Furazadrol Log and Cut

Time for another log. This time I am cutting. As you can see from the pics, I've got a 10lb spare tire that needs to go. I figured I'd try out Furazadrol from Axis Labs to give me a little edge. I started taking it on Sunday January 27.

Dosing will go like this 100/150/150/200/150 which equates to two bottles. post cycle therapy is Derm Sustain. I've got Nolva and Torem on hand if need be.

I'm in the 2400 calories a day range. Less on off days.
I'll be supplementing with fish oil, Flax oil, whey/casein protein shakes, Pure Protein Bars and BCAA's mixed with Tea throughout the day.

W/O schedule is:

Jump rope for 5 minutes as warm up.
Mon/Chest, Tues/Legs, Wed/Back, Thurs/Off, Fri/Arms, Sat/Shoulders, Sun/Off.
Cardio on workout days except for legs day (4x a week for 35 minutes. Alternate between Stairmaster, Treadmill, Bike and elliptical)

Weight - 200
BF according to electric handheld meter - 18%

I want to get down to 190 and maintain my muscle. I'm not a body builder. I want to be cut, defined and fit into my 34s comfortably again.

The pics show where I was 5 months ago and where I am today. No doubt I added a lb or three of fat. I was 180 in that pic. I store fat in my love handles and I've got some on my chest. The rest seems to be evenly distributed.

I look forward to posting updates. I'll post weight and pics at the 4 week point.

It should be 6 to 10 reps...

When do you bump up to 150mg?

6-10? Ok I see now. Some are 8-10 some 6-10. I'll adjust my printed w/o schedule.

I bump to 150mg on Sunday.

Today was supposed to be legs but I've still got some soreness in my hams from last week so I did back instead. I also did the stairclimber for 20 minutes and the bike for 10.

Jumprope for 5 sets of 1 minute each with 30 seconds of rest in between sets for warm up.

Legs tomorrow. :whip:

Thanks Snook.

I destroyed my legs today. The new workout with 6-10 reps has helped me up the weight on squats, deads and lunges. Overall it was a great workout. Tomorrow is much needed rest. I'll carb load on sweet potatoes and some high protein spaghetti while keeping protein at the same levels. I'll do a few minutes of jump rope to keep active.

Bumping furaz up to 150. :afro:

Good luck bro!

I ran a very similar cycle last year, in May. I lost like 6 pounds, hardened out and kept all my strengt during my 4 week cycle.
I took some 6-oxo for post cycle therapy and I never felt shutdown.
I liked it!

The only downside to furazadrol is that it's kinda overpriced/underdosed.

The price is actually really good considering how much raws/production cost. I'm sure if you searched hard enough, you will find Furazadrol at around $35, which is low compared to some places.

I will agree, I wish the dose was higher - but for the lack of sides, and the great cutting affect - It's worth its weight!

if you watch your diet, you can lose fat and gain muscle on furazadrol. this is something every supplement only wishes it could do. for what it does with very little side effects furazadrol goes to the top of the list. well worth the money for the results you will see. i aint no rep-just a big fan of furazadrol, ive ran 3 cycles and achieved great results on each of them. good luck, edwards!

I was a bit tired on Tuesday because I didn't get enough sleep on Monday night so I didn't work out.

Wednesday was shoulders. I hit em pretty hard. 30 minutes on the stair climber and I was soaked.

I weighed in at 194. There's no way I lost that much fat (because I don't look it) so I believe most of it was water weight. My shirt was soaked again. There's no way I'll be picking up any ladies with the amount I sweat during my workout. It really is amazing.

Edward - If you are, and I'm positive you are, following the work out that was designed for you in your quest to get cut, you will see a huge difference in BF% drop, lean muscle gain, and water shed. So it sounds like things are going as planned - Awesome!

I typed up an update on Thursday night and I guess it didn't go through!

Ok, Boxeman, thanks! I haven't worked on obliques since I started working out 8 months back. I just started doing torso twists with the new workout three weeks ago. I'll definately work on them!

I am bumping to 200mg day tomorrow, Saturday. I also added in the Propadrol at the recommended dose of 2 pills a day.

Strength is way up. Aggression is way up. Endurance during Cardio is up and getting easier. I'm starting to see some definition in my quads. I need to measure myself and compare to my measurements from a few months ago.

I haven't weighed myself lately. I'll do it today after my leg workout. Yesterday was my 30th birthday so I'm going to the HardRock Casino tonight. I don't drink or anything so I won't blow my diet or my cash wad! I booked a reservation at the fish house so I'll have fish and veggies for dinner.

Not much else to report. So far, Furaz is a great product. I might have better cutting results if I cleaned up my diet even more.

Tommorow is beginning of week 4.

