Huge thanks to BPS for the opportunity to log Endosurge. It's been a little over 2 years since hitting the gym hard and yesterday marked my 3rd week back. The extra boost is needed right now. I do have to also thank my father since without his generosity I wouldn't have a gym membership again nor would I have been able to place an order with Nutra a few weeks back. No job means lots of time to train but no money for supplies.

Age: 26
Weight: 184
Height: 5'9
BF%: ? If I had to guess I'd say 14-16%.

Goals: Regain most of the strength lost due to time off and injuries. A few prior lifts for reference; Deads- sets at 405, DB Flats- sets at 120, Box Squat- sets at 315. Injuries affected my ability to squat and bench. More concerned about lower body than upper.

Supps and Dosing:

Endosurge- 2/2/2
Alphaburn- 1/1
Lean Extreme- 1/1
DAA- 3g daily. Found this while cleaning the cupboard. A welcomed surprise.
SNS Trib 750- 2/0
ALCAR- 3g daily
Rasberry Ketones- 1g pre/wo

Took first dose this morning and already notice the 'well being' aspect kicking in. Should train later today, deciding whether to go with A or B side. Box Squats or Dead lfits. My shins haven't bled for a while, I'm leaning toward deads but we'll see.

Day 1- 7/26/11

Dead lifts (work up to heavy)- 315x4, 365x4, 365x4, 385x3 Last week only felt good enough to do 365x1.
Goblet Squat- 85x5, 100x5, 100x5
Leg Extension- 90x15, 110x12, 130x12
Abductor Machine- 90x25, 90x25
2 Hand OH Raise- 80x5, 90x5,
1 Arm Lat. Raise- 40x5, 40x5
Squat to 24" Box Jump- x15, x15, x12

Treadmill- 25 min. 212 cals. 2 miles.

Didn't have box jumps scheduled but leg press was taken. All in all good workout. Had a very odd almost relaxed/sleepy feeling heading to the gym but faded to just relaxed once I got going. Attributing this to the l-dopa. Too early to comment much more, should have more to say about it in a few days when things start rolling.

Woke up feeling a little drowsy. Today I will experiment with a 2/2/2 dosing scheme to see if I can improve my quality of sleep. Taking the day off from the gym to do some things outside. Mainly footwork and ball drills but if I'm feeling up to it I'll include a few plyo exercises.

The l-dopa has a more pronounced effect when treating it more like a gh supp. Empty stomach, few carbs.

Day 2- 7/27/11

Went to the park and did some ball and footwork drills which lasted 1 hr. Legs felt heavy from the day before so I only did a few plyo moves like tuck jumps and step-ups but at least I can feel that I'm estabishing a good cardio base. Not looking forward to tomorrow. BB Triplets. Yay.

Again not too much else to note as far as Endosurge goes. Will report back on sleep tomorrow. I expect to start seeing/feeling more in a couple days. Weight was 183 this morning.

I think I'm going to stick with the 2/2/2 dosing sheme and I edited my original post to reflect that.

Last night had a nice libido boost and I woke up cranky this morning. Wake 'n' Bake, feeling better. Altering the workout schedule slightly. Practice Sunday morning and I want my legs to be fresh. Starting to notice a small increase in muscle fullness. Came quicker this time around. Will report back form the gym later on. Until then, chill.

What's a BB triplet?
Exercises can vary person to person but the format is the same.

Three BB exercises, 6 reps each, one triplet every 30 sec. for 10 min. Mine are mainly geared toward back and legs but you could use any exercises you want. Weight is kept light usually. 65-105lbs depending on exericses.

I WAS going to do them today but I'm opting to do a workout geared toward increasing running speed instead. Triplets tomorrow.

Day 3- 7/28/11

Kneeling get ups, OH lunges, OH reverse lunges, squats, shuttle jumps, and barefoot treadmill were the bulk of what I did. Was able to do 50# on the lunges and squats which I was actually happy with considering prior injuries. Going to do a few other things here at home to work out hip flexors.

Strength is coming pretty good now. Extremely happy and excited. Part of it is my strength coming back anyway but I didn't expect it this quick. Tomorrow triplets, circuit saturday, soccer sunday.

Gotcha. It's a bb complex with three movements.

Day 4- 7/29/11

Bit of a set back today. Attempted and failed BB Triplets. Simply haven't developed the muscualar endurance yet but in 3 weeks I'm not sure what I was expecting. Had to change the workout, which was garbage in my book.

