After much reading on the board, and not to much posting, thought that i would try a few of the supps that look promising and give them a shot. I realize there are many more out there and I have plenty of time to try them.
This is my first log for supps, so I'll try to make it detailed for ppl who read as I go. Going to be using AEN Steel Edge, IXL, and Muslcetech Halo.

Current Stats:
Age: 23
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 220 lbs
Experience: abt 6 yrs, 3 serious lifting
Purpose: In an effort to start cutting up for the summer, and see where I stand so I know my weaker points and can build on those.

Diet and Workout to follow, just wanted to get a jumpstart on this log.

Day 1: Going to continue to eat as much as possible for the week and begin dieting down Monday of next week. As far as workout today was a great chest day.
Took 3 IXL as directed and mixed up the Steel Edge in about half gal of water for workout. Tastes great so I was pleased.

Decline DB Press: (85*15) 105*12 125*10 125*10 85*8
Machine Incline: (per side) 90*15 115*10 135*8 90*8

BB Incline Press 135*10 135*10 135*10 superset w/
Machine seated Press 110*10 100*8 100*8

Cardio: Elliptical on balls of feet 12 mins

Cable Flyes (per side) 60*12 x3

Great workout, personal best on DB decline. Energy and focus was good. Had a great chest pump. During cardio wasnt winded at all, felt as though I could have gone for about 30 mins or so. Definately see good things coming from the Steel Edge IXL combo. Anabolic Halo from Muscletech has a refreshing taste, better than prolly most of their products taste, kind of cool minty aftertaste in your mouth.

Day 2:

All I can say is intense. Popped 4 IXL before workout, and mixed 2 scoops in 1/3 gal of water and off to gym. Bottle for IXL says can cause a tingling sensation, havent received that so figured Id up the dose a lil and see. Anyways got to gym and it was on. Best arm workout I had in awhile.

Cardio: 10 mins Elliptical level 12 on balls of feet

Big Bar Curls 65*20 85*15 85*15 75*10 65*8
Cable Tricep Press 90*15x3
DB Preacher Curl 40*15 40*15 35*12 35*12
DB Tricep Press 60*15 60*15 60*15
Cable Curls 100*20 120*15 120*12
Wide Grip Tricep Press 100*15 100*15 100*15
Hammer Curls 35*12 40*15 40*15

Donkey Calf Raises 400*10 400*20 400*20 400*20

Intensity was through the roof, sweating like a whore in church and arms were throbbing and larger than ever before. Dunno if its a mental thing or if the IXL and Steel Edge are just that effective, either way Im not complaining.

Day 3: Back and Shoulders

Popped 4IXL and mixed up my Steel Edge with half gallon water and off to the gym. Still havent gotten the tingle sensation from IXL like is talked about. Maybe it takes a little bit to get into my system. Numbers are below from my workout.

Dead Lifts 225*10 315*10 315*8 225*10
Shrugs Db 90*20 90*20 90*15
Shoulder Press 135*10 155*8 175*8 135*10
Iso Row per side 45*12 80*12 90*12 45*15 superset w/
Iso Low Row 45*12 70*12 80*12 45*15
Lat Pulldown 100*15 120*12 120*12
DB Press 55*15 70*12 70*12
Cable side/front raises 35*15 45*12 30*15

Cardio: 6mins on Elliptical

The workout was intense, focus was there. A little lethargic though. Doing deadlift really worked up a sweat and got my blood flowing. Although had some lower back pain. Was looking to go a bit heavier, but didnt want to blow my back out and not be able to finish the rest of my workout. Things are looking promising, with this stack.

Chose the Muscletech because of the contest on bodybuilding.com. It is a 4 week transformation with a decent prize. Thought Id give them a shot. I like some of their products, and I know that there are quite a few companies that are better. All I have is time to test out products and keep growing

Day 4:

My apoligies for not updating this sooner. Went out of town to visit some old friends and didnt get around to logging. Anyways, today was leg day. Popped 4 IXL, seems to be my magic number for the tingly feeling. And mixed up Steel Edge in Half gallon of water...off I went to get some leg work done.

