Grape seed extract as an AI log

I have started taking GSE as an AI, I have read its effect is dose dependent, so I am assuming "more is better". But what is the safe maximum dosage?
I have read 300mg twice a day is the typical higher dose. Anyone here take more?

I don't recall anyone ever posting about there success or lack thereof of GSE as an AI. The dosage you mentioned seems to be the standard from what I've read here and there. Please post some results when you get around to doing this as I'm pretty curious.

Will do, so far so good but its gonna be hard to figure out if its a placebo effect or not.

Cool man, thanks. As for figure out the effects I suppose you could always just pay attention to overall body composition, and joint disturbance. Are you running anything else with it?

Actually I have testicular pain which I believe is due to high E2.
I notice ZMA helps abit after using it for 2 days, if I skip a couple days it worsens. I just didnt think GSE would help as much as ZMA, but what I will do is stop the ZMA and use GSE 300mg twice a day on an empty stomach. If pain improves I know its an AI, and I will then add in ZMA and see how it goes from there. I am also on testogel.

The only thing upsetting this little experiment is I am using NOW GSE, each cap contains 100mg GSE(vitis venifera) and 320mg vitamin C and Vit C is another suposed AI.

Pretty interested as well- I am pretty sure it does have these qualities, b/c since I started RPM (which does have a LOT of GSE included)- I have noticed a lot of joint dryness- however, there are several other constituents in RPM that also act as AIs, and another that lowers cortisol, so they could be the culprits as well....

Eitherway, if things go like you stated we'll know the product is working. I wouldn't believe Vit.C exerts that much AI potency anyway.

I really should be having pain right now but I havent really, this pain used to be almost constant and worse in the mornings, its been 4 hours since I applied my testogel and there is a definet improvement using GSE alone apose to ZMA alone. There is still a tiny bit of discomfort so I dont expect it to be a gyno blaster like prescription stuff but I havent felt the pain go away this much except for when I did a 50mg shot of test enanthate inbetween andriol and testogel. I am assuming this stuff is a lot better than ZMA but I cant confirm it for another few days.

I have to say this stuff is great, tommorow I am gonna add ZMA back in and see how it goes. I think it would work better at more frequent dosage of GSE though such as 300mg three times a day.

Happy to say that there is definetly a stack effect.
If I had to compare a standard dose of ZMA vs 600mg GSE and 2grams vitamin C. I would haveto say the latter is slightly more effective.

Can you elaborate a little more on what you are noticing?

I definetly feel better overall in terms of wellbeing.
But the main thing is I dont catch myself with discomfort when I wake up or after I apply testogel, or randomly feeling any discomfort during the day.

With no ZMA and no GSE the pain and discomfort was really giving me the ****s. With ZMA alone it made things more bearable.
But with ZMA and GSE together I havent even been thinking about it. The only pain I have had is when I had to run through the rain last night but even then I had alcohol in me and I was due for my 2nd GSE dosage, apart from that the discomfort is to the point where it is ignorable now.

i've always taken grape seed extract just for it's antioxidant properties. i had no idea that it acted as an AI as well:blink:
Does anyone know if using grape seed oil is supposed to have similar AI or anti-oxidant effects? I'm doing a CKD diet, and could add a few tablespoons of grapeseed oil to the diet (since I have it here for cooking anyhow).

Probably get some AO properties from the oil, but I wouldn't think it would be at the strength of standard 90-95% OPC supplementation.

Grape Seed Oils:
Another way to get antioxidants from grape seed is with grape seed oil . Grape seed oil is an amazing cooking oil for many reasons. For one, it contains high numbers of antioxidants. Unlike most antioxidant-containing oils, like olive oil, it can be heated to a very high temperature before losing its antioxidant properties-up to 485 degrees.

It also has a lighter taste than olive oil, so it can be used as a salad dressing or a marinade without adding an overpowering flavor. Not only that, it takes about half the amount of grape seed oil to do the same as other oils.

Grape seed oil has many of the same health benefits as olive oil, including lowering the bad LDL cholesterol without changing the good HDL cholesterol, and contains vitamin E and omega 6 essential fatty acids.

considering that my total oils intake yesterday was over 1/4 cup, I think I could end up making up for the weakness :D CKD is rough to start up on.

Not as much acne as I would expect like with ZMA.

I actually had to stop taking ZMA because I got a skin rash cause I wasnt taking anything else with it, probly a vitamin E or vitamin A deficiency. I am gonna start it up again tommorow as I am fresh out of GSE and the rash has gone away. It sorta looked like eczema.

I still think the it would be a lot better to be used at a higher dose which I am gonna try once I get my hands on some more.

I came across this which is pretty detailed, they seem very confident it is an AI.
