| Registered User | IntraXcell: Extreme Muscular Size, Strength, & Endurance The World’s First Beta-Alanine, Carnosine Boosting Formula In Convenient Capsule Form! Boost Strength And Increase Lean Muscle Gains With IntraXCell! Athletic Edge Nutrition, The Nutrient Timing Specialists, is pleased to introduce IntraXCell, the biggest scientific breakthrough in physique enhancement and athletic performance since creatine. We have scientifically formulated precise doses of four key ingredients to create a product that will work synergistically to increase intramuscular Carnosine and Glutathione levels, which boosts strength, lean muscle mass and fights muscular fatigue at the cellular level. The Result: Explosive Strength and Endurance, forcing lean muscle gains, physique improvements and muscular GROWTH! IntraXCell Is Scientifically Formulated To: * Boost Explosive Muscular Strength and Endurance, Forcing Lean Muscle Gains. * Increase Intracellular Carnosine Levels and Fight Muscular Fatigue & Metabolic Acidosis. * Extreme Muscle Fullness and Vascularity. * Naturally Boost the Power Antioxidant Glutathione and Fight Cellular Fatigue. History Is About To Be Made Once Again! Until now, creatine, with numerous research studies to support its effectiveness, was the leading supplement for improving exercise and muscular performance. Since creatine exploded into the sports nutrition world in the early 90's, our understanding of exercise physiology and sports nutrition has evolved exponentially. Exciting new research has given rise to another breakthrough; one that could change the direction of the industry like creatine did so many years ago. Boost Strength & Lean Muscle Gains! When you exercise or train at a high intensity, your muscles increase their production of hydrogen ions (H+) which lowers muscular pH, making them more acidic. This increase in muscular acidity (also called metabolic acidosis) directly interferes with muscular contraction, energy (ATP) production and increases fatigue, all factors that cause your performance to plummet. While muscle acidity has certainly proven to decrease strength and contribute to muscular fatigue, new research is now showing that exercise-induced intracellular free radical production is another source of muscular fatigue. The combination of muscular acidity and increased free radical production greatly diminishes your performance during exercise, stopping your workouts cold and interfering with lean muscle gains. Fortunately, Athletic Edge Nutrition has developed a tool you can use to combat intracellular acidity and free radical production, pushing your performance, physique and results to the next level. IntraXCell works to boosts strength, fight cellular fatigue and increase lean muscle gains in two ways: 1. Contains research supported Beta-Alanine, which effectively boosts intramuscular carnosine levels, which works to fight/buffer fatigue-causing Hydrogen Ions, allowing for extreme muscular strength, power and endurance. 2. Increases production of the power antioxidant glutathione with N-acetyl-cystine (NAC) and Alpha-Lipoic Acid. Glutathione is a power antioxidant in your muscle cells that can improve exercise performance by preventing damaging free radicals than can cause cellular fatigue. | Registered User | Many thanks to the AEN guys for the chance to test drive the product AND for the SteelEdge Samples they included, for which I'll write-up a separate review. Ok so my log won't start proper until tomorrow night my time. I had planned to train tonight, but I didn't get much sleep yesterday. However, I did take a serving with tonight's dinner and DEF got the tingly feeling all over me, specially on the soles of my feet. Stats (will be upated tomorrow night) Age:33 Height:1.70cm (5'7) Weight:70kg (154lbs) Diet - Nothing drastic, I didn't balloon up after my last meet, so I don't have to much to lose, and will just taper the carbs off some. Other supps - I will only be using protein isolate and concentrate, and creatine mono, although I may stop this due to water retention. Training experience - Approx 7 years, mostly focused on strength training/powerlifting. Have mostly followed Bill Starr's training philosophy over the last few years and in this cycle I have been using the Ed Coan deadlift routine to good effect. I train 3xper week, and do sprint sessions usually 1-2xper week. Goal whilst testing IntraXcell (IXL) - I have an important powerlifting meet coming up and have to get down to the 67.5kg class, WITHOUT losing strength. I hope IXL can help with this as I ramp up the weights in the final weeks. Ideally I would have received IXL a couple of weeks ago, but I hope it can stll help nevertheless, in terms of endurance, recovery and maintaining strength. Best lifts Squat - 185kg (407lbs) x1 (wraps and belt only) Deadlift - 207.5kg (456.5lbs) x1 (belt only) Bench - 111.5kg (245lbs) (belt only) Overhead Press - 91kg (200lbs) x1 (belt only) Chins - BW + 40kg (88lbs) x1 The Bench is my weakest lift, and if I had it my way it would be dropped for a real man's lift, the Overhead Press...anyways So, my log will relate directly to how IXL influences my preparation to the meet, so I will be watching carefully for any changes. | Registered User | Okey dokey, here's the first proper entry for this log. Today was training day, which meant... Heavy bench (well for me anyways) Heavy deadlift Quarter squats (these are done for overload purposes, a couple of days before doign heavy squat day) I'm only 2 weeks away from my meet, so things are getting close to maximums. To add to that, I only wore my Titan bench to for the first time today - I've never worn one before, and to top it all off, it's a bit big. But I'll still get some leverage out of it. I have used IXL with meals the last couple of days, but other than the tingles nothing else of note. Despite the level of intensity in training today, strength was very good, particularly on the deadlift. I worked up to 195kg for 2x1 and felt good. Next week will be my last deadlift day and I will go for about 205kg. After training and I felt good and don't feel like I've been beat up. I will be paying close attention to how I feel when I get up tomorrow AM. Asessesment so far: I was surprised by strength levels today, PARTICULARLY since before going off to training I felt VERY tired for some reason, and had actually thought I was coming down with something, and thought of skipping training. Instead it all went really well. I next train Monday, Tuesday and then Saturday and either Friday or Sunday. Thursday night I'm off to see the Chili Peppers - I've been into them since I was 14, that's 20 years ago!) My first meet, which was a grading (IPF affiliated) was a couple of months back, and it was a mixed result Squat - I got the head ref from hell! I kept getting 1 green and 2 reds, so I never got to move beyond my opening weight! Last lift got failed even though I went as low as I physically could!!!!!! And it's on tape! And the other to attempts were also below paralell. But he and his also ref wife kept copying each other. Bench - I kept moving my feet, so I bombed out on all 3 attempts. Deadlift - Everyone was impressed here. Got to my last and couldn't lock out. I was holding it there for ages, and screaming like a nut. Little did I know that I was almost locked out - something I didn't realize. Even thought I didn'[t get it, everyone said it was the best thing I'd done all day, due to the max effort I put in. But guess what? Looks like the ref screwed up and passed it in! lol Further assesment - Despite yesterday's effort, I woke up pretty well today and despite only getting 5hrs sleep, as I was reading a book. So recovery was very good. And it lasted all day, which was a long and tiring one...1hr drive out of Sydney to a corporate event, to watch a game of polo between Australia and Chile (this is a first for me); of course it was all paid for (including for our friends), as I'm the client (gosh I luv the perks). But our car's gear box blew up 100m away, so I had to wait for the car to be towed, whilst the wife and kids and friends all went of to the corporate entertainment. I made up for it later when I go tthere. Assistant Editor - Mind & Muscle Magazine "Get some, get some, get some...and go again!" - Henry Rollins | |