Squat (135*15) 205*12 205*12 275*8 275*8 205*10
Leg Extn 90*15 100*12 120*10 (single leg)
Leg Curl 90*15 90*15 100*12
Leg Press 360*12 360*12 360*12
Donkey Calf 120*20 140*20 140*15
Seated Calf 90*15 90*15 90*15

Opted not to do Hack Squats after dng that many sets of reg sqauts. Veins were everywhere and legs were tighter than ever before. Didnt have belt, so wasnt able to go any heavier, didnt want to risk rupturing a disk, or anythign else.

Supps are working well, couldnt be happier. If only I could be in a gym that didnt have the AC on 60. So damn cold that I have to wear sweats in the summer...rediculous... Strength is through the roof and it feels as though I can continue for days. When running on the elliptical I can go for a good 20 or 30 mins without having any problems what so ever. Beta-Alanine, I love you...

ok, my apoligies to anyone who has been following this. Had to slow down the workouts with school finishing up, going in and out of town for job interviews, and pre-employment testing....

Down to 210 lbs as of today, Supps are working well, finishing the Steel Edge tomorrow, and will be starting NO2 (thanks Norwegian) for tomorrows workout, with some Beta-Alanine mixed into last steel edge drink.

So I trained with Norwegian today, high volume workout. Definately a shock to all my muscles. Here it is:

Chest/Biceps

Low Pulley Cross-overs - 50 * 30, 55 * 25, 65* 20

Incline Hammer Press - 90 * 25, 90* 25, 90 * 25
Incline Dumbbell Press - 50 * 30, 50 * 20, 45 * 20

Flat DB Flyes - 25 * 25, 25 * 20, 22.5 * 25
Decline Machine Press - 70 * 25, 70 * 25, 60 * 25

Bench Press - 115 * 10, 115 * 5, 115* 5, 115 * 5

Pec-dec Flyes - 70 * 25, 90 * 20, 110 * 20

Uni-arm Machine Curls - 90 * 30, 110 * 25, 130 * 20

Seated DB Hammer Curls - 30 * 20, 30 * 20, 30 * 20

As mentioned a total shock to the body, couldnt believe how fatigued I was after just 2 exercises. For anyone who thinks this workout is a joke, I have news for you. Looking at the weights I normally do, compared to a workout of this calibre, is totally different and something that is a total kick in the ass...

I will be updating this log daily now, as school is over and only thing is work now... Ill be moving to Orange,TX in about a week and working for an EMS company there... 24 on 48 off, or on call all the time... Not sure which shifts Ill be on, either way ill be able to workout all the time and I plan on incorporating this style routine into my plan. Thanks Norwegian.

Hahaha, bro, I forgot you still had that IXL on the side ! I'm guessing the 6+ grams of Beta alongside high volume/rep training is quite the combo for you, too, huh !? Glad you liking the variation in your training .. When your body's left in shock, that's how you keep growing ! (don't tell anyone..)

ok, so been in Lafayette, La all week long... left College Station Sunday afternoon, got home to Southeast Texas area and drove here bright and early Monday morning... Anyways here for orientation at new EMS company, was suppose to be put up into a hotel, instead having to stay on campus in some dorm like places... Not bad, could always be better though... Sit through meetings from 8 to 5 the past 3 days, getting old for sure...
Looked a gym in town, talked to owner/operator... he says 20 bux for a week to train. A hardcore no BS gym, the essentials with a few extras, but not a prissy gym, little A/C working but more or less a sweat house... I was in heaven.

Monday- Chest
Incline 65*20 75*20 85*20
Flat 60*20 60*20 60*20
Flys 30*20 30*30 30*18
Seated Decline 90*20 100*20 90*20

Tuesday - Arms
Big Bar Curl 65*20 85*20 105*20
Trngle Press 100*20 120*20 130*20
Seated Hammer 30*20 30*20 25*20
(Over bench, with a twist)
Overhead Tricep Press 60*20 80*20 90*20
Curl Bar Overhead Press 65*20 65*20 65*20
Close Grip Curls 65*20 65*20 65*20

Wednesday - Shoulders/Back
DB Press 55*20 65*20 70*20
Shrugs 100*20 120*15 105*20
Cable Pulldown 120*20 140*20 180*12 180*8
Big Bar Standing Row 135*20 155*15 155*20
Triangle Deadlift bar shrugs 100*20 100*20 100*20

Great workouts, stayed pumped the whole time, good sweat didnt feel like I was cold or gng to cramp or anything...
