  4. Pretty good workout tonight. I would call it great but I couldnt hit it as hard as I want because of my knees. I had to make it intense with TUT. I spent the second half of my time in the gym trying not to barf because of it.
    Before I left for the gym I asked Jesus if he would clear the only squat rack at my gym of all fools doing curls. He hooked me up. I walked in and started warming up. I got my girlfriend, who is an Occupational Therapist to watch my ROM on a couple sets to make sure I wasnt stressing all those [email protected] bands in my knee. She's an awesome gal regardless of whether she watches my form or not, but this helped. I wanted to stay in the pain free zone. Once you cross over into it, a lot of times, you dont come back for a couple days no matter what ya do. I didnt wanna take a dump on the whole WO. Well, enough manic rambling.
    Squats done in 2 minute blocks on an interval timer

    15 minute HIIT with a 30 second 90-100% output/90 second 60% output cadence.
    If you've never used an interval timer for your weight training sessions, I highly recommend it. I'm not fitness, body building or strength training guru. But it helps me keep the pace and intensity going throughout the workout. I usually set mine on a 2 minute interval. It starts. I do my set. then I have the remainder of the 2 minutes to rest. This is usually in the 90 second range. It's working well right now. It works well for cutting too because it keeps you pushing the pace. Their are tons of free smartphone apps available if you're interested in trying it.

  5. Upper body pressing movements this morning. I usually dont workout in the mornings. When I lift early I am considerably weaker and my workouts lack "punch." I didnt go for any PR's today. I workout at the Y and the only people that couldve spotted me today were in their 70's. Sex drive is still real solid. Morning wood is an everyday thing. I have random wood up until about 2pm every day. I'm 35 years old. This isnt supposed to happen.

    Really? That will suck, I use Cissus powder, if I don't use it for a week or so I start to get major joint pain. The worst part of Cissus is how long it takes to get into your system fully. You don't see full effect til a little over a week!

  9. I had to put off back and bi's until tomorrow. I had my daughter the last couple days. I did do 20 minutes of intervals yesterday morning. No real training of any kind today. Perfect weather where I live the last few days. Great times. A real post tomorrow, wed, and fri or sat.

  15. Ok, great back workout tonight. Just a update on stats here. When I started I was 199 and 15%BF. I'm now 196 and 13%. This is a good thing. After this log I'm gonna start a true recomp( as in recomping on purpose with 11 oxo and couple other things. I'd like to trade out 7lbs over 8 weeks. We'll see. Anyway, back to the workout. Back and bi's. I had to lifts tonight where I moved more weight than I've ever moved on these same lifts. My back workouts have been great on testopro. I have to say I like this because I need some back growth(as well as other areas).

  17. Yes. My top two abs came back to stay for a while. I'm hope more will come to hang. I'm def more vascular. My friend told me I was "blowing up" last week. I'm real pleased. I feel like those gains are real good considering I'm 35 years old and I am taking no ph's. Assimilating 1.5lbs is pretty cool. Find a 1.5lb pack of lean Chuck at the store. Consider the process it took to create it. It pretty [email protected] heavy when u think about it.

  18. Ok, legs tonight. Knees still feeling pretty good. Right knee was a little "warm". My lower back was a little gassed from the circuit i did late last night. 11 rounds of 10 ab wheels, 10 14lb med ball pick up and vertical throw, and 5 burpees.   21. I cant believe no one said anything about that last ass shot. Anyhow, I worked back and bi's tonight. It was a great workout. I didnt have a hard time moving around the gym as I went at national bench press time.

    I finished it off with a hiit tech I picked up out of the article section about high intensity machine cardio. I (rowing) raced 125m rested 30 seconds, raced 250m, rested 1 min and raced 500m. I was hallucinating after the 500m. It was intense. I recommend it. It's going well. My girl friend told me that she can see a big difference. It's good to hear that other people notice the fruit that you bear from you busting your @$$

    I did sprints on the row machine to end it all. I did a 125m and 4 250m sprints, each with a minutes rest between. This seemed especially brutal today. It was probably a combo of leg fatigue and the early rising. Great workout overall. Almost threw up so I guess it was a good leg day

  26. Active rest day. Hiit Cardio with Heavy bag 30 sec, rest 30, jump rope 30, rest 30, repeat 8 times for a total of 16 mins. Good stuff. Chest shoulders and tri's tomorrow. Maybe at 5am again. We'll see

  29. Well I moved 2 out of 3 training days to 5-6am. NOT what my body is accustomed to. All lifts on those early days have dropped at least a little. I still feel good. People are making comments about my arms looking "pumped" and that sort of stuff. The stuff creates a good hormonal environment for descent training and nutrition to do it's thing. It's good. Did I mention I quit smoking? I quit 3-4 weeks ago. I dont really remember. I smoked a 1/2 pack a day. I was standing outside smoking one night and started thinking about how much money it cost to smoke, how unhealthy it is, how my daughter may have to watch me lay in a hospital bed because of something this stupid that was 100% self induced. I quit right then. I dont even really crave them. I dont know if you believe in God or not, but I think he just let me off the hook, so to speak. Good night gents. Have a great Easter
