Yeah, i'm sure you've seen Meadows do pushup with a cambered bar, climbing the power rack. It's an awesome finisher but the stretch at the bottom there definitely tore my chest up, in a bad way, same with weighted dips..

Thanks for the kind words Manotour but you sir have a great foundation (far better than mine), but I'm going to catch you bro.

Ace you're a bawse that is all.

Snags I hope to have half your level of knowledge someday but I will have your eating disciplined in me so when I'm your age ill be looking like you!

    Enough of that ****.

Yesterday was my 2nd round of chest for the week. Only hit a few exercises but intensity was there and great execution of form was accomplished.

    Wu on stairs 8 mins

Incline Smith Press (30lb bar is what it says)

    6x/15/12/12/10/8/8
Focus on these, unlike the regular MD wo is going down all the way and focusing on the stretch no lockout at top of rep. Strength was better this week on these. I believe I finished at 195.

Peck deck focusing on full stretch and only 1/2-3/4 rep

    120x15
    130x13
    140x10

Slight incline DB press again focussing on stretch no lockout

65x8 too heavy form suffered this Is when my tris started to give out
    55x10/8

Low to high single arm cable cross
    3x15

Great pump felt great overall and finished with 10 min intervals on stairs. Yes I was feeling frisky.

Had a date with my wife so my coach told me to eat whatever sounded good. So we went to Asian bistro and I had Mongolian beef with rice and veggies, spring rolls and hung wings. Omfg good. Still holding steady at 188-189 (up 6-7 lbs) bf hasn't changed if anything it's gone down a smidge.

Legs on tap today boys should be fun!

I'm beat legs just kill me lol. I'm n not going to increase volume or change my leg workouts at this point first because I'm in prep (down to 11 weeks I believe) and also, honestly I don't think I'm ready for any more. I'm still responding well to this and it totally drains me. I fell asleep twice this afternoon/evening.

Workout was pretty damn quick as I took little rest and did super sets.

    Leg curls
    4x20 @ 60/70/80/90 last two sets I only got around 15 I think.

SLDL / leg press calf raises
    155x15 175x12 175x12
    360x12 450x9 450x8

Leg press / seated calf raises
    540x16 630x14 630x13 drop 450x22
4x15 (toes in, out, straight) stretch at bottom hold at top

Smith squat or my imitation of hacks
    185x14/12/10
    Last set was 1.5 technique

This only took 40 mins with a 10min warmup

Followed it with 15 mins of stairs

Well as I sit here noticing that I didn't get away with much in regards to my meal last night. Looked tight and well normal until about 5 pm then it's like someone put a hose up my ass and filled me with water. We will see how many days this will take to clear up. If I have any more refeeds they will be like they have been and try to stay gluten free, I notice a huge diff when I consume gluten. No more for me. Feel like garbage. Tomorrow will be cardio only.

Sounds awesome, the 1.5 technique is badass.. my new gym doesn't have a haxsquat or a Smith and i'm kind of too much of a puss C to try this on barbell squats

Today was first day of Phsse 2 (modified a bit) for me.

    Chest/shoulders/cardio
    11.5 weeks out

    Warmup 10m 125 cals

    Incl. DB press
    2 wu sets

    60x12
    70x11
    75x9
    80x8 F

Decline Smith Press these killed me lol

    155x25
    175x20 barely
    185x12
    195x8 drop 155x10 drop 110x8 (wide)

    Flat BB r/p
    165x7
    175x6
    175x6

Pec minor dips not sure if I did these correctly
    Bwx20/18/15

    Incl DB press
    45x15/13

Bent over rear delts with DB
    20x25/25/20 drop 15x12

Six ways these sneak up on you.
    10x10/10/7 drop 5x8

Wrecked followed this with 18 mins stairs

Overall this workout seemed too long for me. I didn't take more than 1m rests but before I was done with chest it had been like 40 mins. Overall tho good pump today. Focus was about 1/2 of what it is normally def didn't have that tunnel vision but I made it through.

I looked for a video on the MD site for the minor dips as I've never done them but didn't see one. Ill google it later.

Man I'm still holding water from that damn Asian food on Saturday. It's slowly diminishing but lesson learned I guess. I wish my coach would quit telling me to enjoy my refeed meals, I even told him where I was going and asked what I should order and he said just get what sounds good. I'm a bit under 12 weeks out and sitting around 10% +- by my estimation, and he's still concerned about me being ready too early. Such a mind **** but that's why I'm paying him so he can worry about it and if I do exactly what he says then the fault is on him lol.

12 weeks out at 10% is pretty good my man. Should be a nice smooth prep. Enjoy them "free" meals I sure do. I had chinese food and ice cream yesterday and looked lean as $hit this morning with some crazy a$$ vascularity going on.

Yea it's just a mind fock man. I get rolling with my meals and in a zone so to speak where I could care less about anything other than what's on my prep diet, then he looks at me and says go eat a refeed or a cheat meal or two and then I have a hard time getting back in that zone. Anyways he knows best lol. More posing practice this weekend.

I miss the aav2 man love that stuff. Couldn't handle the recompadrol gave me horrid GI issues if I took around food. The only dose I could handle was taking one or two b4 bed. Wake up looking dry as hell. Probly give it a go again soon :-)

Im like that also. I need a coach and structure. If i deviate from the plan it throws me all of. If I have a cheat meal I want another and another and it takes a few days to be ok eating prep food.

Recompadrol and AAV2 are helping big time. They are very effective Im tossing around the idea of upping my total calories each day since they are so effective.

    day

As other's mentioned, sometimes it's hard to cheat and then get back in to the zone. Guess it all depends on how much you want the result's in the end.

Yes, if you haven't eaten crap food for a while and are some what lean, you will look like a million bucks the next day for sho!!

Bean killer back routine man and I love the intensity and the will to want to train back. I think for most legs and back are the two most want to shy away from lol but they both are key.

Looking Great Bean!!! Definitely leaner than before. Doing excellently. How much does a decent coach cost by the way? When I did my competition I did it all solo. If not too much money a coach would be awesome.

Thanks Kleen! My prep cost 600.00 for 16 weeks but I've been working with him for a while so I actually got him to start working with me a month early so I really got 20 weeks outta him. 150.00-200.00/month is pretty standard. Having a coach for a prep is a must IMO. Takes all the worry out of it.

I was just telling my wife that I wish I had done measurements before cuz my legs/arms/forearms etc have grown significantly in the last 5+ weeks!
