off my mind and repair the damage that she did to my wallet ,and she dosent make it any easier by trying to keep in touch with me you know just in case she cant find anyone else. work and the gym is keeping me sane.

Step#1: Forget the woman, there are more fish in the sea and you'll make more money in the future. She doesn't sound like a keeper anyway if she left you broke.

Step#2: Cook once or twice a day, just cook 3 meals at a time. If you are going to bake a chicken breast, why not bake four? It will take about the same time to cook, and now you can make all sorts of hot or cold dishes and bring them with you in tupperware. All you need is either a microwave or to just eat it cold. If it's cooked it doesn't matter, and if you are gonna be serious about this get used to eating. Start simple, you will figure out more and more stuff to make. You will save a hell of a lot of money in the long run too. Things like scrambled eggs take all of 2 and a half minutes to cook. It really isn't the chore that it seems like at first. Cooking is really the key to your success. Check out the recepies section of the forum.

Not to be a arse, but:

    Prior
    Proper
    planning
    promotes
    peak
    performance

I try to remember this little mantra when I get mad about not having things planned properly.

Oatmeal with a few scoops of protein powder mixed in is a great start to the day. Use foam bowls it takes a minute to heat , then mix in the powder and add water for consistency and you are done. Throw the bowl away and no mess for you to clean up when you get home. Cook for a few days in one night and put it all in microwave tupperware and pack as many as you need the night before work. If you are really pressed for time get a footlong subway sub on wheat/ or honey oat and take it with you.

Congrats on moving things forward. I'm guessing that with the work hours, your cortisol levels and stress are sky high. I did those hours for a while, but I was 20 at the time. Anything you can do about the hours? Like a remote work trial, like in 4 hour workweek?

This is a great board. Listen to the above advice from the guys, theres some real gold in them.
