    Workout:
    Lifting - Shoulders (35 sets)
Cardio - Walking (5 miles on the beach non-stop)

Strength - Felt strong in some aspects like ability to push. Grip strength was weak.
Workout Energy - A little sluggish today. Again no issues with anaerobic activity.
Normal Energy - Sluggish in the morning. Things picked up after workout.
Appetite - Normal. Did not have urges to eat.
Recovery - Having issues recovering from workout.
    Libido - Very high.
Skin condition - Normal. Not oily at all.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++

    Summary:
102 degrees on a Saturday + humidity. Perfect day for a day trip to the beach.

Slept well again and woke up like I should have plenty of energy all day. That is if I could get up. I felt very sluggish and low in energy. I mean seriously. I felt like just staying in bed. I also felt very sore. DOMS everywhere + aches this time in my abs and lower back. My upper back was sore and my legs were still sore from few days ago. Am I having issues with recovery ? or am I just coming down with something ? Low energy and soreness is a horrible combination. I am coming off a pretty serious stack designed to help with recovery, so I wonder if coming off that stack is the issue. I may have to reconsider my workout and volume and incorporated more rest. Or I could fight through and see if I can get over it without giving in.

I just want to point out that the EBF stack is a stack designed for nutrition partitioning, fat loss and pumps. So I do not attribute the soreness or low energy issues I am going through to EBF at ALL. Lets just be clear about this.

I went to the gym in the late morning. Today was a shoulder day. I changed up my shoulder routine last week. No more life fitness shoulder press. I now start off with smith machine shoulder press. The sluggishness felt in the morning affected the start of the workout. I did not feel as strong right away. However, as I completed each set, energy begin to pick up and I started to sweat heavily. It was tough. As i moved up the pyramid, grip started to become an issue as well. What a day to forget my gloves. As I reached my max weight, I did not feel as comfortable giving that last push as the bar felt like it was going to slip off. Yeah, I chickened out. I probably cut myself short at least a rep on sets 4-7.

Instead of moving forward, I went to the bodymasters shoulder press. Bodymasters is like hammer strength machine and it is definitely leveraged. I loaded it up and finished off 3 sets with pretty good amount of weight. My shoulders were freaking out. I could feel pump all over. Even in my joints....oops, I am going to feel that tomorrow.

Laterals, Rear Delt and upright rows finished off the shoulders. Striations all over and i felt great. My energy was now sky high.

My GF and I went to the beach late afternoon. It felt great down the shore and it was not as hot as I thought it was going to be. We walked up and down the beach non-stop for 5 miles. Strolled the boardwalk at night and came home. Bad food eaten today ? - frozen yogurt, 1 beer, 6 small buffalo wings. That's it !!! No boardwalk fries. No pizza or funnel cake. Had lean pork, sweet potatoes and asparagus for dinner. My appetite was in check and I had no urges to pig out. calories within normal range.

Did someone prepare me an ice bath ???

    Onto tomorrow.

  19. I understand that soreness it due to the sheer volume of your training man. With that training you need more cals

  20. And perhaps up your BCAA intake pre/intra/post.

Thank you for your input. Your comment actually makes me feel good. I just wanted to kill it the entire run so get max benefits out of this stack. I am going to fight through the soreness, but make sure I include some strategic rest days.

I have some Modern BCAA and I also have 2 large containers on RecoverPro coming. I have never taken PWO before, so they will be sitting there until I need them. I would only use them with EBF's approval. Not sure if they will be considered an add on to this stack. Want to keep it as clean as possible.

    Understood.

Bcaas help tremendously. Up it to 50 g per day. With 80% solely being leucine around workouts

Add them in brother. It'll only benefit your training.

50g per day minimum if training that hard

On chest back day I do almost 80 g

    Workout:
    Lifting - Chest (32 sets)
    Lifting - Biceps (10 sets)

Strength - Went into the gym very focused and that led me to feeling strong and getting max effort.
Workout Energy - In and out. No issue with energy.
Normal Energy - Tired in the morning recovering from long day at the beach the day before.
Appetite - No appetite today. Meh.
Recovery - DOMS Starting to subside a bit. Lower back and ab soreness is gone. Weird pain in my ribs.
Libido - My GF and I spent most of the morning in bed. Too bad we were too tired to do anything. Flirting and good response.
Skin condition - Normal again. No signs of oiliness or breakouts.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++

    Summary:
The price of spending all day at the beach in 102 degree weather and walking back and forth out in the sun like nothing mattered ??? Lazy morning next day with your GF, your dog and your cat, watching TV and not getting up till noon time. Our pets did not appreciate our laziness, but they appreciated the scraps from our breakfast.

I expected to be dead tired the next morning, but that wasn't the case. With the window open and breeze coming through, it was actually refreshing and relaxing. Don't get me wrong, we were tired and did not move around too much......DAMN. But it was one of those classic relaxing Sunday mornings that you dream about. If we had enough money to own a beach house, it would have been better.

Did not feel very hungry today. Ate light bland meals....chicken, egg, vegetables,....I did eat a liverwurst sandwich. It reminded me of my childhood when I hated it. I actually like it now. Only bad thing eaten was a small piece of coconut raspberry cake. Calories were kept at deficit and macros were in check.

It was a nice day out, so I did not want to spend too much time at the gym. It was a chest day.

I got there unusually focused and ready to lift.

The Hammer strength chest press felt amazing. I ripped through for 10 sets and got a PR on the last set. It was definitely a clean lift and that is an encouraging sign for next week. i felt great so I followed with 2 drop sets.

I followed with Hammer curls, flyes and machine press to finish off the workout in 50 minutes.

The pumps from workouts are starting to increase and oh those veins...they keep showing up in force every week. Sometimes i draw energy and aggression from seeing them.

Onto tomorrow. Not sure what to do with lifting done in 4 days. Light cardio maybe. Softball game Tuesday, so nothing too aggressive.
