    It just arrived!!! Thank you to Grambo and the Purus team. I am going to be running a full supply of Muscle Marinade Cherry Limeade. The great thing for me is, that with my past experience with pre w/o I will be able to make a viable comparison. I have heard great things, and I have to admit I am very excited to give this a run.

    A little background information
    age: 35
    height: 5'10" (I used to be 6')
    Weight: 200-205lbs

    I lift and run starting at 3:45am, so MM will be getting a huge test. If this can get me going that early, then it truly will be at the top of the list. The reason I am up so early is my job (school administrator). I leave by 6am every morning, and most afternoons I am not home till well after 5. At that point I am fried and the desire for working out is zero.

    Some of the other pre w/o that I have used are:
    1. White Flood (all versions)
    2. N2KTS
    3. JP8
    4. JP8X
    5. Jack3d
    6. Pre Surge Unleashed (sorry, but this was awful)
    7. Superpump
    8. 1mr
    9. Lit Up
    10. Admantium
    11. Maniac
    Some of these were good, others were a waste for me personally. I will say, the top 2 on that list are my favorites thus far, so if I can add MM to the top or near the top of the list, it will say a lot imo for purus and MM. I will be judging on several categories: taste, mixability, pump, focus, and energy.

    Current supplements that I use:
    Orange Triad- CL
    Mass Aminos- BI
    Pure Isolate- MGN

    This will begin tomorrow morning bright and early

  3. Got up at my normal 3:45 this morning. Mixed the MM. Here is what I noticed:

    Easy mixing, no clumps, mixed after just a few shakes. (very important to me)

    Taste: very light flavor. I had just tried another pre w/o that was of the same flavor and it tasted more like vomit mixed with cherry. This was a very light fruity flavor. Quite pleasant.

    Effects: After my 30 minute warmup on the treadmill, the tingles were more pronounced. Focus was solid. Nothing regarding pump was noticeable during the shoulder routine. Worked in giant set format with 4 exercises:
    Standing btn press
    front db laterals
    side db laterals
    rear db laterals

    did 5 sets per exercise for a total of 20. Which is a nice statement for energy this early in the am.

    Since tomorrow begins the weekend (thanks goodness) my workout will be relatively normal.

  5. Had a real nice back/bi workout. The MM hit very quickly. I lowered the amount of water a tad, Which seemed to quicken the response. The tingles were far more pronounced than before, as was the energy.

    The taste is subtle and not overwhelming, which is nice. Mixing is easy, no floaters at all.

    I am interested to see tomorrow as that is my typical heavy chest/tris day.

  7. I continued to alter the water amount in my MM. It certainly seems to impact the effects

    THe focus was not nearly as pronounced as previous. Although my strength was good as was my energy. Another noticeable factor for me was endurance. Even though the focus was not spectacular, I ran for 30 minutes after my heavier lifting day and was not the least it fatigued.

    So again:

    Strength 4.5/5
    Focus 3/5
    Energy 4.5/5
    Mixability 5/5
    Taste 5/5

  9. another test passed. 3:45 up and rearing to go. Was able to get in 35 minutes on the treadmill as well as work legs. I will say that at some point this afternoon I am likely to crash, but for the morning the energy was quick (thank goodness) and the effects were noticeable.

  11. It's the only time I can do anything due to the new job.

  12. I am about to force myself into early workouts and not looking forward to the initial break in period. But I have to study in the afternoons and I just get stressed and have been missing gym time.

  13. Did not lift this morning. Today is a real long day at work. I will be in by 6:45ish and wont be back home till after 10 tonight. So no lifting today or tomorrow. Back to the grind on Thursday however

  14. OK a quick question for those familiar with MM. I am noticing something that has only since adding MM to my regimen.

    I am sweating even in cold weather. Other pre w/o make me sweat or increase sweating during the workout, however, since starting MM, I am sweating regardless of what I am doing. In fact, I am sweating so much its actually embarrassing.

  15. While I have not used MM, sounds like your body temp has elevated. How is the appetite? Is your metabolism running high? Do you think you are pushing yourself harder than normal because of the MM? I have used other pre workouts that cranked me up to where I was pushing myself so far past my limits my body really was struggling to keep up. Over time, you start to get overtrained. That is why I asked about the metabolism. Your body is trying to keep up with the effort. You sweating at night while sleeping? Another sign of overtraining. Just some ideas.

  16. that is possible. I mean the sweat was ridiculous, through 2 shirts.

    Nothing noticeable while sleeping though

  17. Hmmm not sure about the extra sweating. Would have to be the stimulants but not sure why it would be something special with MM

  18. I took a day off from it today. Just to see if there is any correlation. I know if I begin sweating like crazy, than it is not the MM. Will update later

  19. Took my dose of MM early this am. Had a crazy shoulder workout, with a 35 minute treadmill incline fast-paced walk. The sweat was crazy.

    Things to note about MM....

    • Hits very quickly
    • taste is not overwhelming
    • mixes exceptionally well
    • Energy is longer lasting than most, and there is no true crash

    Mostly. I was not nearly as sweaty. Throw into that, that I took MM today and was not sweaty at all. WTF?

  22. No adverse reactions to the MM at all. Great workout, with great energy and focus. Will update later today with my heavier chest/tri day

  23. The MM continues to impress. Another early morning workout and the energy and focus were there. As always the taste and mixability have been top notch. Very impressed this far.

  24. Nothing new to add. THe 345 wake up is greatly assisted by the MM. Workouts, while quick, are very effective and the energy is no concern whatsoever.

    The taste is still pleasant, it has not worn on me at all. Which is a big surprise

  25. Back again.....the MM has really assisted me in my early morning workouts. Even on the weekends I am up by 5 (by product of getting up so early during the week), and there is still good, smooth energy, without the crash.

    My strength is staying very stable and my weight has actually decreased

  30. you will enjoy the MM, I am becoming a big fan. Considering the hours that I keep, the MM is a great help.

    Just to put this in perspective.....I got to work at 6:45 am and didnt leave till 6pm. I get nice energy that last quite a while with MM
