    yup...that will work.

try running a hairdryer over applied areas for a minute or 2, really helps with absorption, imo.

I'm more worried about my back workouts right now. It's feeling much better after some time on the foam roller yesterday. I'll keep to that the next few days and see if I can clear it up before Tuesday.
Gotcha. I know what you mean, muscular pain is quite different from structural pain. Hope it's loosening up for ya.

Thanks. It's slowly loosening up. The rolling is helping for sure. So has 4 days of not sitting in an office chair. Lol

Legs are SORE from those split squats. What a great exercise that not enough people do.

I've run them all with great success except Formasurge before but I've run a lot of forma. Hope to have solid success with the combo.

I was expecting today to be crazy after the holiday but damn! Lol. What a crazy freaking day. I'm still working. But, I got my workout in.

    Chest tris

    10 min adjustable runner warmup

    Bob bench:barx15,135x12,225x8,245x 5
Incline DB press:80x11,90x6,85x8 slow negative on the last rep
    Pec dec: 175x13,175x9,175x6
    Skull crusher:90x10,90x10,90x8

Felt great on bench tonight. Not sure if it is but if not its close to a PR at 245x5. Went smooth as silk. Didn't have my normal spotter or I probably would have gone for 6.

The back was right a bit today still but we shall see what tomorrow brings.

  12. Very nice session, bro. Keep up the good work.

Yeah it is! Lets just hope it's fixed. Tired of it draining my funds.

I tried the hair dryer tonight.

I have notices more warming of the skin after application with Formasurge than with other forma products that I've used. I also have to say nice choice on the scent. Smells good. Lol

    Back

    10 min run

    Pull-ups:12,7,5
    Cable row:150x10,150x8,150x9
    DB row:100x10,100x10,100x8
    DB shrugs:100x13,100x13,100x11
    Incline DB curl:40x10,40x8,40x8
    Bench knee raise:25,25
    Camber curl:90x9,90x6,90x5

The low back is still tweaked. I had to be careful as my form started to break down a few times due to the pain there. Hard to lock your core properly when you've got pain in that area. I'm taking a few days off so hopefully it will clear up.

  18. yup...when i have pain in an area it throws everything off by my overcompenstating other areas to cover for the painful area, sucks!!!

Yes it does. Lol. Rest day today. Busy as hell still but that's good. I'd go broke if I wasn't. Lol

So far I can say the libido is in the realm if ridiculousness. My poor wife. Haha. Hopefully this back tweak clears up soon. Hate having something like that when I'm doing a log.

  20. Can I just say holy all day pump?! LOL

Lol. It sure is! Feel like I just left the gym.

  23. Aggression is high. That is all.

  24. I've been taking a friend of mine to the gym with me this week who hasn't lifted since high school. It's been kind of fun and refreshing. I'm killing him though. Lol the back is feeling good. Was going to hit squats hard last night but damned if I could get in a rack. So, we did split squats again. I decided to mix it up a bit though and do extensions and curls first to pre-exhaust the legs. Ouch.

    Legs shoulders

    10 min adj runner

    Leg extension:195x12,205x9,205x7
    Leg curls:190x8,190x8,190x7
    Bulgarian split squat:45x10,45x10,45x10-8 fail! Lol
    Machine shoulder press:110x13,130x9,130x8
    Bent shoulder raise:35x14,35x14,35x10
    Bench knee raise:30,20
    Foam roller

Hit the foam roller for a bit after. A couple if weeks ago I rolled first and my squats were awesome. Worth a try if you have access to a foam roller at your gym. I felt that it really helped my range and strength.

  25. Nice workout man. I love split squats! Usually every couple workouts I switch an ore exhaust my legs and it kills me! Keep it up bro.

Thanks Dave. Felt great. I totally failed on my right leg on that last set so I was pushing it. Haha.

I got a text from my buddy this morning.

    "I HATE YOU!"

    Hahahahaha

  29. Well I'm pretty happy right now. I hit an all time high bench tonight and it felt damn good! My buddy was still hurting from Friday. Lol he did good though.

    So obviously tonight was chest.

    Chest

    10 min elliptical warmup

    Bb bench:barx15,135x15,225x8,245x 6,275x1 PR!!!
    DB bench:80x10,85x7,85x6
    Pec dec:175x9,175x7,175x6
    Skull crusher/narrow grip press as:80x12/8,80x10/7,80x6/6
    Bench knee raise:27,25
    Bw dips:11,8

So far sticking with 2 pumps am/pm. May bump to 3/3 next week. Weight held at 189.6 this week so no gain there. Strength is a good sign though. I need to adjust my cals a but and see if I can push the weight up without getting too far. Hopefully the Anabeta will help out here. We shall see. I want to hit 200 this year without getting ridiculously sloppy but I'm not sure I can get there. I didn't cut as hard this summer with the intention of going to 200 but its a big jump still. 195 was my max last year.

  30. gonna be hard to add bulk with a clean diet while on formasurge, imo.