Cable Rows- (warm-up) 200x6, 220x5, 250x4, 250x3
Seated DB Rows- 50x8, 50x8, 50x8
DB Shrugs- 100x12, 100x12, 80x20
Good Mornings- 95x12, 95x10
Hyperextensions- x20, x20 x20

Treadmill: 35 min. 305 cals 3 miles.

The only thing I can look at and be satisfied with is the treadmill. Could have gone at least another mile if I really wanted to. Practice got postponed til next week so that changes things slightly. Taking tomorrow off to re-tool my workouts. I have a better idea about what I need to do now. Miles run so far this week, 8. I'll get to 10 on Sunday.

Endosurge notes: I like the 2/2/2 dosing better. Sleep quality is slightly up. Libido up.

Day 5- 7/30/11

Off. Changed my girlfriends brakes and rotors with her sister's bf. Should've taken a few hours tops and took all day. The frustration required a few smoke breaks.

Day 6- 7/31/11

Going to take today off also. R knee is swollen slightly, just enough to feel it. I'll map out my workouts again since I didn't do that yesterday. Trying to get more strength training in while I'm on Endosurge. I'd rather utilize it and work on strength more than muscular endurance. Gives me a better base anyway.

Day 7- 8/1/11

DB Flats- 55x12, 65x12
Explosive Smith Bench- 155x8, 185x6, 135x8
DB Pullovers- 60x8, 70x8
Dips- 3x10

Treadmill- 30 min. 2 miles (1/2 mile no shoes) 214 cals.

Not terrible but there's a few changes to be made. Flats and pullovers, which I did before I started Endo, felt easy. Dips and Smith Press, which I haven't done in years, not so much. If I had a better base right now things would be going even better but I'm confident I'll be sitting good when it's all said and done. Won't be too many more days off unless something comes up. Weight 184.

Lateral BB raise? Interesting. I presume you do this with a smaller bb, not an olympic bar?
Right.

Day 9- 8/3/11

B.O.R. Strict, back parallel to floor- (underhand) 135x8, 155x6 (overhand) 135x8, 135x8
Standing Cable Row w/ Rope- 80x6, 100x6, 100x6 (using 3 count. left, middle, right, middle = 1) //
Standing Side Curls- 45x12, 45x12, 45x12
Pull-ups- x8
Hyperextension- 25x20, 25x20

Felt weak and sick while doing the cable rows. Couldn't focus enough energy to do pull-ups so I just finished with some hypers. Threw up on the way home and at home. Should be ok tomorrow though. Wish I had some glutamine. A lot less stomach issues. Hopefully it won't be too hot outside. Will have to make up core and a few sets of pull-ups later in the week. Recovery is up quite a bit. Not very sore from yesterday.

Well I won't be doing plyo work today, foot is acting up again a little bit. Gotta rest it for a tentative sunday practice. But good news though, had an interview today and have another one tomorrow. Today's went good, only p/t but close to home. Tomorrow is for a merchandising pos. for a beverage company. Gonna hit the gym later and do some upper body and ride the bike. Still want to get some cardio in. Feeling good again. This is how I celebrate:

Thanks man. 2 years out of work truely sucks.

Day 10- 8/4/11

DB Flats- 80x6, 100x5, 100x5, 100x5
Push-ups- 3x12
Full Moons- 25x20, 25x20, 25x20 (10 each way)
E-Z Curls- 65x10, 65x10, 65x10 //
E-Z Tri Extension- 65x10, 65x10, 65x10
Bike- 2 miles 9 min. 60 cals.
Push-ups (wide)- 2x12
Push-ups (diamond)- 2x12
Push-ups (prone)- 3x12
Push-ups- 2x12
30-40 sec rest between push-ups.

It feels like I'm close to where I was before the layoff, I can almost taste it with my nose. (Reps if you know what movie that's from) But still not quite there yet. If I get one of these jobs I may be able to swing another bottle of Endo and possibly formestane to keep this ride going. Endo has been phenomenal so far.

Day 11- 8/5/11

Did a lot of core and hip flexor work at home today. Various crunches on medicine ball, mountain climbers, knee raises, a couple sets of tuck jumps, scissors, etc. Did most with 5lb ankle weights on each leg. Gotta do this more often. Hopefully I'll have time/energy to hit plyo and skill work in the morning and hit the gym later in the day tomorrow. Noticable size gained in shoulders. Effects on sleep now are minimal but more often than not I only sleep 2-3 hours at a time, multiple times a night. 6-7 hours total usually.

