Primordial/ForeRunner Summer Fun

Thanks to ryansm for the discounts & BGRigatoni for the dosing protocol and encouragement.

Weeks 1 – 8: AndroMass: 6 caps upon waking, AndroHard: 3 caps upon waking, AndroDrive: 3 caps upon waking

Weeks 2 -7: Alpha Bulk: 8 caps at eight hours apart. 4 @ 9 AM and 4 @ 5 PM: Pre WO

Weeks 9 – 12: Sustain Alpha: 6 pumps – 5 on/2 off, Toco-8: 1 scoop per day, EndoAmp Max: 1 scoop per day, TCF-1: 5 ml per day

Additional supplements: Creatine (Pre/Post WO), Taurine (4 grams Pre WO), Vitamin D (5000 IU), & random multi-vitamin

Current Stats: 6’4”, 36 years old, weight will be with first additional post.

Goals: Add more size, become a bit more solid, and outgrow my keg (this shall be my theme this year). Hoping to bring my bench up and hitting the 1k+ lbs. leg press that has been eluding me the past few months. In reality, I’m going to work my ass off for every little gain I can earn this summer and in the end I won’t be surprised that this is more of a recomp than anything else.

Log Updates: Weigh in will be on Fridays. Friday Updates will be reflective like my other logs. Workout logs will be a cut and paste job from Fitocracy (insert flame here). I will chime in if something interesting happens during the week or if I hit a new PR.

Workouts: I’d like to run a 5 on/2 off this summer, M – Chest/Tri’s, T – Back/Traps/Bi’s, W – Quads/Ham’s/Calves, Th – Shoulders/Traps, F – Arms/Calves. Cardio, I really hate it but will get a minimum of 20 min on the bike following each workout.

Diet: Edibles will be as clean as I can be. Healthy snacks throughout the day with my daughter. As much protein as I can get in each day. Minimum of 3 liters of water a day. And yea, cheats happen, so what? There is always room for a Carl’s Jr. or Chipotle run when needed. Not to mention that summer weather means good BBQ whenever I can.

For any and all that tag along this little journey, thanks in advance.

First post should be sometime tomorrow.

Just a couple of observations...

1) Must eat something very quickly. Getting queezy after about 10 - 15 minutes after ingestion sucks.
2) No grapefruit burps. I'm actually missing them.
3) Thirst has gone on a rampage. Doubled my water intake yesterday and was still thirsty.

Looking forward to this next week... Even with the wife home to disrupt my routine.

Yea, if my math (and yours) serves correctly, it should hover right about there for weeks 2 - 7. Hope you log the Alpha with the Anavar, I'd like to see what you're able to do with that stacked. I'm thinking that this winter I'd like to run a full FR line-up just to see how my body reacts since I already know that I respond pretty well to PP line-up.

Strained my lower back two weeks ago, thought things were doing better... Ended up straining it again doing yard work yesterday afternoon. Went for a quick, light leg workout today. Feeling pretty good with very little strain put on my back. Really miss not doing squats since I just added them to the routine about 4 weeks ago. Will be going light for the rest of the week to help the healing process. If things don't heal up after this weekend, I may switch my routine to a 4 day split next week to get an added day of rest.

I know what you mean. When I was 21 I had back surgery - on L4/L5. I am always so afraid to put my back out. Exercises like squats, stiff leg deads, deads, even bent over barbell rows I sometimes sacrifice weight due to FEAR of it going out... Even when you tweak your back it certainly takes time to heal doesnt it.

Yep but it's not going to stop me from moving forward. Too much progress the past two months to stop. And I've been waiting to run the majority of this stack since January.

Good news is that squats I can do but not as heavy as I could 15 years ago. Deads, either way, and bent over rows have always taken a toll on my back. I'm really hoping that the family comes through for Fathers Day. Requested a new weight belt and wraps so that the old man might be able to feel young again, lol.