PS Matt
How do I do the torso turns with a stick that your put in the program? I've been doing the torso twists on the precor machine. thanks

a few people at the gym I hadn't seen in two weeks mentioned that I looked like I lost some weight in my face. My jeans feel a little bit looser. Just a little bit. I've still got a long way to go. I took the weekend off after a strenuous leg workout on Friday. I've had back pain something aweful over the weekend.
Chest tomorrow.

Monday's chest workout was very productive. Strength was up. I also spent some time working abs and obliques with hanging leg raises and crunches. 5 minutes of jump rope and 25 minutes on the recumbant.

On Sunday I had a trainer at the gym do a 6 or maybe 8 point bf analysis using calipers, the expensive ones. He concluded I was 17.5%.

I also weighed in at 192. I'm obviously not eating up to snuff. I need to take a look at my diet and revamp it.

whats up folks? slow and stead wins the race. I was feeling a bit discouraged a few days ago because the weight wasn't melting off. However, if I really think about it, I have lost some fat. I look harder and leaner. I can fit into my jeans much better. I may still have love handles, but they are diminishing.

No one said this was going to be easy.

So here I am at the end of week three. I thought I was at the end of week 4. I'm a retard. (no offense to retards.)
So I accidentally upped the dose early. No worries.
I started doing more oblique work during my twice-weekly ab workouts.
Today I'm doing arms, biceps and triceps. I'm also putting my fat ass on the bike for a half hour. I bought a video ipod and have some major educational vids to watch.

It looks like I've got another week of this workout then Matt is going to revamp it to month 3 which I'm told is hellacious.

My mood has been steady except I was a little irritated two days ago. I have been getting a little tired during the day. This may or may not be related to the furaz/prop.

Anyway, I've got two more weeks. I hope to drop a few more lbs of fat in that time.

Overall, I feel great, I look better, I'm much stronger and harder. A good experience thus far.

So I think I know why I smell wierd when I'm working out. I smell like ammonia. Doesn't ammonia have a nitrogen smell? Maybe because I'm in a positive nitrogen balance? It is very bizarre.

Anyway, great workout today. Arms. Did some lower ab work too. Then I hopped on the incline treadmill at 20% for 25 minutes. 3.2 mph. It felt good and I got to watch stock vids on my new ipod nano. Overall, very productive day.

so does anyone else smell like ammonia when they sweat? :wtf:

I'm going to have a full blood panel done shortly to check out whats up. I want to make sure my constant lethargy (which has been going on for many months) isn't something I should be concerned about. I've been taking provigil to help with it. (it also seems to help ADD as well.)

Today is legs. I have had serious back pumps all day which may also be left over pain from back day, last week.

No cardio today! woot :nutkick:

Did I mention that I won $500 at the Hard Rock casino last week? booya. :FUfinger:

Does this happen normally? Or only when you are taking a prohormone or gear? I didn't notice it until I started taking furaz/propadrol

What Is Ammonia?

The chemical make-up of ammonia is NH3. This means that there is one Nitrogen atom bound to three Hydrogen atoms. Ammonia can be a weak acid or a weak base, depending on what type of chemical it is suspended in. Ammonia has a strong, pungent odor that is easily recognizable in cleaning products, cat urine, and, for some people, sweat!

The key to ammonia in urine and sweat is the nitrogen. The only macronutrient in your body that contains nitrogen is amino acids, the building blocks of protein. In fact, many bodybuilders are always seeking a "positive nitrogen balance" meaning that less nitrogen leaves their body than enters their body. Since nitrogen is in every amino acid, and amino acids are the building blocks of muscle, someone in positive nitrogen balance is more than likely gaining muscle mass.

Your body uses amino acids for energy every day. There is no way to avoid this. Your body constantly goes into catabolic (tissue breakdown) and anabolic (tissue building) phases. When you accumulate mass (lean or fat), your anabolic phases exceed your catabolic phases, but you still experience both phases. When your body uses an amino acid for energy, it must convert the amino acid to a useable form of energy.
It does this by stripping the nitrogen atom off of the molecule. The skeleton molecule that is left behind is then further converted into glucose and used as fuel. In order to get rid of the excess nitrogen, your body typically processes the nitrogen in your kidneys and forms urea, CO(NH2)2 - basically, a carbon dioxide molecule bound to nitrogen and hydrogen. Urea is then excreted in the urine. If your kidneys cannot handle the load of nitrogen, then the nitrogen will be excreted as ammonia in your sweat.

One other factor to consider is water intake. The methods used for getting rid of excess ammonia, such as urine and sweat, all require water as a transport mechanism. If you are not getting adequate fluid, then the solution (ammonia + water) will not be diluted. Therefore, water plays a definite role. If you are not drinking enough fluids to have at least one or two clear urinations every day, you should drink more.

Based on this explanation, it is clear that your sweat will smell like ammonia only if an excessive amount of amino acids are being used for energy, or you are not receiving adequate water. This helps us find a solution to the problem.

