Getting Swole with Crea-Trona (pics!) (Finaflex sponsored log)

I want to start off by saying thanks to Dreamweaver and Finaflex for letting me log this product.

Here is the info on it:

    Supplement Facts
    Serving Size: 2 Capsules
    Servings Per Container: 60
    Amount Per Serving

    Crea-Trona®
(94% Ultra Pure Creatine Monohydrate, 6% Sodium Carbonates)
    500 mg **
    **Daily Value not Established
    Other Ingredients: Gelatin, Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #3, FD&C Yellow #6

†Crea-Trona® (Patent Pending) is a trademark of AlzChem AG.

I will be taking 6 - 8 caps per day, so this should last me 30 days or better. If Finaflex reps want me to dose it differently then i will (obviously) lol.

I said i would take starting pics so that people can see the results, so without further ado, here is me in all my non-big glory:

    Stats

    Age:23
    Sex: yes please
    Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 193lbs as of this picture
Bodyfat %: you be the judge. im guessing high 12s.
    Training history: 5+ serious years
Creatine usage: Mono, ethyl ester, kre-alkyln, dicreatine malate, creatine nitrate, and now, Crea-Trona.

I will also be using Finaflex Ignite 2 as my preworkout that i paid for with my own hard earned money. Love this stuff! But i digress, this is about Crea-trona. Ignite 2 does have Crea-trona in it though!

yes, i am pale. get over it lol.

31 days on Crea-Trona: After pics. Bodyweight as of pictures - 191lbs

    Final review:

Crea-Trona is an amazing creatine, no doubt about it. I kept my bodyweight nearly the same (within 3 lbs), lost body fat, gained muscle, vascularity increased, strength increased, and stamina increased. My endurance is through the roof! I think the pictures speak for themselves. Remember, this is only 31 days on Crea-trona. In conjunction with proper diet and training Crea-Trona can truly take you to the next level. I am wanting to pick another 4 weeks worth to see how big of a difference i can really make!

    Strength: 9
    Stamina: 8
Endurance: 10! I didn't want to leave the gym.
Overall Mood:Amazing. Each workout made me feel better.
Bloat: NONE! i look drier, leaner, and more full! every other creatine i have used has made me feel bloated.

    Day 2) Legs!

I love doing supersets / drop sets on leg day. Really makes me feel good but horrible all at the same time.

Squats / BB Lunges / Front Squats (all supersetted without a break in between exercises)

    BB Squats
    225 x 10 x 4

    BB Lunges
    155 x 10 (each leg) x 4

    Front BB Squats

    155 x 10 x 4

    --end of that grueling routine---

Standing Calf Raise Machine supersetted with Laying Leg Curl Machine

    Calf Raises
    250 x 12
    280 x 11
    300 x 8 x 2
    250 x failure

    Leg Curls
    180 x 12
    190 x 9 x 2
    170 x failure

    Seated Leg press Machine

    250 x 15
    280 x 12 x 2
    300 x failure
    220 x failure

    Seated Calf Raises
    4 plates x 10 x 2
    2 plates x failure

Stairclimber for 15 min + Elliptical for 10 for 400 total calories burned!!

I will be rating Crea-Trona based on 4 guidelines that Dreamweaver has laid out:

    Strength Increase
    Stamina Increase
    Overall Energy
    Recovery

Each will be rated from 1-10 with 10 being the best. I will not give all 10s just because they let me log this. If it doesn't help, ill definitely let yall know, but if it's anything like the other Finaflex products then im expecting great things!

It will obviously take a while to judge all these, but i am excited to see them all go up!

little update: my left shoulder has always popped, cracked, and just generally made weird noises since it was pulled out of socket years ago. as of this morning, there is no clicking, popping, cracking, or any kind of "kink" like usual. I have been so used to it popping that this is a bit weird. ill keep this updated because it might just be temporary.

just got back from the doctors. my left testicle has been kinda hurting since monday, but today i almost doubled over in pain. went to see the doc right before they closed and he said it was varicocele? hurts like hell at random times, kinda feels like blue balls, but only in 1 testicle. not too thrilled about this

im going to take tomorrow off to rest, and try to hit it hard saturday morning.

any body else have this or go through this? any suggestions? did you have surgery? any help is appreciated.

ill be going to the gym tomorrow. yeah, on mother's day. should be good! not lifting for 3 days sucks!

should be just a tad over 1 month from now. i plan on starting that june 17. and yeah, my nuts feel much better. no pain.

    Day 5)

did a full body type workout to get some cardio and strength training in. Can't remember everything i did cause i was just jumping from one exercise to another. I had a ton of energy, but i made sure not to over-do it in case my balls decided to start hurting again. tomorrow will be a much more structured workout, possibly a chest / abs/ cardio day.

after 3 days of rest i was so ready to hit the weights! my energy levels were way up.

exactly! im really liking it so far. also, big plus on the taste of Ignite 2 (watermelon flavor). mixed with about 14oz of water it is a very light flavor. not overly sweet or chemically. im no food critic or anything, but it was "refreshing".

that's the plan! i did the spartan race a while ago and it was really tough for a 4 mile race. this one is only 3.2 and is much easier. plus, my recovery time seems to be going down so i'll be good to go by sunday.

