| Board Supporter | Day 21(10/26) Neovar Dosed 5 caps 15min prior to my pre workout meal, and 5 caps 15 min prior to my post workout meal. Both meals contain about 75g's of carbs. DRIVE- Took 3 drive 45+ min before my pre workout meal, and 3 more later in the day 45min before eating. Notes- Had a good workout. Mentally was 100%, strength wise i was not thrilled. Still made improvements. Vascularity has been really good lately. Libido is still up. Still noticing some acne, which i could do without. Been noticing some definite increases in muscle hardness lately. Training Log Code: LT TT Hs Incline- 270x11rp 270x12 Hs Shoulder Press- 180x16rp 190x12rp Close Grip press- 195x21rp 205x19rp wide hammer grip pull down 195x18rp 210x17rp T-Bar row- 160x9 165x9 Hs Incline Same weight but beat reps by 1. Next time i am going to add some weight, and just try and maintain reps. Hs Shoulder pressFelt weak as **** on these for some reason. I added 10lbs but lost 4 reps. I am going to take this as my mulligan on this excersise, and if i don't make progress on it next time i hit it, i will substitute it for a new movement. Close Grip Bench Press- Added 10 lbs on these, and lost 2 reps.. I am going to likely add 10 more lbs next time and try to further lower my rep range. Wide Hammer Grip Pull Down- Felt great on these. added 15lbs and only lost 1 rep. Tbar row(non chest supported)- Added 5lbs to these and tied my reps. Will add another 5-10lbs next tme. | Registered User | Adding weight and keeping the reps is much easier than keeping the weight and trying to increase the reps, even at one at a time, especially on movements that start with the concentric phase [most if not all HS machines]. What I do is start with a higher rep range on those [around 20 rest-paused] and add weight each time, eventually bringing the rep range down to 15 [or not if I am really feeling it]. For example, on HS incline,it is quite plausible to go 220 X 20 to 240 X 21 to 260 X 20 to 280 X 18, whereas if you started at 260 X 13 then it becomes 260 X 14 then 260 X 15 then 270 X 12 [barely]. It is much harder that way, at least for me, at the lower rep range. Clean log and decent results, by the way, keep it up! |

DRIVE 3caps 1hr before my preworkout meal, and 3 caps at 1pm 1hr before eating. RPM 3 caps with DRIVE pre-workout. Notes- Didn't get a chance to update yesterday after the gym, as it was my Bday and i was busy all day. But i had a great workout. Intensity is still present.. I felt decently strong and made some progress in the gym. Libido has been great lately. It went from non existent to, highly elevated. I am loving DRIVE for this. If it did nothing else but that, i would be happy..lol Pumps, and vascularity have remained about the same. I have been feeling a bit fatigued lately. And if it continues i will take a week off from training. Training Log Code: LT TT Standing Ez Curl- 100x14rp 90x21rp Pinwheel Curls- 35x10 40x10 45°Leg press(calf)- 225x10 235x11 Hs Seated Ham- 90x26rp 100x23rp Leg Press- 680x13 590x20 720x 10 630x20 Standing Ez Curl I decided to actually lower the weight here by 10 lbs to try and work my way through a slight plateau. I managed to get 7 more reps with the lowered weight, which i am happy with. Now i will increase weight next time. Pinwheel Curls Stepped up to 40lb dumbells on these, and managed the same reps. Will try and add reps next time. 45°Leg press(calf)- Added 10lbs here, and also added 1 rep. Going to add more weight next time. Hs Seated Ham- Added 10lbs, and lost 3 reps. Going to add weight next time, and try and keep reps the same.. Leg Press Managed 8plates per side for 10reps, and 7 plates per side for 20. I am going to add weight to both sets next time. |

| Board Supporter | Day 25 Weight 10/09-189.2 10/16-190.8 +1.6lbs 10/23-192.0 +1.2 10/31-194.6 +2.6 Neovar- I have decided to bump my neovar dose to 12 caps on training days. So i took 6 caps 15 min before eating my pre workout meal, and 15min before my post workout meal. Non training days will remain at 10. Drive 3 drive 45min before my pre workout meal. And 3 more at 1pm 45min before eating. RPM 3 caps with my drive 45min before pre workout meal. Notes- Had a good workout today. Had decent intensity.. Not what it has been, but still good. Libido increases seemed to level off.. My libido is a bit lower then it was a few days ago. But still increased. Felt pretty strong today. I think after Fri, i am going to take a 7 day "cruise" period, and rest up. I am starting to feel tired during the day, and wanting to nap, when before i would never nap. My body seems to be telling me to take the time off. I will give it till fri, and see how i feel. I increased weight by 5lbs, and was aiming for atleast the same reps, but i managed to add 2reps. I think i am going to add another 5lbs next time, and shoot for the same reps. Smith Mil press Added 5lbs here and lost 1 rep. Not really thrilled about my losing the rep, but we will see what happens next workout. I did still add weight. Rev grip bench(smith)- added 10lbs here in hopes of bringing the rep range down a bit, but actually managed to only lose 1rep. I will add another 10-15lbs next week.. Assisted Wide Grip Pullup- Beat my reps by 1. I am going to have to sub these out for something else, as i am out of weight to remove. Rack Deads Kept weight the same, but beat it by 1 rep. Was happy with that. Will add weight next time, and try and keep reps about the same. |
