Hemovol Log by Distilled Water

  1. I feel Hemavol would be GREATLY utilized on a program like DC,
if the body doesnt naturally get HUGE pumps or vasodilation form DC training Hemavol can greatly add to that.

In my perspective I wouldnt take hemavol on a high rep scheme,
i can however see how hemavol can get in the way of performing beyond failure as the pain from the pump can inhibit those last few reps, but personally i dont get pumped on DC too often but then again i havent tried it too many times

  2. See I get pretty great pumps from DC, I def think I'm in the minority here.

Yeah I'm stump'd too as to why the pumps aren anything out of the ordinary. Well I bought a bottle and not going to give up on it so we'll see.

  3. I also think making the switch from DC has something to do with the pumps, finding the correct weight:rep ratio right now is kind of hard but I have a week under my belt now so I should see some good things from here on out, or at least I hope.

    On a side note.....

Well with moving this past weekend and putting everything away I found my diets from when I tried doing a contest 6 years ago! I also found my workouts from the time shortly after. I remember I made some great gains in the time after with that workout, hmmm.

I didn't do the show because the guy putting me through the show (and close friend) had a stroke about 4 weeks out from the show. However, this makes me kind of want to give it a go again. I was about 30lbs lighter than I am now but could make the adjustments to the diet, or just call me buddy and ask what to add.

Hmmm maybe a contest diet starting in May????

  4. Do it!!!

I asked around the gym today and there's a local guy who charges $600 for 10 weeks! Not to mention a $20 meeting fee, wtf?!?!

Worse case I start dieting and don't find anyone who I trust and just get in incredible shape haha

  6. In light of these hemovol findings I propose an idea (it also fits into my schedule better)
    Wake at 10am
    -30gr Swedish oat starch
    -30gr WMS
    -25gr whey isolate
    -25gr egg protein

    11:30am
    -10 tabs Hemovol
    -32oz water

    12:00pm
    -PUMP TIME

    thoughts, comments, concerns?????

  7. Or 10tabs Hemovol about an hour before and start sipping on that same drink but minus egg protein

  8. You could try it both before and after and see which way works best for you. I eat at least 100g carbs myself pre workout looks good to me otherwise

You carb whore!!!! Haha I can't get away with that many or my waistline grows faster than my biceps.

I ordered the supplies today so hopefully I'll be ready to give this a try by then. In the mean time I'll keep plugging away

Ahh nice choice, that's about the only carb I'll eat outside of sweet potatoes and Ezekiel products. Occasionally oatmeal and fruit.

Yeah I know but working 12hr shifts and 10min breaks (30min for 'lunch') that's how I have to go to get the cals/protein I need. Sat and Sunday are mostly all whole food meals

  18. *Response to earlier comment. I just wouldn't take a pump product during DC training because the pump is the last thing I am worried about in a program like that. Just trying to be the logbook and increasing the weight. I would save hemavol for something that induced a lot more volume. That is just me though. So op next time you do a regular bodybuilding type workout you should give the powder a try and see how you like it.

  21. pssssh larry you think thats a lot? LOL heres my diet before i was dieting

    meal 1 50g whey 1 cup oats
meal 2 50g whey 1 cup oats 1/2 tbspn PB

meal 3 50g whey 1 cup oats 1/2 tbspn PB

meal 4 50g whey 1 cup oats 1/2 tbspn PB
    meal 5 Chicken,turkey or eggs,
    meal 6 50g whey 3 tbspn PB

    i went through near 20lbs a month.

Distilled water, part of the reason you are not having HUGE pumps may be beacuse pre workout you arent having enough fluid in your system and not enough carbs before you lift, its harder to get meals in pre morning training but try to add a little oatmeal before bed ALA dorian to allow glycogen to be fuller in the am, OR just wake up 1hr prior and SLAM a shake and go back to bed.... its HARD but its what may be needed

    Dang that looks rough man!

That's the idea with the potato starch/WMS for breakfast. maybe with my nightly shake and 1/2cup of oatmeal before I hit the hay will do the trick.
