This log will represent both my experience (light) just for pre-sleep, and more importantly from my wife who suffers from migraines, and sciatica pain. She has expressed a keen interest in trying this, and I am equally eager to get her feedback.

Thank you Milehighkratom and Montego1 for this unique opportunity!

Lol, I wish. It is Mike Mentzer - the guy who 's theories I base a lot of my own training thought on.

HIT = High Intensity Training....Mentzer was a proponent if this and expanded on Arthur Jones' ideas. Mentzer also is the reason Arnold competed in the 80 Olympia....they had a bit of a heated argument going between them at the time. Mentzer was a beast.

I jumped from 1cap (not noticable) to 3 caps (nice effect). Today I'm trying 2 caps. Hope it works well for you.

My parents could have had a better last weeks of their lives. Both passed away from cancer.
I have a deep interest in this product and others to alleviate pain and suffering.

Much of the medicines provided had worse sides than the cancer. Morphine for example caused my mother to have severe constipation, though it relaxed her, she couldn't eat because she had such horrid constipation! What's the effing use of being comfortable and pain free if you can't eat and maintain your strength to fight the cancer?

I think this product would help many people, with all sorts of life's issues, including cancer.

Yes, I don't want to derail - but Mike left this community A LOT of theories and knowledge that people have fought tooth and nail for years, but since his passing, many of the new theories in the past 15 years have actually been very similar to what he put out there, maybe with slight twists. I mean, High Intensity Intervals have become huge and they basically postulate the same thing in a cardiovascular setting.

I see it now couldn't blow it up on this crap tablet. Should of noticed the porn star mustache. He is on my all time top 10 list for sure.
LMAO - the porn star stache. You are right, who else could pull that off? Elliot Hulse said that MM just looked like he could f' sh!t up. And that describes it perfectly. And that's how I eventually want to look - just like I can get in there and F' sh1t up.

Sorry to hear about your parents. That is really crappy.

I DO think the entire "medical marijuana" thing is a bit over played. It has more side effects than people realize, has been shown to have a permanent impact on cognitive function, and probably isn't as good at killing pain as people think. I DO think it is probably relaxing, which helps people deal with pain better. And I also think there is strong placebo with it. But given the opioid crisis that we have in modern pain management, it's worth trying - especially CBD, since a lot of the side effects aren't present with CBD.

If you have older family members though, CBD isn't appropriate for pain management in many instances - especially if they are on any blood thinners.

I can tell you've never smoked it lol. I both agree and disagree. I have family members with scoliosis and deteriorating disc (vertebrae is basically cartilage) who have been on Oxy and Morphine for as long as I can remember.

They can still barely function because they're still in pain even after the meds. But they've started the medicinal and can function fully in no pain. Some days they don't even need the opiates.

Yes, there are a lot of reports like this out there, which make it interesting for pain management. It is far from scientific though. Unfortunately, pain is an interesting issue for "placebo" because...really...pain itself doesn't have a physical component per se. It's almost entirely in your head to begin with, so the chance for something to work simply because you believe it works is strong in this case. But, in the end, who really cares? If they are happy, great.

And no, I've never smoked it. Never had any interest. I have plenty of friends who have smoked it at all kinds of levels - many of which confirm the neurological issues found in studies. Even with all that, I'm not against anyone using it. It's just become one of those topics like politics for some reason. All drugs have upsides and downsides and drugs themselves aren't bad - they can be tools when used correctly.

We can always flip the coin and say that it's not legal because pharma companies will have trouble monopolizing the market, so they have resisted its use in favor of more profitable drugs, like opioids. There are all kinds of angles on this.

I've received feedback from a member, and agree, since I am logging PEAK 02, it would be more respectful if I began my official log of this product after that has finished.

Until then however (1 week from now), my wife has had an opportunity and need to take two capsules last evening as she was suffering from a severe migraine. It was so hard to break, even a powerful narcotic (Dilauded) failed to help her for more than 1 hour. She took two caps, and in less than 45 minutes, she was relaxed, and slept well. Waking without nausea.

