I was starting to feel that my chest workout was lagging, and I also wanted a boost to my cutting scheme, so I decided to start Tri-Sets. The lifts that have a * means they were all part of the same Tri-Set. Anyway, this workout was insane. I hadn't felt this pumped and tired since I began lifting in high school.

Workout felt pretty good. I was pretty focused and intensified. I'm starting to feel the effects of my cut. I feel like I'm starting to get weaker. Hopefully Hypertrop can null that.

I went back to the gym after work to do some cardio. I did 20 minutes of bike at level 4 keeping my RPMs at least at 90. Every five minutes I would go all out. I don't have time right now to elaborate, but I will later.

For cardio I did stairs. I did four sets of stairs running up and down then sideways from stair case to stair case, skipping a step each time on the stairs. I did two sets of side stepping on every single step, then running between stair cases. I did two sets of jumps, skipping a step each time then running between stair cases.

The cardio killed my face. I almost yaked at the end, and I felt very dizzy. Good workout though.

Day 22: Tuesday 6/10/08 BJJ

Today's training was decent. After warm ups I felt pretty good and ready to rock. I rolled 3 times GI and 2 times NO GI. I felt slightly better than last week, but my lungs are not up to par with my standards. I think they will get better as my cardio workouts increase in volume and intensity. Abs afterwards were cool, but I've gotten accustomed to the workout and I need to find a way to make it more difficult to keep stimulating growth.

I'm actually gaining the ability to regulate my breathing and endurance after a few weeks on HypX. I used to really struggle with breathing.

I was on vacation from Thursday 6/12 - Thursday of 6/19. I had a wedding to attend and some family visiting in So Cal. I did manage to do 75 pushups on Monday just to make myself feel a little better about not going to the gym.

I will no longer be updating cardio daily or weekly. Rather, I will be updating as I see new developments. I don't take notes on cardio days and due to my schedule I update my log once a couple of weeks so I forget cardio sessions anyway. However, weight lifting aspect will still be updated much in the same fashion that I have been updating since there aren't really much people checking the log daily. I prefer to update in bulk. I hope this is okay with AMS.

Well you are up on reps, so endurance is going up. Cutting is hard to do, it can take a toll. But are YOU seeing the results in your body in the mirror!

I tried doing the wide pull ups with 25 pounds and I could barely get a decent rep. So I just felt like a total biatch and had to put on a 10 pound plate. It was pretty embarrassing actually. Good workout though, and first time I dose 5 caps. I didn't feel any different though. I might try 6 caps soon.

I have never, EVER in my life been able to do more than 40 pounds for my military press on the dumbbells. Wow. I completely underestimated myself this time I guess. I am still in awe of myself because this is a HUGE strength increase for me that I guess went unnoticed. I thought I would struggle to get 10 at 40 pounds. It turns out even the 50 pounders were a little too light for me. w00t! :)

I only had a 1 minute break between the tri-sets, because I really want to push myself in the gym to get my endurance up if I'm not going to get any stronger while cutting. I've usually had anywhere from 3-5 minutes between sets.

This workout was a huge disappointment. I expected to put up more reps all around and I barely minimally increased in some sets. In the last set, I had no muscle energy whatsoever. I felt like it was the first time I ever lifted the way I was fine one rep, and then the next rep... DEAD.

I am not happy with this workout. At all.

What supps are you taking on this cut besides HypX? Do you have much longer before the cut is over?

I might add in RPM and Neovar for strength. I'm cutting but I'm back on my Var cycle so i'm not losing as much strength.

The ball push ups are hard, gotta love those!

u ran that shyt for 70days ..how many bottles did u score like 4 ? lol

but yah like crader said .. u can see the results, although i ddidnt understood why u wanted to drop the weight ..but going from 167 to 154.6 in 2+months is pretty good .. plus while getting cut.

how did you like hypertrop-X ? gave you enough energy in the gym ?

The log itself was 70 days, meaning from the first day that I started it including all the days of the week and weekend. However, I did not lift every day, and I only took HYP-X when I lifted. I barely finished a bottle actually. I wanted to run the other bottle, but Laze said the logs were done so I just uploaded my pictures and left it at that.

Weight itself wasn't the number 1 goal. It was dropping BF%. Last summer I was at 140ish and I ran a dirty bulk until February from September, which left me at 185ish. Most of it was not lean mass, so I wanted to cut down until a decent weight while maintaining the strength. I leaned down slowly by cutting calories until this log and that's where I was at.

My BF% was not good enough so I just kept right on going with the cut until this log. However, I think I might have added a bit of lean mass with Hyp-X to be honest with you.

I liked Hyp-X and I am still using it. I will continue to use it until the bottle runs out, and then I will begin another bulk this winter. This time though it will be a very clean strict bulk. I will probably buy this product again sometime after my bulk to help me push through tough workouts and long days. My goals of this log were to lose body fat and maintain strength, which I did so I am very happy with this product.

It is also important to add that I am a brazilian jujitsu athlete and therefore body building comes 2nd in my priorities. I don't wish to get huge, but I do want a good looking and symmetrical body.


Final Observation and Thoughts:

My goal for this log was to cut/recomp without losing any strength. I was able to do so, and then some. I actually lost weight and added strength which is something that I had never been able to do. My diet was approximately 45/35/20 for the most part on average and I stayed close to maintenance calorie counts the whole time. I hardly worked on cardio and I was still able to achieve great results. I would definitely use this product again, but next time I would stack it with other products. I think stacking this with a creatine or a natural test booster would provide insane results. I definitely recommend it to other people.