    Day 9) Shoulders

Did this workout fasted, and i was amazed at how well my energy levels stayed high. Big pump, lots of veins, and moving some weight!

    Seated DB Shoulder press

    65 x 12
    80 x 9
    90 x 6 x 2
55 x failure (i love drop sets if its not obvious by now)

DB Later raises / DB Bent Over Real Delt Raises / DB Front Raises (all super setted)

    15lb x 10 x 4 15lb x 10 x 4 15lb x 10 x 4

BB Shrugs (never been good at these)

    185 x 12 x 2
    225 x 7 (no clue why i can't do more )
    185 x failure

    BB Clean and Press

    115 x 10 x 2
    135 x 6

I was worn out! and my shoulders were on fire, but man oh man did they look good. i am starting to see major improvements in them as far width and separation between my bis/tris and shoulders. A good bit of striation as well.

Again, this was fasted. I at breakfast at 7 in the morning (can't pass up free breakfast at work), and then early lunch at 11. Worked out at 7 so i had not eaten for 8 hours. not sure if that's considered fasting, but i sure as heck didnt have anything in my stomach.

Ill try to get pics up sunday evening (after the Warrior Dash). It's only been 2 weeks but i definitely think i look leaner, but just as big. My weight has stayed the same. I think this Ignite 2 + Crea-Trona is a great combo.

Felt great the whole time. My arms were pretty pumped up, but the pump faded pretty quickly after the workout because of low carbs im guessing. Not a problem though, tomorrow (saturday) i will be carb loading for the Warrior Dash. ok, maybe not loading up too much, its only a 5k lol.

    day 11 - may 19) Chest

My brother is in town from the Air Force, he is based in N. Carolina so I wanted to work out with him, and he wanted to do chest, so yeah. we did chest again.

    Incline DB Bench

    75 x 12 x 2
    85 x 10 x 2
    90 x 7

    Smith Machine Flat Bench
    185 x 15
    205 x 12
    205 x 8 (with help)
    225 x 3
    135 x failure

    Decline Machine
    3 plates (each side) x 10 x 2
    3 plates + 25lbs x 7
2 plates (each side) x failure

    Pec Deck
    130 x 12
    145 x 10 x 2

We got up and worked out early, so i was very much working out fasted, but i was still able to put up 90lb dumbbells on incline bench!

Take into account that my weight (as of Friday night, not this morning) was 188lbs!! No carbs sucks lol, but ill be having pasta for dinner, so im sure ill be back at 192 -193 by sunday afternoon.

So, my strength was up, even though i had no food in me for about 12 hours, and my energy levels were good - not great. not too bad considering it was first thing in the morning and i was hungry as hell.

day 12 - May 20) Warrior Dash!! Things went great, had a lot of fun doing this race in north Georgia. I made sure to take 8 Crea-Trona and 1 scoop of Ignite before the race. Felt good the whole race with lots of energy. I wasn't trying to set records cause i was running with my brother and wanted to stick together, but I did this 5k much faster than the one last October.

    day 13 - may 21) BACK

Said i was gonna post up pics, so i dont wanna be a liar. Here is my brother and myself after the warrior dash. couldnt let free beer go to waste

I thought my arms looked pretty good considering i just ran 3.2 miles and did obstacles. plus, i look tan cause im covered in mud lol.

DB Rows superset with Australian Pullups

    Wide grip pull ups

    bodyweight x 7
    bodyweight x 4 - assisted -40lbs x 9
    assisted -40lbs x 12
    assisted -50lbs x failure

    Lower back extensions
    200 x 12
    250 x failure x 2

    T-bar rows

    2 plates x 11
    2 plates + 25lbs x 7 x 2
    2 plates x failure

Machine High Rows superset with Machine Underhand Rows

    180 x 10 x 4 210 x 10 x 4

I was extremely pumped up. If it werent weird i would have been snapping pics oh how much my veins were popping out. I had not eaten for 6 hours prior, so i give credit to a high intensity workout and Ignite + Crea-Trona!

Bodyweight was 192.4lbs tonight before workout. I am keeping up with numbers that i was doing when i was 10 - 15lbs heavier. I am really liking these products and can clearly see my body changing and getting leaner. Keep in mind, diet has a lot to do with it, but Crea-Trona and Ignite 2 are definitely helping a ton!

at the warrior dash? quite possibly. but i just do them for fun. I'm not a huge fan of cardio to begin with, but this makes it much more enjoyable. I did this one more as a "bonding with my brother" event.

    Day 14) Chest

Not gonna lie, i just wasn't feeling it today, but i got in the gym and knocked it out anyways. I need sleep. I have been burning the candle at both ends for a couple of weeks now, and i need some much needed rest.

    Flat Bench

    185 x 12 x 2
    205 x 6 x 2 (yeah... not my best ever)

    Incline Smith Machine

    205 x 8 x 2
    185 x 8
    155 x 11

    DB Incline Flys

    35 x 9 x 2
    40 x 5
    30 x 11

    Pec Deck

    120 x 12
    135 x 9 x 2

    Dips

    bodyweight x failure x 2

    Pushups

    bodyweight x failure x 2

My only guess is the lack of sleep i have been getting, and the fact that my shoulders might have been less than 100% after yesterdays killer back day. anywho, im sure tomorrow will yield better results.
