End of bottle 1 recap

So far i'm 15 days in on Shred-XS, and bottle one is gone. I've been happy with the results so far. I've lost at least 3-4 pounds in those 15 days, and i'd guess i've converted another 1-2 pounds of fat weight to muscle. The energy support from Shred-XS has been very good, and given the strength gains during the prior 2 weeks i'm also sure its doing a good job of encouraging lipolysis and avoiding catabolism. What I like best about it is that the energy from it is a nice smooth clean crash free energy. With any similar products i've taken in the past there is definitely the noticeable kick in 10-20 min after taking it, and blow out a couple hours later when it wears off. With Shred-XS it seems to be much more of a ramp up, so its hard to pinpoint just when the energy flow starts, and it ends the same way, a nice gradual decline.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the second bottle brings! Also potentially to comparing with Shred-XS-Hardcore, as i'm still a fair ways off from my weight goals (19ish pounds to go).

I'm definitely feeling better now that i'm not killing myself cardio wise. Yesterday was a cardio day, and I just did 30 min on the bike at medium intensity and went home. No craziness in the evening either. I'm at around a 1500-1600 cal a day diet, having increased carbs some. I'm definitely feeling better having given up on the super gung ho crazy loose 3.5 pounds a week plan. I was staying too sore 7 days a week. I think as of today i'm down to around 202, so seeing the downside of 200 may still happen by this weekend. Even if not quite by sunday, it should be during the following week (so before I leave for hawaii for sure).

It will be the first time this millenium i've been under 200

Was 202 on the scale today, so definitely working out well. I would have liked to have lost more than 3 pounds in the last 10 days, but seriously how can I complain about it? Even at the weight i'm at, when I was at adventure island I looked better than more than half the teenagers, and most of the people my own age.

Its sort of sad the fatification of american youth. My sister is a CPT with an associates degree in kinesthesiology, and one of her dreams is to start a non-profit foundation for healthier youth. I can see why, i may end up helping her out with that

quick update, hovering at 202, near the border of 201 this morning, but yesterday was an all solid foods day (only protein shake was early morning pre-workout) so theres probably a bit more sitting in the digestive tract than usual Roasted a 14lb turkey yesterday just for the 4 of us, so i've got plenty of lean protein leftover for the week, but i overate a little, it turned out good . Feeling good, maintaing nice energy levels. Tomorrow is official weighing, I may try to go light in solid foods and heavier in shakes today just cause of that, or at least in the afternoon switch to liquid

Ah well. 202 today. Still continued progress, and that is what counts. It may take longer to hit the 185, but I can live with that, whats important is getting there. So even at just 1.5# a week, I still hit 185 and approx 10% bodyfat by early september. I did overeat on the turkey yesterday again so I dunno, i might be a little lower really. The calipers showed me at 18mm at the suprailliac, down from 21mm when I started the log, just 3 weeks ago. So everything is running along nicely, I'm definitely making solid sustained progress. Its a pity, I wish I hadn't tried to start the CKD, that week really cost me since I couldn't manage to consume enough fat while taking in the volume of protein I needed. That kept me from going into a keto state, which meant I didnt loose anything. Ah well, live and learn.

I'm really looking forward to once I do hit target, and then doing a nice clean slow bulk.

I'm following along Easy. You really seem to worry about things a lot. I have the same problem. You just have to relax. Keep workin hard and you will get where you want to be.

Yeah, I was just trying to hit a certain point for the Body For Life challenge I entered.

So I dont think I will meet the goal I set for the 12 weeks (ending aug 5), but it will be a significant transformation. Thats where my worry part has mostly come from, was really trying to hit the self imposed goal.

for sure! I'm happy with continued progress. For a little while there I was near killing myself trying to raise effort level to meet the goals, and instead started finding myself overtrained, worn out and unmotivated. Now that i've relaxed to a more reasonable level, i'm doing strength training and cardio at a level I can maintain for the rest of my life, and still seeing progress. So i may not be the most impressive 12 week transformation ever, even the name of the thing is "Body for life", not "Body for 12 weeks"

Yesterdays lower body workout was just normal, I pretty much stayed at prior weights for everything.

But today, the scale read 200 when I got on it (well, 200.6, damn digital scales). So maybe sunday's weight was a little high, either way, i'm progressing along! I forgot to take pics on sunday to update my gallery, i'm going to make sure I take some next week in hawaii
