    I've thought about getting another tattoo (just got one in july while I was on vacation) but having to wait a year to donate blood again seems like a long time, and i'm almost 3 months thru it now

    Any specific significance to those? That tribal piece looks like it was not much fun to have done.

    The pepe le pew and penelope has my wife and I's wedding date under it, and she has a matching one. The tribal one hurt like a mofo, it was a souveneir of our trip to hawaii The very center over the sternum made my jaw hurt, the vibrations went all thru my bones. The dragons were no specific significance, got them when I was 18 + 19.

    I kind of want to do my whole right arm as a sleeve, and do a history of video games, with a ring of space invaders around my wrist, going forwards thru time upwards.

  17. Day 15. I trained back yesterdayday.

    Pulldowns:

    Two light warm up sets for ten

    Set#1: 150 for 8

    Set#2 160 for 8

    Set#3; 160 for 8

    Wide grip seated rows:

    Set#1 160 for 10

    Set#2: 150 for 10

    Set#3: 150 for eight

    Bent rows

    Set#1: 225 for 10

    Set#2: 225 for 10

    Set#3: 225 for 10

    Shugs;

    Set #1:275 for 10

    Set#2: 325 for 8

    Set #3: 325 for 8

    I finished up the session with 3 sets of pullups for 10 reps each.

    Some improvement over last week. However, I'm still not pushing extremely hard on back day until my back feels just a little more recovered. Tomorrow is chest day. I will be able to push pretty hard, so I think will be able to get a very good sense of how much more progress I have made.

  22. Day 16. I just finished training chest and bi's. Man I'm exausted. The kids kept me up up late and got me up early. I managed maybe five hours of sleep. Surprisingly my workout was pretty solid.

    Ok here we go with results from day ten.

    Cest and Bi's:
    Chest:
    flat bench
    warm up sets: 135 for 10, 185 for 8, 245 for 4.
    Set #1: 275 for 8
    Set #2: 315 for 11 I probably could have had 12 reps if I had really pushed it .
    set #3 315 for 8

    Incline bench
    Set #1: 120 dumbells for 9
    Set #2 120's for 8
    Set# 3 120's for 7

    Flys:
    Set#1 65 dumbells for 10
    Set#2 65's for 9
    set#3 65's for 8

    Dips two sets of 20

    Bi's
    One arm standing DB's

    Set#1 40's for 15
    Set#2 50's for 12
    Set#3 50's for 9

    single arm preacher curls

    I finished the workout with a 30 rep set of dips.

    My max flat bench has gone up almost two reps. I feel like I will get 12 next week , or the week after for sure. My incline dumbells presses have also improved. Over all my strength is gradually going up. I also feel full and I'm getting great pumps. I have enough Neovar to go about four weeks. I would love to have enough to log at least six or seven weeks(yes it's a shameless attempt to get more product). I'll check back in tomorrow after leg day.

  23. Day 17. Another night of only abou five hours of sleep. The kids are going to kill me.

    Quads and hams

    Squats:
    Warm up sets: empty bar for 20, 135 for 10, 205 for 8, 245 for 4

    Set #1 275 for 8

    Set#2 345 for 8

    Set#3 365 for 8

    Hams:

    4 sets of romanian deadlifts 65 lbs dumbells 8 reps each set

    Tomorrow is an off day. Thursday is shoulders and tris. I should be able to get a good sense after that workout if I am continuing to progress. My appetite has leveled off a bit. I seem to have hit the sweet spot calorie wise.

    I think the progress will continue. I'm actually thinking about changing up my workout a bit if I know more product is on the way. I'm interested in lowering my reps a bit. I'm specifically interested in seeing what I can max out at on flat bench. It's one of my lifts that I can really push hard on without fear of injury. I think it would be interesting to set a goal for one rep on flat bench, and see how close I can come to it.

    I felt great today, really strong. I dropped the reps a bit on my main shoulder movement (dumbell presses). I also added an extra set. When ever I drop the reps I will usually add an exta set. That way I make sure that I get enough volume in.

    I was starting to feel a little stale doing higher reps. I also want to take advantage of my strength increses. My back felt great today, so I expect a great back session tomorrow.

  28. Neovar log day 20 back day. Got some good sleep in again last night. It's amazing the difference a few extra hours make.

    Curl grip pulldowns

    I felt really good and had a great pump, but I always hold off a bit on back day. So I didn't go 100 % effort. There is always another day. I have decided to stop doing shrugs for a while since that exercise seems to be the main reason my back goes out. However, rack pulls seem to hit my traps very well. I am thinking about full range deadlifts again, but I'm in no rush at the moment. I think I will step on a scale next week to see where my weight is.

    That's the end of my training week. I will be back on Monday. Hope everyone has a good weekend. I have decided to set a goal of a 420 bench for myself. I have never tried more than 405, so it should be interesting to see what happens. I will be changing up my chest workouut accordingly. If anyone has any good suggestions let me know. I'm a train by feel guy. This is the first time I have really put my workouts into writing.