Day 12- 8/6/11

Deadlifts-(work up to heavy) 315x5, 365x4, 365x4, 405x3, 425x0, 315x5
Goblet Squats- 100x5, 100x5, 100x5
DB Shrugs- 105x12, 120x12, 130x12
Arnold Press- 40x6, 55x4, 55x3, 50x5
RDL w/DB's- 40x16, 40x16, 40x16 (8 ea. side)
Lnges w/DB's- 10x20, 10x20, 15x20 (10 ea. side)
Reverse Lunges w/ DB's- 15x20, 15x20, 15x20 (10 ea. side)
Treadmill- 25 min. 1.75 miles 195 cals.

Deadlifts felt great for the most part. Weight increase of 20lbs form last time. Did too many reps at 405 to go any higher. It just felt so good pullin that **** I couldn't stop myself. Plus some ****head was doing BB lateral raises in the ****ing squat rack with 1-5lb plate on each side!! Had to show the kids how men workout. The deads took a lot out of me so cardio wasn't fun. Lunges and RDL's were hittin good, knees held up great. Overall very satisfied.

Most, if not all, lower body lifts are back up to pre-injury/layoff levels. Upper is coming along good also. I doubt strength would be coming back this quick without Endosurge. Nettle and I get along quite well.

Day 13- 8/7/11

Had a decent first practice with some of the team. Did some warm-ups and played an hour's worth of 4 v 4. Damn good workout. Shirt was soaked but that's par for the course w/ Alphaburn and Ketones. Still have to strengthen certain muscles but old injuries weren't an issue and didn't get any new ones. Endurance wasn't the greatest but held up fine in the shortened field. Happy with that. Going to be taking it easy the rest of the day, still sore from yesterday. Will hit the gym tomorrow and give a 14 day review of the whole stack.

Drives me nuts when people are doing stuff in the squat rack that is not meant to be done in it. Great to strength is coming back.
Had to wait 30min on Sat for a guy doing OH Press and curls in the squat rack. With 5lb to a side on the bar. While a premade, 55lb barbell sat about 10ft away. Yeah...

Day 12- 8/8/11

Slept like garbage the night before and just couldn't get going. Bad news on the job front also made maintaining any focus difficult.

Day 13- 8/9/11

B.O.R.- 135x6, 155x5, 155x5, 135x8, Underhand; 135x8, 135x8
DB Swings- 60x10, 75x10, 45x5-1
Seated Rows- 50x10, 50x10, 50x10
Standing Side Curls- 45x12, 45x12, 45x12 //
Trunk Rotations- 45x20, 45x20, 45x20
Treadmill- 23 min. 1.5 miles 163 cals.

Lack of sleep is catching up to me. Extremely hard to stay focused/motivated right now.

Hang in there man - and get some rest!
Musashi's Way of Walking Alone has helped me out immensely in hard times;

1. Do not turn your back on the various Ways of this world.

2. Do not scheme for physical pleasure.

3. Do not intend to rely on anything.

4. Consider yourself lightly; consider the world deeply.

5. Do not ever think in acquisitive terms.

6. Do not regret things about your own personal life.

7. Do not envy another’s good or evil.

8. Do not lament parting on any road whatsoever.

9. Do not complain or feel bitterly about yourself or others.

10. Have no heart for approaching the path of love.

11. Do not have preferences.

12. Do not harbor hopes for your own personal home.

13. Do not have a liking for delicious food for yourself.

14. Do not carry antiques handed down from generation to generation.

15. Do not fast so that it affects you physically.

16. While it’s different with military equipment, do not be fond of material things.

17. While on the Way, do not begrudge death.

18. Do not be intent on possessing valuables or a fief in old age.

19. Respect the Buddhas and the Shinto gods, but do not depend on them.

20. Though you give up your life, do not give up your honor.

21. Never depart from the Way of the Martial Arts.

Day 14- 8/10/11

Single Leg Box Squat- BWx8, BWx8, 20x5, BWx8
Kneeling get-ups- 3x12 // OHS- 45x10x3
Squat to 24" Box Jump to Step-off Squat- 3x10
Lunges- 15x10, 15x10, 15x10
Step-ups- 15x10, 15x10
Step-ups to RDL- 15x10, 15x10
Leg Press- 8 plates x 6, 10 plates x 5, 10 plates x 5

Treadmill- 22min. 1.65 miles 184 cals.

