Point of this log: I hope to add about 1 lb a week (hopefuly of muscle). Usually i shoot for .5 lbs a week but im hoping ActivaTe Xtreme will increase my protein synthesis allowing me to put on 1 lb or near it or muscle a week. Also i have been stuck at 270x5 bench for a while. I really would like to break that plateu.
The split:
Upper Power
Lower Power
Off
Chest/Back Hypertrophy
Shoulders/Arms Hypertrophy
Legs Hypertrophy

For upper days i just do mainly compounds, low reps, not too many sets.
For hypertrophy days, i do more sets, more reps, less rest time.
I also do HIIT cardio 2x a week.
Nutrition: I count all my calories. Im sort of obsessed but i guess thats a good thing to be obsessed with. Right now im being trained by Layne and he has me on a 220/470/55 P/C/F on training days but im gonna change it up to about 220/450/65 cause i think i will repond better to that. My off day macros are 220/360/60.
Supplements: During this log i will be taking-
Protein Powder: Bulk protein for supplementing my protein needs, and Giant WPI post workout
WMS: I use this in my post workout shake (immediately post workout, then have full meal 1 hr later)
Dextrose: I use this in my post workout shake (immediately post workout, then have full meal 1 hr later)
Creatine Mono
Fish Oil
Spike: When i need a pick me up, not too often tho.
