I got my tub yesterday, leg day. :squat:
I took 2 days off, which I don't do too frequently, but I felt I needed it. Only problem was that on those days off, I didn't eat nearly as much carbs/protein/total calories as I usually do/should. So I was driving from school to meet my brother at his house, and leave to the gym from there. I didn't really feel all that great, and I already had made up my mind in my head that I would train legs, but not squat. Just because I didn't really feel like it.
So I get to his house, and he tells me "Your stuff came." I turn around and see on the table the jug of ! Just the sight of it brought back my motivation to squat.
So I get to the gym about 30 minutes after drinking 1 serving. I finish my warmup and load the bar with 265, aiming for 12. I try to add 10lbs each week for 12 reps, it's been going pretty smooth, it took me 2 weeks for the jump from 245->255 though. So anyway...
The SMASH! gives this awesome focus, or ZONED feeling for me during my sets. It's hard to explain, but each rep just feels awesome. The weight felt like a load of bricks, but I hit the set (265X12 up from 255X12 last week). I usually only do 1 set of squats, but I decided to kick my own ass a bit more, and did 2 more sets (225X10, 2 sets). Finished up with 1 set of leg extensions RACK X 9, and lying leg curls RACK X 12. I always train legs with low volume.
Anyway that was my first workout on the SMASH! since the sample packet a few weeks ago. I'll be using it again tomorrow for back.
