Okay this shoulder workout was no focking joke!

    Fri 1-18-13

    Warmup

My chest is still sore so I did steep incline DB presses to get the blood flowing

    DB press
    3x14/14/12

    Side lateral partials
    4x35x35x29x27

    Rev peck deck
    3x35/33/30

Rear delt incl bench destroyer set
    1x60/30/10

    Used 20s/10s/5s

Holy **** that last destroyer set took like 5 mins or so these older guys were looking at me funny while I was doing partials and swings like wtf are u doing, but I had a t shirt with a hoodie over it and my shoulders were were so full looked like little balls on my rear delts. **** em I don't see any you guys changing your physique weekly. They've looked the same since I started training here. Lol

Anyways I can't thank DW, breezy, jimbuick and big Dan enough for turning me onto this!

    Time for chow boys

interesting, not the norm practice for a "regular" type set-up for sure
i've done about every bodypart mixed with every other bodypart you can think of thru the yrs..
chest/shoulders..chest/back..chest/arms.. certainly good to mix things up and move around (my preference anyway)
chest/shoulders is cool for awhile, esp in a prep. not something i would encourage for a "regular" practice tho (my opinion)
unless, there are physical limitations. there is almost always an exception, to almost every rule.

great thing about this thing called bodybuilding

Yes sir! I know, very very odd. I found when I do them together, my shoulders are well loosened up after chest.

Surprisingly, my shoulders are growing great! I agree, not for everyone and I was very weary of training them together. Now, I'm hooked (for the next few weeks at least)

I attest some of it to my many years of baseball. Fairly certain I have minor tears in my labriums (it's thought roughly 70% of guys who make it through 4 years of college ball do) paired with biceps tendinitis.

I'm gonna give it a go and see. I'm excited actually I've always done the same **** (press and laterals) never getting any or very little results in my shoulders so I'm anxious for this set up. Thanks again DW

    1-19-13

    Arms/cardio

    Cross body hammer press
    3x9/9/8

    EZ Bar preacher
    3x8/8/8
    Squeeze at top

EZ Bar standing curl 3 sec negatives
    3x12/10/8

    Alt seated DB Curls
    3x12/11/11

    Rope pushdowns
    4x15/14/14/11

    Bench Dips slow neg
    3x12/12/12

    Incline EZ bar ext/skull crusher
    3x15/13/12

    Cardio 30 mins HR 120-135

Meeting with coach went well. He's very excited and said I'm on and even a little ahead of schedule. No dietary changes as I'm progressing weekly composition wise. Very encouraged as I was nervous as I have zero confidence in myself.

My HCG came in yesterday I will be dosing 2500ius either sun/weds or mon/thurs.

We had a very detailed convo about this therapy and he's very excited for me to see positive changes with increased test levels. I need to talk to my doc about prescribing me some arimidex to have on hand so I can combat any estro sides immediately if need be. Overall I'm enjoying this process thus far. I'm learning a lot about what I'm actually capable of and feel I'm growing mentally ea day. I've played competive baseball all my life really (3 years of college ball), state high school FS record holder, I'm a low handicap golfer, but this sport has been my biggest challenge yet and most rewarding by far. I'm glad to have you guys along for the ride.

Looking good man I wouldn't mind reading up on the Mountain Dog Training if you have some literature. Right now doing my own workout for a while but who knows if I can't incorporate some of his exercises into it.

Thanks Kleen much appreciated. Hope u got the link AZ posted. If not let me know ill send it to you. I'm stoked on this method and his view on growth and theories behind it. I've been stuck doing own thing with few variations forever, so this is very exciting to me. I think after my show I'm gonna give 5/3/1 a go. Thanks again for following.
