    Thank You to Palmfist and FinaFlex for the opportunity to log their new Apple Fusion BCAA/SAA.

    I will most likely be taking this pre or post workout dut to the fact that I always get nauseous if I drink anything remotely sweet during my workouts. Not sure why, I just do. That being said I will be dropping my taurine as this product provides it. I am on cycle right now so we'll see if it keeps the pumps at bay I am not a man of many words but will do my best to put some detail into this on a 1 through 5 scale. I have never used SAA's so I will have to do some reading to see what they are all about.

    initial thoughts....
    It smells fantastic and is very fine powder as you would expect a BCAA to be. The serving size is relatively small compared to some other BCAA's I have used which is a bonus in my book! The taste is absolutely fabulous! The last BCAA I used was horrid tasting even though it is from a very popular company. This is definitely a "drink whenever you please" taste!!! My initial scale for today will be small and will increase as I put this through some paces, so for today.....

    packaging 5/5 (i personally think ost FinaFlex products look badazz)
    smell 5/5 (Some people don't care about smell but I do)
    taste 5/(like green apple limeaid almost, sweet but no overpowering and definitely not the dull after taste some others have)
    mixability 3.5/5 (good vigourus shaking and there is still some thatr settles to the bottom. to be fair this happens with most BCAA's I have used)
    serving size 5/5 (small serving size but still pakcs a punch, quality over quantity)

    I love it! Cool thing is I take it intra and it can be almost empty and I put more water in it and it still tastes great. Doesn't seem to water down very bad at all.

    Good point, I've noticed that with all the flavors but this one tastes so good I notice it more...

    Family stuff still taking priority, though i did have get a small workout in last night and managed to drink the Apple Fusion Intra with no problems. Granted i mixed it into a liter of water but even still the taste was bomb.

    The family stuff is medical issues w/ my daughter and have me pretty stressed so updates on my threads are slow at the moment.

    ok, i'm back....

    I have actually been taking the Apple Fusion intra just mixing it with more water to tone down teh sweetness just a bit and that helps. Even though I am mixing it with a liter of water it stilltastes bomb. ( think I mentioned that before) Hyrdation is great and there are no pumps really to speak of which is amazing! Loving this stuff.

    On another note the daughter is still having issues and we have more med appts coming up. Thank You for the thoughs and prayers!

    Your absolutely right snags, let me be more clear. I notice that I am not drinking as much water intra but continue to anyhow. 1st 30mins of my workout and i usually have my 24oz of water done and onto my second. Now it takes longer to make it through the 1st 24oz. I will look over at it and think, "man I haven't had alot to drink so far" and start pounding it.

    Overall just don't have that "i'm thirsty" feeling.

    Ok so this stuff is bomb! I am able to drink it intra with no issues. This is a first for me because i usually get nauseous with anything remotely sweet or sweet tasting. I am not sure what makes Apple Fusion different but i am not complaining. I will say that i am mixing it with at least 24oz of water which helps too.

    Abstract
    The effects of a silk amino acid (SAA) preparation on the physical stamina and male reproductive function of mice were investigated. Eight-week-old male ICR mice (29-31 g) were orally administered SAA (50, 160 or 500 mg/kg) for 44 d during 30-min daily swimming exercise. The mice were subjected to a weight-loaded (5% of body weight) forced swimming on the 14th, 28th and 42nd day to determine maximum swimming time, and after a 2-d recovery period (treated with SAA without swimming exercise), parameters related to fatigue and reproductive function were analyzed from blood, muscles and reproductive organs. Repeated swimming exercise increased the maximum swimming time to some extent, in spite of a marked reduction in body weight gain, and SAA further enhanced the stamina in a dose-dependent manner. Forced swimming exercises increased blood parameters of tissue injury, but depleted blood glucose and tissue glycogen, which were substantially prevented by SAA treatment. In addition, SAA significantly reduced the muscular thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances and blood corticosterone content increased by forced swimming. Swimming exercise decreased the blood testosterone level, which was recovered by SAA, leading to enhanced sperm counts. These combined results indicate that SAA not only enhances physical stamina by minimizing damage to tissues, including muscles, as well as preventing energy depletion caused by swimming stress, but also improves male reproductive function by increasing testosterone and sperm counts.

    thanks, I was smoked afterwards though. I am not sure my CNS can handle supersets like this very often since I am not on cycle now. I might have to tone it down a bit so I don't burn myself out. I am still trying to lift like I am on, but that is the point during PCT right?


    on the 26th I hit arms and thrashed em pretty good. Dom's are starting to come back which is nice and sucks at the same time. Last night I did legs superset with shoulder work and was toast at the end. My endurance has fallin off big time, which I expected but still. I already miss my cycle and wish I could have finished it out as I was killing it. Next week would have been my last wk on..........sigh. I am still rocking Apple Fusion intra workout and loving it. quite frankly as I said before this is now going to be a staple for me. This one of the best tasting BCAA's I have tried and, oh yea, as a bonus has SAA's...which my previous BCAA supp did not.

    Ciompound super sets are Brutal the trick is to lower the total number of sets or just do one combo say 7 times and go home. It's still fuggin awful though.

    Precisely what has already been recommended. On cycle lots of volume and intensity, in PCT lower volume at same intensity or greater. YOu want to challenge the muscle fiber with the same strength requirements but less volume since recovery is going to be hampered a bit in PCT.

    we are unique in not only including SAAs, but those are GENUINE silk aminos as well (not synthetic, which is incomplete amino chain) - that point cannot be stressed enough

    Pretty good chest and back yesterday.... Strength has come down some but overall i am miles from where i was pre-cycle. After some advice I am dropping some sets but trying to keep the weight up.
    Incline
    205x10
    215x10
    225x8
    235x7
    245x4 followed with 135 to exhaustion ( slow and squeeze )
    Standing t-bar rows
    100x12
    110x12
    120x10
    130x8
    140x6 followed with 100 to exhaustion ( speed and explosive )
    Flat fly "ss" upright dips
    35x10 "ss" bwx14 3sets
    Hammer lat pull down
    110 ( each arm ) x12 x3sets
    Band chest press
    Red band x14x3sets

    Incline walk for 152cals

    Never going to keep 100% but you are doing an awesome job holding on to the strength for the most part buddy. How are the DOMS and recovery lately with the BCAA+SAA so far?

    Apple Fusion is keep those DOMS to a minimal bro! Outstanding recovery, maybe sore for a day at most and not near what it was pre-cycle for as hard as i am still lifting. Recovery at this point 4 out of 5.

    I and doing 7 sets on quads and 7 sets on hams then 7 Fst sets on top of that for each after walking 5 K to the gym. I take a heaping scoop during and one about 2 hours later. The only doms I have experienced was the first week and I am about to turn 55 in July. Nuff Said.

    Did I mention I love me some Apple Fusion! One of the few amino drinks I will actually just put in water by itself. Often with others I mix half sugar free coolaid type mix into them.
