Introduction
[SIZE="-3"][SIZE="-3"]Throughout this log I will be continuing my bulk which started in February of this year. I have done a good job warding off fat gains while increasing LBM by keeping a very clean diet(more detail later) and a training program that I have found to provide me with the best results(more detail later). I am extremely dedicated to doing the best that I can do and then pushing myself beyond that point. I got this mentality from my father and don't regret having it in the least. The first thing that I want to point out is that I realize that diet and training make results and supplements only help out when those in tandem are perfect , I will be making no excuses along the way for failure and short comings. I will be completely honest with everything I post and will provide the best detail I can.[/SIZE][/SIZE]​

Background
[SIZE="-3"]I have been training seriously since I was 15.5 years old. This was in middle school when I decided that I wanted to PLAY football. I had been on the team since 6th grade but that was it, I was ON the team. I was tired on being on the sidelines and wanted to kick some ass on the field! So that was when I first got into lifting and intense cardio seriously. I noticed great results quickly and then a friend introduced me to creatine and that is where my supplement history begins. During this time I was able to get up to 235 lbs and saw alot of playing time. Once I reached my senior year however I had decided not to continue my career in football at a AAA or AA school and instead chose to attend college at Purdue for academic reasons. With having this decision made I decided that I did not like where I was at weight wise because of a bit of added fat I had and was not happy being "big". It was then, December 2005, I went on my "cut of doom" and started down a very dangerous and unhealthy road. I will say however that it started out great and cut to 180 lbs in a healthy way, but went south from there quickly. Long story short I ended up at an anorexic 135 lbs in January of 2007. I have since then joined this forum, corrected my terrible/unhealthy habits(which I new were bad), and have been making a great transformation for myself ever since.[/SIZE]

Training Schedule

For my bulk I have been running a pyramid style training program(details are below if you aren't sure what that is). I have however decided to change up my routine a bit. I will be switching to a 4 x 8 set/rep range. Also various exercises will be superset and will be noted in my workout for the day. I liked what I saw from this last log and will be continuing this way until the gains start to slow.​

"The idea or pyramiding is so your muscles keep using more weight. The more weight you use the stronger you become, the stronger you become the more weight you can use. The pyramid principle is based on ONE REP MAX (the amount of weight you can perform the exercise with properly one time). Each week you need to increase the amount of weight you use based on your ONE REP MAX for that exercise. The reps go usually from 12/10/8/6/4 with the weight increasing with each set."​

In between each Upper/Lower body pairing I do a light cardio day with HIIT along with stretching with resistance bands and an intense ab circuit. This allows me to get great recovery and shorten my overall recovery time.​

Diet And Nutrition
[SIZE="-3"]This along with my training program is what is going to dictate my successes or failures. I realize the important of a great diet and have spent a long time compiling this diet to reflect how my body reacts and what has worked for me in the past. Basically my diet will revolve around CLEAN foods and more CLEAN foods. I also DO NOT cheat, I have learned, again from past experiences, that the temptation eventually subsides and you are better of in the long run for it. People with disagree with my on my philosophy but that is just my opinion and mindset.

My diet as of now is around 3200 calories but will have to up the calories along the way according to my gains.

Comments And Thoughts
[SIZE="-3"]Solid workout today, the RPM gave me some sick energy for the weight room today. All lifts are at a good spot right now for being able to gauge my progress with this stack. All PR's that come in the future will be with perfect form and motion or they will not be counted as PR's. I will be concentrating on that versus just "throwing" wound heavier weight with terrible form. This is the way I have always been and will be. Back to todays feeling, I felt a pretty good overall pump today and can't wait to see what the future has in store. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of "mentality" but will note on this more in the future as more time has gone by. I will comment on sleep tonight as well, hoping that will continue to go smoothly with the night time dosage.[/SIZE]​

Comments And Thoughts
[SIZE="-3"]Excellent workout, intensity and focus were great. I even had a bit of an "Alpha" mentality going on, placebo at this point possibly but nevertheless was there. I was able to increase on a couple of different lifts which included SLDL's and OLLP's. Both felt great to bump up and I could tell that the extra push was there. Sleep was a bit rough last night, not sure if it had anything to do with the supps or not. The reason I say that is because it was hot as hell out last night and I'm pretty frugal. Thus I wont turn on my AC. So it's much cooler now and will make a better judgment on this tomorrow.[/SIZE]​

Comments And Thoughts
[SIZE="-3"]DOMS this morning surprisingly weren't that bad. I was quite sore after the workout yesterday and was expecting some more added soreness today. The little bit of tightness that I had was worked out easily by the band work and was able to really loosen me up even more. Already looking forward to tomorrows upper body session! The ab circuit went very well also, can definitely feel that I am gaining strength in that area. The hanging raises are proving to be quite effective. Energy today was great as it has been these past few workouts but seems to kick in "harder" now. Can't wait to see if this keeps up, going to make for some sick workouts in the future. On the sleep factor that I brought up yesterday it has appeared to been just the weather. Last night it was nice and cool out and I slept great. I will keep note of this but as for now it seems to not a problem, especially with cooler weather in store.[/SIZE]​

