My powerlifting coach back in the day always said that tall guys were always great deadlifters because we have longer tendons and ligaments that help support us much better. He compared it to a construction crane. I didn't believe him at first. Then again I never thought I'd PR 440 either when I lifted with him !

    And BTW Cel, I brought 30g of those BCAAs to drink after the fast begins. ****ing nasty **** man. *shivers*

    Alright then. Actually not a bad idea. The typical big 3. Cleans I have not done in quite some time... but not a bad idea to showcase what I look like and what my form looks like. Maybe you guys can even point some things out for me that I'm not doing quite right So I guess for the next week of workouts look for a little video about the major compound lifts then!!!

  7. The fast has begun. I plan on working out around 4PM EST and I definitely love getting me some Friday gym time because not a whole lot of people go to workout on Fridays so the gym is usually pretty cleared out and its how I prefer it.

    I'll also be updating with some thoughts on the current supplements (mainly ALPHABURN), some insight into my meals (with big help from Celorza), along with the video(s).

    We do enjoy red whine and share a mutual liking for French and Chilean Cabernet Sauvignons , yet with me up this late and no close to even going to bed anytime soon I think my gym session will be postponed till tomorrow...I haven't finished this god damn pitch of a project I gotta do, and I swear to god I am on my 7th caffeine pill in a 24h window now since I took the first at 6:30 AM yesterday...and I might need some more...Gotta turn in this before 1pm and progress is...lets say 70% done FML...

  26. JULY 6th: BACK/BIS

    After mistiming my fasting for today's workout I went in having fasted for about 21hours. I finally broke my fast at the 22 hour mark. Oops! I did surprisingly well considering that I thought I was going to suck today because I hardly had any fuel in the gas tank. It was kind of strange actually. I started off with deadlift and felt fine with 135. 225 felt heavy as ****. 275 felt light as ****. And kneeling down to place the weight for 315 and standing up made me light headed so I figured I was probably going to be showing you guys a video of me passing out lol. Thank god that wasn't the case!

    DEADLIFT: 135x15 225x12 275x8 315x????????????... stay tuned for this one

    BENT OVER ROW: 135x10,12 145x10

    SEATED ROW (NARROW): 90x12,12

    CLOSE GRIP PULLDOWN: 100x12,12

    DEADHANG PULLUP: BW-90x8,8,8

    STANDING ALTERNATING DB CURLS: 35x12 40x8

    SEATED PREACHER CURL: 55x12,12

    Postworkout/First meal that broke the fast meal:

    Freaking delicious! I can't believe that I scarfed down the whole thing!

    8oz. 96% lean beef
    8oz. chicken breast
    4 packets instant oatmeal w/ water
    10tbsp egg whites
    4 whole eggs
    Varying amounts of carrots + broccoli

    Thx Celorza! The diet isn't too bad actually its just trying to EAT it all quick enough before my stomach tells me NO MORE! Last night when I was eating my second meal I forgot my chicken and when I realized it I was like... oh god, no! I forced it down though with some hot sauce lol.

    I'm kind of confused about what to do today. I really want to do chest but I also want to stay fasted for 16 hours (at least). Since I goofed the time up yesterday a 16 hour fast means I can start eating at 8PM tonight. However, I have to work... so if I lift at 4PM that means I can't eat until 8PM. Doesn't sound like a good idea to just EAT NOTHING after a workout! So I think I may just workout at 4PM and eat around 5PM so I can get my "eating time" back to a reasonable time before work.

    Either that or do HIIT today instead of eat a BURN diet. I have no problem doing HIIT and waiting to eat until 8PM at work. I'll just keep drinking the BCAAs...

  30. Thoughts:

    -Don't sweat it too much, LG is to make life easier
    -Get your eating times back to normal even if it means breaking the fast a bit earlier or later someday, we can't be perfect 100% of the time we are humans it wont make a dent dont worry about it.
    -You can schedule Workout/rest-burn days at your will my young padawan just make sure you get the number of w.o. days needed per week and the cardio days needed per week to in order to create the deficit needed for your goal in relation to the time left (so 3 w.o. 4 cardio like we discussed if I recall right)
    -Work on the form for that deadlift, if you f*ck up your disks I'm gonna put an arrow through your legs (1 for each) when you are in the hospital with a note hanging on them saying: "Get well soon love-HawkEye"