Week 1 Reflection:

Strength: I broke through a big (long) plateau a few weeks ago and since that breaking point I’ve managed to get my strength up each week. I’m sure once things get rolling I’ll see some good jumps in what I am lifting.

Recovery: Nothing to really notice. I’m a bit sore the next day but that’s been the norm for the past 8 weeks.

Pump/Vascularity: Been Agmatine free for 2 weeks now but the pumps I’ve been getting this past week have been very near what I was feeling. They just don’t stick around as long.

Mood/Aggression: Mellow and pretty happy about things.

Energy/Focus: No outside stims other than coffee or iced tea the past three weeks so my days start out very slow. Focus has been definitely there though in the gym and when working around the house. Not sure if it might be the Drive or just a placebo effect from starting something I’ve been waiting to do for the past 6 months. A huge plus is that it’s really helped get me through the 30 minutes of cardio after each workout.

Noticeable Changes in Appearance: Nada.

Libido: No change. Been pretty good the past 8 weeks so if something changes I should be able to notice positive/negative changes pretty quickly.

Odds ‘N’ Ends: Dreams… Crazy the first few nights like I had with Intimidate. Sleep though has been decent but not feeling totally refreshed in the AM. The past two nights I’ve had the night sweats. Appetite has been normal. Thirst has died down due to me drinking 1.5 to 2 gallons of water.

Other than that, nothing extraordinary; from other logs I’ve read, much of the PP line-up doesn’t really kick in until week 3 or 4.

*Workout started out uber-crappy and I wasn't able to focus until my 3rd exercise. Then it was on! Pumps were amazing today, forearms felt like they were going to burst.
**Weight up +3 which isn't bad. I thought it was going to be much more due my wife being on vacation and the ****ty job I've done watching what I have been eatting with her around. Going out to eat at least once a day for the past two weeks and gaining only 3 lbs is something I will not complain about. Next week and for the foreseeable future, I'll be able to prepare 90% of my meals.

Day 9 & 10: Off days.

Ah rest, relaxation, and Father's Day... Which means I get to do house and yard work. At least the critter came through with a new weight belt and some new wraps. Next week should be fun putting those to use. Back will love the belt. Going to feel sorry for my back and traps though.

Note:
Not a touch of sorenesss today, definitely no DOMS. Feeling pretty solid this morning and hoping that this is a sign of things to come.
Broke down and bought some Craze last night and will be adding that to the pre-WO mix once it arrives. Focus is great but I'm lacking in the kick start area. I'm going to really need a boost the next 8 weeks as I'll be spending 10 hours a day with my 3 year old while the wife goes to work. I'm going to lose my mind but it beats the hell out of teaching summer school!

Thanks HTS.

I am the father and I am doing the yard work per what I actually wanted to do today. My old man moved from CA to Arkansas of all places so no doing the fixer uping at his place!

Anywho, Happy Fathers day to you all and all of yours.

Chest/Tri's tomorrow, early evening. Hoping I can get settled into a good summer routine this week with the 3 year old... I am SOOOO looking forward to the summer of 'WHY?'.

Just a Monday morning mini update.

I am generating some serious heat over this past weekend. Not to mention downing 1.5 to 2 gallons of water per day.

Woke up this morning feeling dense, hard, thick. If this keeps up, I can only imagine what I will feel/look like at the end of this run.

New gym time of 5 PM. Wife went back to work so it's me and the critter. Will log W.O. this evening.

Possibility but I wouldn't hold my breath. If I do, it will be a pic from where I started a year ago with a comparison of where I ended up in the course of the past year. But if things turn out exceptionally well, I do have a starter pic to go along with a finishing.

Warning: If I post pics and you post somewhere that you saw Big Foot, you would be right.:eek5:

Strong workout... so what happened with the water?
Chugged about 1/3 of a gallon and got all nice and queezy. Took a good 15 minutes to get my head on straight, stomach in check, and back into gear. Was weird, this has never happened. But since I am lifting heavier and its been pretty toasty the past few days, it doesn't surprise me.

