You may be familiar with the OG DCP that was available a few years back. I ran that at the time & had great luck with it.

I'm a 37 y/o powerlifter in Aurora, CO. I'm currently using Brandon Lilly's Cube Method to prepare for the Centennial Open PL meet on 8/17.

In ADDITION to that, I've decided to take on the challenge of concurrently preparing to take a crack at the men's physique class at The Rocky here in Denver in November.

I guess we'll see-I'm pretty f.cking fat right now. I'm currently ~295 @ 6'2", probably 30% bf...hence my need for a little fat burning boost!

My diet will be done by Ken "Skip" Hill all the way into November. The only other supplements I use are PeakBeta+, SuperCissus, TN's TeamSkip protein and TN's nDure. I'm awaiting a couple other "pick me up" supps to help me focus, and I'll include those as soon as I start using them.

I'll get pics tonight when the wife gets home. My logs are VERY vid-heavy, as I'm a total skeptic about logs, numbers and lifts, so I like there to be no question about where I'm at.

I also track macros, but may not post those now that this is considered "prep" with Skip, since the info is proprietary to him, but I'll check. A lot of his diet stuff is out there already (skiploads, PWO sugar bombs, etc), but I'm not stepping on his toes.

Lets f.ckin do it.

def a power eater here, I swore off the booze a long time ago though. so that means I have more room for cake

Curious, as another tall lifter, what stance do you use when you pull?
Sumo. I've got t-Rex arms and a long torso so bar travel with convos is a mile.

I do convos as an accessory sometimes because it carries over so well though.

Nice. Pulled convo for years, but switched to sumo after an injury so my freakishly-long torso could stay more upright. Still can't pull as much as I used to, but gettin' there.

Same; pulled convo for a long time until I herniated a bunch of disks, had a bunch of surgeries and had to start over.

Sumo hurts my busted up back exactly zero. Hip mobility is still an issue.

Today was brutal. I decided (at the urging of the gym owner) to switch back to convo. He watched 4 sets of 3, I videoed 5 or 6, and did 1 or 2 more at a lighter weight. I'd say all told I did 65-70 reps of convo DL. My hammies are toast, but it feels good.

Mobility, stretch, warm up 15'

CONVO DL
135, 135, 185, 225, 275, 315
335x3x a bunch. 10 I think.

4" SNATCH GRIP BLOCK PULL

SSB CG squat x8x3
BB Shrug x12x4

I like my logs to be credible. I could toss around a bunch of bull**** numbers (which I see a lot) to try and impress, but WTF is the point?

It is a disservice to AM, sponsors (if they're involved in a product log), and to readers.

/rant. :D

very true! I occasionally post vids if I happen to do one of a PR attempt that I'm particularly proud of.

I only take vids to assess form, which is why I only have em for the main lift. But if I've got em, might as well post em.

Honestly it's for feedback from more advanced lifters.

But I curled 315 yesterday...for realz! :)

lol, I squatted a school bus the other day. it was mostly empty though so it doesn't count

So far; increased heat in the gym. Feels like I get up to sweaty temp quick, and when I was done today sweat was dripping off the bill of my hat. Saturated.

Appetite-I'm about 6 hours post workout, and I usually smash a dozen eggs (4 whole, 8 whites) right now EASY. I got through them, but man it was tough. I feel "satiated" all day.

No pain at all. I'm pretty weak from not doing these forever; I used to incline more than I flat benched by about 45#. Back in the day.

INCLINE DB TWIST PRESS
50x12x3
Sick pump but these hurt. Started with 80's. no bueno.

BW DIPS
BWx15x3
These didn't hurt as much as I just felt unstable.

Bunch of curls & tricep stuff, BB style. Also did a couple sets of Meadows rows just to try em. Those ****ers are AWESOME.

Overall it was a good session all things considered. Shoulder is sore, but not unbearably so.

30' LISS treadmill.

Started the week @ 298, 289 dry this morning.

I refeed on Sundays, so I'm dropping water off-I was 286 last week pre Skipload, so I hope to be 284-285 by Sunday AM.

298-289 is a lot of water
when I go on a Ben & Jerry's bender I can swell up 10 lbs in a day and lose it in 3. I can accurately judge my water retention by how deep the ring around my ankle left by my socks is

If I'm depleted enough, I'll get +3 pitting edema in my calves/ankles for the first few Skipload hours. Then I get all veiny & full and it's awesome.

I hate the edema. Sooooo itchy and feels weird to squat or kneel

I can sometimes feel my legs "slosh" when I walk. That's a solid deplete/refeed.