Re-worked my workouts again. Weight is 188 and that's a bit high for my liking so I only did one 'strength' exercise today and focused on plyo and auxillery work. Left my notebook at home so I had to wing it for parts of the workout but really glad I through in single leg squats. Should help my speed quite a bit. I'll time my 40 again next week to see how much it's improved if any. Was in the 4.8 range at last check months ago. My body reacts quick to new exercises.

Good philosophy in Musashi's list, if you're intent on "walking alone." I've always admired many aspects of Buddhism.
Emotional detatchment and intent are ones the world could benefit from right now.

I practice the teachings of the Buddha, not Buddhism.

Day 15- 8/11/11

DB Incline Press- 60x7, 60x7, 60x7
DB Flats- 60x12, 60x12, 60x10
Push-ups (wide)- 2x12
Push-ups (prone)- 2x12
Push-ups (Reg.)- 2x12
Push-ups (clap)- 2x8
Hammer to Press- 35x10, 35x10, 35x10
Full Moons- 35x16, 25x20, 25x20
Treadmill-20 min. 1.75 miles 190 cals .5% incline

Happy with the workout. New routine is working out great. Treadmill felt pretty easy, the hardest part is keeping my mind occupied. I get bored at times. Didn't fuel myself properly so I didn't go real heavy on the Inclines. Not sure what I have planned the next few days. Maybe rounds outside tomorrow and back/core Saturday. Practice Sunday, legs can't be sore like last time, that sucked.

Thanks. No vivid dreams. Deep sleep is an elusive bastard.

I'm due for a mental holiday soon, a quarter of trainwreck or silver haze will do the trick. After that I should be able to get my mind right at bedtime. Too bad there's no money for that. I can fall asleep, just can't stay asleep.

Day 16- 8/12/11

B.O.R.- 135x6, 155x5, 185x5
Seated DB Rows- 50x10, 50x10, 50x10
Power Cleans- 135x5, 145x5, 145x5
DB Swings- 45x(5-1), 70x4, 70x4
Pull-ups- 3x10
Hypers- 25x10, 35x10, BWx15
Treadmill- 12 min. 1 mile 105 cals. // Run around the block. Approx. 1 mile.

Decent workout. I play soccer so back workouts aren't exactly as intense as leg days. Weight is up quite a bit, 187-189 as opposed to 183-184. Stomach has tightened up a small amount in the past few days so any weight gain I imagine is lean mass even though diet isn't exactly where I want it to be. Unemployed so it's basicly whatever is on sale or what I can afford to eat in a day but in the end I still have food so I can't complain.

Day 17- 8/13/11

Various hurdle drills w/ 5 yard sprints. Probably did around 15-20 rounds.
Single Leg Box Squat- BWx6, 60x5, 60x5, BWx8
Treadmill- 15 min. 1.25 miles 143 cals.

Plyo movements have been a great addition to the routine. Less than a week and I'm already feeling the benefits. Will be practicing on turf tomorrow which I don't like but at least it'll be a good surface.

Endosurge has had a huge impact on strength and mood. Will be my go to natty supp from now on. Next time I'd drop the DAA and add in formestane.

No problem. The $30 price tag makes this more than worth it. Activate Extreme gave me some good times but this surpasses it.

Yea, label dose is plenty with this.

Day 18- 8/14/11

Had another not so good turn out numbers wise but there was another group at the complex we played 5v5 with. Getting my touch back. Notched a few assists and a goal but still need to get more comfortable on the ball.

Day 19 and 20- 8/15-8/16

Lower body wasn't happy playing on turf and was pretty sore. Been feeling beat the **** up lately. More modifications to the workouts.

Day 21- 8/17/11

Deadlifts- 315x5, 315x5, 285x5, 225x8 //
24" Box Jumps (x10)
Goblet Squat- 110x5, 110x5, 110x5 //
Kneeling get ups- (x5)
DB Shrugs- 85x20, 85x20, 95x20
Single Leg Squats- BWx6, BWx6, BWx6 //
Lunges- (x10)
Leg Press- 180x50
Treadmill- 1 mile 109 cals. 13 min. Did most with 5lb ankle weights on and at an incline of 5%.

Felt it after the first 2 exercises. Been a while since I've done a superset/circuit with deadlifts. Quads are getting tired easy so I'll be hitting leg extensions later in the week. Stayed away due to injury but it's time to get back at it. Weight holding steady at 187. Up 3-4 pounds.