Going to hydrate really well pre W.O. so that it doesn't happen this afternoon. I want a good strong leg workout today so I can try for that 1K leg press that's been unattainable the past three months next week.

Thursday, June 22th - 346 lbs. (+0 – maybe this will be more of a recomp?)

Week 2 Reflection:

Strength: WOW. It’s all I can say. Increases across the board the past two weeks and I cannot wait to see how this stack holds up over the entire 8 weeks. Not sure exactly if it’s the Bulk or Mass or a combo that has helped. I definitely believe that the Drive has had a huge impact on my determination to push myself with each W.O.

Recovery: Excellent. Not much in the way of being sore, more like being stiff. Guess I am getting old.

Pump/Vascularity: Pumps have gotten more intense and lasting longer. Veins are definitely starting to come through more, especially on my shoulders and upper pecs. I’m feeling very dense/solid all day long.

Mood/Aggression: Happy go lucky. Aggression does pop up when I’m working out and pushing myself which is a huge plus. My fuse has gotten a bit shorter with other people’s stupidity…

Energy/Focus: Focus is dead on. Energy has been lagging. It was time to bring back a pick-me-up prior to my workout so I grabbed a tub of Craze and put it to good use. Energy during W.O.’s has been much better.

Noticeable Changes in Appearance: Feeling harder, even for a fat guy, nothing visual yet. I am 100% positive that my legs have gotten bigger; my baggy boxers and cargo shorts are much snugger these days.

Libido: No change and on par with last week.

Odds ‘N’ Ends: Appetite throughout the day has diminished. Then again, I am able to plan my meals and snacks with the wife back at work. Thirst is still outrageous and I am getting tired of getting up 2 or 3 times a night to take a leak. Wishing for a full night’s sleep; I toss, turn, sweat, dream, and get up to pee all night long. I’m very thankful that my 3 year old will still take a nap in the early afternoons! Little more oily this week but nothing extreme.

Weigh-ins will now be Thursdays and weekly reflections post Thursday evening W.O.’s.

Liking your workouts man.
Thanks, I am too. Pretty sure the AD is fueling the want to push myself and I am really enjoying the numbers I've been putting up.

Feeling old this morning. Joints feel dry and creaky: shoulders, elbows and knuckles. Not totally sure how or why but I really don't care. The past two weeks have been some of the best as far as strength gains are concerned over the past year. Arms and calves tonight if all goes well!

**Crappy W.O. late in the evening and didn't get a second round of calves in this week. The rest will probably be good.
***Pumps were crazy/insane tonight.

Sides: I'm starting to believe that the reason I am not sleeping well is the AndroDrive. When I lay down to crash, my mind continues to keep rolling on and on and on and on and... You get the point. Going to hit the NyQuil tonight to try and slow things down a bit. Other than not getting a restful sleep or nap in since starting, I really enjoy AD and the focus and confidence I have in the gym.

I also believe the Mass and Bulk are starting to kick in - strength and recovery have been excellent and I am looking forward to seeing how I might be able to destroy myself next week.

As for the Hard, it's starting to have a nice recomp effect with my keg. Though my weight numerically has not changed much the past two weeks, subtle changes in the keg's appearance were noticeable this morning.

Kind of worried about my appetite. Last three days it's diminished quite drastically. I know I am not eating nearly as much as I have been or should be. Going to keep an eye on this and hopefully it's something that doesn't linger around too long.

Beer: Totally quit drinking two weeks ago. Who I wouldn't kill for a hand crafted double or triple IPA right now...

Day 16: Rest... I think I deserve it.

Better sleep last night though I stayed up late and then hammered some NyQuil. Still my mind is running unleashed. No complaints though.

Joints a bit better this morning. Decided to pony up and grab a bottle of AMS Joint Fixx to toss into the equation. Should get here middle of next week which won't be soon enough for me.

Will be keeping an eye on the appetite this weekend and I hope that it will improve soon. Thirst on the other hand is still in overdrive.
