  10. Day 8: off day today. Strained a hip flexor / a bit lower than that on the side somehow yesterday. Either from elliptical or sex lol! It's always been bothering me and is tough for me to stretch. Rather than injure it more, I rested today and will hit quads tomorrow. I spent the day wiring my home theater equipment and running some errands for my wedding. My woman works tomorrow afternoon til late so I wanted to spend time with her tonight, seeing as how I won't see her at all tomorrow. Actual fitness update coming tomorrow!

  20. bigt, was originally going to go that route with "broggins." NICE!

    Brocky Balbroa.

  21. Day 9:

    Seated leg press:
    450/10, 540/10, 630/10, 590/10, 540/10
--did a bit more weight on the back half of the routine, so definite strength increase.

    Ground base squat:
    270/8, 320/6, 320/5
--not as much weight (no 360 lbs) but more reps. Forgot to add taurine to my mix; I always do on leg day to avoid the lower back pump I started to feel on this exercise!

    Hex bar deadlifts:
    245/5, 275/5, 295/3, 225/8
--a few more reps on this exercise. Knee felt a bit tweaked and didn't want to push it too hard at this point.

Learned my lesson from last leg day and dropped Gameday to a half a scoop, otherwise I probably would have tweaked out!

I seem to be down a couple pounds in weight, and a bit leaner.

  26. If I can get past some flexibility and joint creakiness, maybe I can do 700 one day (for multiple reps). Some more traditional exercises are difficult for me like the barbell squat, so I try to use machines that keep me in a safe position without totally isolating a main muscle and neglecting supporting ones.

smart to use machines for squats, much safer, imo.

  34. Tomorrow's a carb up day so I won't be nearly as worried about looking bloated! Think by now the effects will make me look full, not doughy after a carb heavy day.

been noticing this effect myself since I started running the same stack. I've always tolerated carbs well, but seem to be fuller and tighter during my recomposition phase