I think this is going to be far better than any narcotic. The heck with that. If this (CBD) helps, I think we won't ever have to resort to the doctor's visit ($20) and then the time it took to deal with it all. I had to leave work, so 2 hours there. That covers the cost of CBD. (A bottle).

I think you can tell I'm not a big fan of big pharma.

I'm going to call this product a win, right now! and look forward to starting my own experience next week on my return from Chicago.

Stay tuned! Same Bat Channel, Same Bat Station!

All this talk of bad backs and migraines has really peeked my interest. Chronic back pain is something I've got under control by getting into better shape. But holy crap, if I can kick the muscle relaxer and anti inflammatory prescriptions (and trigger point injections) with this, I'd be one happy camper! Plus I have 1-2 migraines a year (down from one a month or so) but I'd love to have something that helps with that too. What a strong testimonial right there from justhere4comm's wife!

Definitely. I would get some and try it out. I've been thinking of Kratom as well or a supplement that contains it, like "Dream and Grow", at least until it is banned.

I think this (CBD) will help my back as well, but you're right, with increasing fitness, one can help along the process a great deal. I was incredibly out of shape when I hurt it last year, and the recovery was no bueno, I had to take this on myself and push hard. I don't think I can get hurt like that again. I hope it helps you!

I think it is a godsend for my wife and her headaches, along with that daily stress at the hospital.

The kratom didn't do jack crap for me. I bought DNG and it did absolutely nothing for me. My body is so weird though. I went through about 6 different muscle relaxers before one worked. And a few anti inflammatory too. Seems like it took a bit longer for the PH to hit compared to other people too. I think my body just likes screwing with me.

I can't take any of those muscle relaxers. No effect really, and never tried Kratom... considering Dream n' Grow for it's multi purpose with Kratom, and or just Kratom from MHK. After this log, I think I will definitely consider it. Hopefully it won't be banned by then.

My wife dosed 1 cap yesterday evening and it helped her to relax and fall asleep after the onset of what she was concerned may have been another migraine but it wasn't. Just a slight headache. This is really great for her, and I look forward to giving it a try myself, though sleeping is not a problem with me, sometimes relaxing right after work is. (Stressful job at times).

So far, this is a quality supplement, and it's great to have a double entry of experience here.

The one muscle relaxer I found to work actually worked too well. I couldn't pee after taking it. Then they gave me the same stuff in extended release form and I'm good now. Thanks only prob is it's name brand. Price is over $1100/month. Of course the manufacturer has a coupon for $15 total. Crazy.

Going to have to pick some of the CBD up now that you've sold me on it. Between inflammation and sciatica, I have trouble sleeping deeply. Wake up every couple hours. Might help there too I guess.

I've got to get her to comment on the sciatica, but it did relax her, and it was an easy slow relaxation, not sudden as if one is feeling drugged. I like that a lot, and hope it gives you the same if not more of a response. Let me know how it works for you.

Another observation my wife related to me regarding her taking the CBD last evening. She usually suffered from some kind of anxiousness, wether related to her sciatica, or related to her other medication, she normally has to take something to sleep. She didn't have to do that this time, and only the CBD was necessary to relax her enough to fall asleep.

This is really great for her. Probably going to be ordering some more while the discount is in effect tomorrow.

Just picked some up for my girl. Kratom has helped get immensely. Like nothing short of a shot of Dilaudid at the ER. I'm hoping the cbd is going to complete the set because those migraine meds are expensive. $100 a month with insurance. And they're crazy chems. Look up iparimine (spelling?) It hits like a dozen receptors and they don't really know what hitting some of them does. These are plants were talking about!!!

I'll post back on your log comm if you don't mind when she's tried it out. We're hoping it can take the place of the med she takes when she starts feeling one come on, and/or the barbiturates for the same purpose.

What about Flexeril? Does it not do it for you man? That stuff kicks my butt. I can't even stay up on it. I turn into butter on a hot stove. Somas always sucked. Never had anything else other than a xanny, but that's kinda out of the spectrum.