Doesn't That Mean My Protein Intake Is Inadequate?

Many people mistakenly believe that ammonia sweat means that their protein intake is not high enough. The body will only utilize protein for energy when it does not have a sufficient supply of fats and carbohydrates. Muscles can use glucose and fat for energy, but your brain requires glucose. Since there is no direct metabolic pathway from fat to glucose, your body will use amino acids instead. If your protein intake is high, there is a chance that the amino acids that supply energy will come from ingested food and not your hard-earned muscle tissue - but why take that chance?

Let's look at an oil lamp. If you fill that lamp with Citronella oil, it will have a distinct odor when you light it. To eliminate that odor, do you add more Citronella? No! That's just fanning the flames. You'd use a different type of oil instead. The same goes for the ammonia smell - this is just the smell of amino acids being "burned" in your body. You don't solve that by adding more amino acids. Instead, you need to supply the fuel that your body prefers - the fuel that can be easily broken down to glucose in order to supply energy to your muscles and your brain - carbohydrates!

The key to avoiding that ammonia smell is to ingest sufficient carbohydrates. If you eat an ample amount of carbohydrate with every meal, then you should have plenty to fuel your exercise activity. Even people who work out on an empty stomach should have some glucose in their bloodstream upon rising - unless they subscribe to the myth that cutting out carbohydrates before bed helps you lose fat. If you find that the ammonia smell persists (even when you consume carbohydrate with every meal), try having a low glycemic carbohydrate before you workout.

A little oatmeal, a small apple, or even a piece of sprouted grain bread can provide the fuel that your body needs. Remember, your body requires fuel to burn fat! So don't think that providing some carbs before cardio is going to eliminate the fat burning process. In fact, most of my clients who consume a light meal before working out report that their energy levels go through the roof, and they have an incredible workout. If adding 80 calories in the form of a slice of sprouted grain bread kicks your energy levels into high gear and helps you burn 100 more calories during exercise (while sparing your muscles from being used as fuel), there is no reason to worry about dropping fat!

Learning Your Body

Your body can only process a certain amount of food at each meal. Therefore, it may not be possible to avoid that ammonia smell during prolonged activities. The smell is common, for example, amongst marathon runners, who are engaging in continuous cardiovascular exercise for hours at a time. In that situation, it is advisable to consume "sports drinks" or other sources of energy during the activity to fuel your body (and especially your brain) and prevent your amino acids from being burned for energy.

The next time you smell ammonia, don't worry. It doesn't mean that your muscle tissue being broken down, and it doesn't mean that you're doomed to stink for the rest of eternity. Consume a nutritious meal immediately after exercising - a balance of lean protein and whole, unprocessed carbohydrates - and then increase your carbohydrate intake throughout the day, or add a small "snack" prior to your next workout. An apple a day can help keep the ammonia smell away!

Ok this makes sense. I've cut back on carbs prior to workout. I'll make sure to add some good whole grains, etc. and we'll see if that makes a difference.

I've never thought to add a stim. I'm not really into the effect. I already take provigil daily which has a slight stim effect.

I tried synephrine and didn't like the heart thumping action. RPM from AN didn't do it for me either. Just seemed like a waste of $.

Anyway, It looks like I've got 6 days worth of Furaz and Propadrol left. I guess that equals about 5 weeks total. I've got Derm Sustain and some Nolva to use for pct. I've also got some Drive.
So far so good. Sides have been slim to none. My nuts are hanging just as low as they were a month ago. PCT should be a breeze.

my last cycle of pplex seemed like a waste. i didn't really feel anything.

this one ive seen strength increases, hardening and i've lost a little fat. I could have done better. however, its better to take it off slow so i dont' lose muscle.
I fit better in my jeans which was the goal. If I keep doing what I'm doing, I think I'll keep losing.

I think my heart rate has been a little too high during cardio. Its been in the 140 range. For my age, 30, shouldn't it be in the 125 area? Anyway, I'm going to keep at it.

Tomorrow is my last day. I've been on the cycle for a little over a month. I have enough torem to last two or three weeks. I'm going to couple it with dermacrine sustain as my primary.
I'll add some Drive too. and keep my cals right where they are.

Overall a fun cycle. No sides other than some acne. Today I've got three HUGE zits on my face and one on my front delt! It's quite funny.

I'm ready to start month three of my training regime that Matt was cool enough to hook me up with. THANKS AGAIN MATT FOR EVERYTHING.

I'm back on a high rep workout! Yesterday's chest workout was great. Today is legs.

A quick note on Dermacrine Sustain. Unlike E-Form, Dermacrine does not stink for hours after application. It has a slight smell on application but is absorbed quickly and doesn't continue to stink.

The pump was extremely difficult to twist and get to work. In fact, the pump popped off and now I have to physically lift it up and push it back down again. It's a pain in the ass.

anyway, final pics to come