[SIZE="-3"]What a workout! Had great energy throughout the entire workout. I also had the same "Alpha" mentality during my workout that I had experienced before. Very excited about that because it is the same type feeling I had with ActivaTe and loved it. All reps seemed to be getting easier and can tell some nice strength increases are on their way. Today I increased in rows and BB curls. I’m very pleased with that and am hoping for more in the future. MMC is down and all reps are perfect in form even with the increases in weight. Sleep I can say seems to no longer be an issue, once again I had great nights rest.[/SIZE]​

[SIZE="-3"]Pretty good lower body session today. Energy and intensity were there as well was the "Alpha" mentality. After OLLP's and OLLE's the workout went to an entirely different level. Workout just seemed to fly by while nailing all my reps with good form, etc. It's amazing how much all my lifts are just feeling lighter than they were before. While I didn?t set many "new" records today I can tell I am very close however. The pumps during workout are also quite good and very pronounced. No increase in perspiration which is somewhat odd considering the level of intensity that I am experiencing. Libido is going up fairly quickly which is definitely nice. Still no problems with sleep so I can more or less conclusively say that the one night of bad sleep was due to the hot/muggy weather. Nothing else to note on so far.[/SIZE]​

[SIZE="-3"]Good session today, pretty tight in my legs and stretching and cardio(which passed by QUICK!) worked that out well. Other than that DOMS were not a problem and am getting very good recovery. Pull ups felt great today and added more weight to my third set, definitely felt the burn but still nailed all reps. So overall, good session with some nice increases. I'm noticing much more intensity in the gym than the past few workouts, everything seems to be kicking into high gear and working with some great synergy. Also noticing some more acne around my face, I experienced some of this with ActivaTe so I will try the same solution that worked then. Hopefully that'll keep it low. With the acne I'm also having more of the "alpha" feeling outside of the gym as well as in. A good thing but just wanted to make note. Nothing else new.[/SIZE]​

[SIZE="-3"]Very good workout today, most intense day yet on this log. I decided to lift in the morning today and the mix of that and everything kicking in was great. Increased all over the place today and set some nice numbers. The area that I am most pleased with it the wide grip lat pull downs, as I have been somewhat stalled there for a while. Really hoping to get to 100 lbs on standing overheard tricep extensions this week, been on my plate of goals for a while. I feel this is the week though. Curls are feeling very good also and am thinking that some increases will be coming soon as well. Acne has gone down a bit but is still there and noticeable. I'm hoping that with the continued attention I am giving it, it will subside or at least become much less noticeable. One other thing that I want to note on is the "Alpha" feeling. I am having this mentality more and more outside of the weight room, definitely liking it just making note.[/SIZE]​

[SIZE="-3"]Another workout consisting of some more good increases. Energy and intensity were both high and I was able to set a new PR and add some more weight to a few other sets. Really happy with the new PR in OLLE's and is great to see them move up. SLDL's felt pretty good as well and am hoping for to move up there again soon. Everything definitely seems to be kicking in more and more. Along with the "Alpha" feeling around more often libido is increasing more as well. Getting aroused more easily is one of the more noticeable effects. Strength increases are still going(obviously) and am hoping to see some of my areas that are lagging start moving up in the next few weeks. Nothing else new to note on that I can think of.[/SIZE]​

Comments And Thoughts
[SIZE="-3"]Recovery so far has been great, little if any DOMS at all. Some slight tightness in my quads is all that I had today and seemed to have had the past few times. Cardio is going well and is actually becoming less and less of a hassle. The time just fly's by and is making for a very nice and intense session. In addition to the cardio going well I also increased on a set of hanging knee raises. Really feeling the strength gains here and hope they will start to show "visibly", but I’m not holding my breath here. Looking forward to tomorrow’s upper body day and AM going to hit the 100 lbs standing overhead tricep press! Libido is quite high as is the "Alpha/Macho" mentality the combo of both made for a great first day of classes. Too bad I have a GF! Acne is still seeming to be an issue but am still hoping that I can take care of it. Everything else is the same and nothing else new that I can think of.[/SIZE]​

Comments And Thoughts
[SIZE="-3"]HOLLA!!! I hit the 100 lbs PR on standing overhead tricep extensions today. I was only aiming for 6 reps and I ended up pushing out 10! I was pumped as hell afterwards and am extremely happy with the progress I have made thus far. In addition to that PR I also increased wide grip lat pull downs. I'm close to increasing on a few more exercises as well and will hopefully come shortly. Needless to say intensity and energy were both very high during today's workout and have not lagged at all. The only real side that seems to be sticking around is the increased acne. It has gone down a bit and is looking better. I just hope that it'll continue to. Aside from that everything else is going great.[/SIZE]​
