This PWO has a pretty good profile of ingredients and is stimulant heavy - just the way I like it. Let's see how this older lifter's body responds.

Other supplements I'll be taking:
iForce Joint Help, Amino IV BCAA, Glucosamine, Multivitamin and Fish Oil.

As of now here are my stats:
Height 5'6". Weight 157 lbs Age 54

Max Lifts Starting (actual)
Bench: 195 lbs
Squat: 185
BB Deadlift: 315
Machine Shoulder Press: 105

Workouts:
All my workouts are on a daily basis in my garage gym. They are generally 1 to 1.5 hours long and utilize combinations of an Ironmaster machine and free-weights:

Currently I've just switched from a One Lift A Day (OLAD) to Sheiko. I'm at Intermediate Medium Load status. I use a HR monitor to time when my HR returns to a point that I can begin the next set.

Feel free to post anything you'd like to motivate or make me do my best. If my weights for any lift seem "off" it might be due to incorrect form. Don't flame me (PM me instead) as I'm still learning. Welcome to my log!

Final Review:

So, all good things must come to an end. Thanks to Dynamic Formulas for allowing me to try their PWO called Formula 1. Also a hearty thank you to everyone that followed my log.

Summary of Formula 1 (Details Below Summary)
1) Mixes and tastes good
2) No HR, BP, jitters, stim dck or crash. Lasts about 2 hours.
3) Good focus and mood effects. Even though I came down with back issues and a bad cold, this PWO's synephrine allowed me to power through and set a few PRs.
4) The only complaint is the amount of blue dye. This can be severely reduced.


Week 1:
A) Mixes well
B) Tastes good in 10 oz water at one scoop
C) The stim effect at 1.25 scoop remains perfect for me Increasing has negative stomach effects.
D) I'm stim insensitive and this lasts about 2 hours.
E) I work out fasted and the BA tingles hit in 15 mins.
F) The heart rate was never increased above my normal lifting ranges. Taking this before cardio also has no negative effects on HR. No jitters or other bad feelings.
G) No stim dck issues.
H) No crash.

Week2:
I) Noticing mood enhancement this week.
J) Have a major cold going on and this helped me get through the workouts.

Week3:
K) Dosed to 1.5 scoops but dropped back to 1.25 as this is my sweet spot.
L) Clarity and smooth energy.
M) Only negative is there is too much blue dye in the mix. There is no need for it and I recommend reducing it.

Week 4:
N) The synephrine in this PWO never failed to open my sinuses and allow me to breathe freely for my workouts.

My flavor is Blue Raspberry, mixed one scoop with 10 oz of water. It mixed well with no undissolved solids. The taste is good, not too sweet and no aftertaste. Let's give it a run with my first workout...

Lifting session was about 2.5 hours due to it being ZERO degrees this morning!! The bars were so cold!!

First thoughts on Formula 1:
A) mixes well
B) tastes good in 10 oz water
C) stim effect at one scoop was perfect for this stim lover.
D) Took it 5 hours ago and it's still working.
E) I workout fasted and the BA tingles hit in 15 mins.
F) the heart rate was never increased above my normal lifting ranges. Will check BP tomorrow.

So far so good.

DQ Life is like a grindstone. Whether it grinds us down or polishes us up is our choice.

Thanks for joining in brother! You got me, I meant to remove the 1RM from that list. I was trying to list only actual max lifts. The edit feature here on AM causes all the text to be garbled. Anyways, fixed it. Lol

Oh there's heat in the garage but no insulation. It's so cold the heater couldn't keep up.

Following Sheiko's methods and at this time I'm still in prep mode. I'm sure the heavy lifts are coming!

Took 1.5 scoops of Formula 1 PWO this morning so I can see if dosing changes effects.

My right oblique is sore and it's interfering with my workout. I completed everything in this session except the good mornings.

Back and obliques are killing me today. I took this off day to stretch and foam roll. This is the first time I've been serious about foam rolling and it hurt like hell!

I used a YouTube video but found so many on the website. Anybody have a recommended foam rolling routine or video?

Thanks BigT for asking. The 1.5 scoops was not a good thing. Stomach was a little upset and the stim effect was not improved. I really don't recommend going above 1 scoop.

My back is still hurting so I'm shying away from my regular program. I don't take pain killers or other OTC drugs but broke down and took an Advil tablet. That really helped.

Weird back issue! It's much better but keeps getting taught. I'm rolling and stretching and avoiding bending lifts.

Formula 1 is still giving me the energy to lift but I'm already immune to the stims. This is what happens when you use PWOs for extended time periods.

DQ It's not how far you fall, it's about how high you can bounce.

Today I concentrated on the chest and avoided lower body movements.

Sticking with 1.25 scoops of Formula 1 for workout energy and no stomach issues.

Moved up my dose of Formula 1 to 1.25 scoops and this is my sweet spot!

With the back still feeling bad all I can muster is some cardio today. My speed bag and shoulder muscles had an argument this morning!

Heavy bag and speed bag work are both great for warm ups and cardio workouts. So much better than boring treadmill or stairclimber work!
