Ecdysterone has been the subject of much debate and controversy in it's 15 year exhistance. Many ecdysterone products have come and gone with mixed results. There is one thing that is proven though, when given to animals and even people in the right way, ecdysterone increases strength, size and muscle.
The Ecdysterone Scandal!
Most ecdysterone doesn't work. Quality is the reason! Ron Kramer first brought this to my attention and it was pretty amazing once I dug into it. Real, good quality ecdysterone is hard to come by and very expensive and I know enough now to use the good stuff.
The Chinese like to play games with testing protocols. They sell Ecdysterone 90% UV tested and pass it off as a quality product. Unfortunately UV testing is very crude and could be giving you only 10-20% of the active ingredient. What you really need is Ecdysterone 80-90% HPLC. HPLC is a testing method that actually tests for the single ecdysterone ingredient.
So, since most people are using the UV tested crap, taking even a gram of ecdysterone isn't going to do you any good.
What Kind Of Gains Can I Expect From Sub Sterone?
Well to be 100% honest, that depends on how you eat and your age. For younger guys, it seems to have a greater effect.For us older guys, it seems to help lean us out and increase strength. You need to make sure you have a high protein intake with this product either way, since it helps to increase protein synthesis.
Sub Sterone stacks great with prosteriods, anabolic steroids and prohormones because it helps increase the activity of steroid molecules by speeding up messenger RNA. This is the stuff that tells muscles to build more protein, so you want to stack it with androgens like our Methyl 1-D or at least a very good test booster like our Formadrol (plug) or a natural anabolic like our Natadrol.
Sub Sterone will make you denser than ever before. It will increase strength and should help you pack on the size (especially if you are under 25).
What else is in it?
Two cofactors that should really help push the product forward were in the test product and seemed to prove out!
Chlorogenic Acid is a cofactor that will help stimulate the calcineurin pathway, which works in conjunction with ecdysterone to build muscle without being androgenic.
6-Keto-Diosgenin is another type of ecdysterone derivitive that has been shown in both anecdotal and Russian research to help build mass and size. It's a quality ingredient that should really help the ecdysterone density!
What I'm Doing
I will be continuing everything else as normal. I eat paleo style so I don't count calories or macros. I get 6-8oz of cooked meat 3-4x a day along with one whey protein shake. I also eat about 12-16 servings of veggies and 1-2 servings of fruit a day. The only thing that will be changing is the inclusion of one more whey protein shake and another serving of BCAA around workout time.
My workout will generally be as follows:
Day 1 - Max effort Olympic lift - either snatch or clean and jerk; a pushing exercise if I do snatch, a pulling if I do c&j; some squat variation - overhead, goblet, front, back. This will all be followed by a 10-30 minute conditioning workout and stretching.
Day 2 - 30 min conditioning workout; kettlebell technique work will follow or precede, depending on the conditioning workout, which will include windmills, cleans, bottoms up presses, get ups.
Day 3 - Max effort lower body - deadlift or squat variation; muscle/power snatches or cleans; push press variation, pullup variation, bodyweight row, etc. 10-30 min conditioning workout.
Day 4 - Kettlebell recovery - Coyote Point Park workout with Dan John and company. Little bit of this little bit of that. More mobility and movement than strength work.
Day 5 - Max effort upper body - lately I've been focusing on overhead pressing and I think this will continue - either some sort of strict press or push press, maybe some behind the head variation; power clean or snatch; explosive squat variation. 10-30 minute conditioning workout.
Day 6 - Active recovery - some light conditioning at a moderate pace; mobility work; kettlebell technique work.
Day 7 - Rest
Bottle has directions for 6 sprays before a workout and 6 sprays before bedtime. I will also be dosing 6 sprays at two other times a day. I work out in the morning so my second dose will probably be around 1 pm and then again at 6pm.

Took my first dose this morning. Tasted a little bit like sprite with an alcoholic aftertaste. Wasn't bad at all. I brushed my teeth and tongue beforehand because I've heard that helps with sublingual products. No effects to report yet, nothing immediate. Will dose again before bed.

I just started using this too. I noticed you're taking two servings of Sub Sterone per day. Not to thread jack, but I'm actually under the impression that users are supposed to take 4 servings of this daily. I know what the label says, but in another thread (LG Sub Ecdysterone Product - PreOrder Only 275 Bottles!) this was posted:
Maybe someone could chime in and eliminate the confusion.

Anything else you guys want to see reported on? Muscle hardness, vascularity, strength, libido is what I've got in mind so far.
And I know I have a big butt, helps with my o lifts and other hip dominant exercises. The girls like it too.

Haven't "felt" any different yet but I think I am starting to look a little leaner. Nothing major to report, I've been a little sick and its my deload week so next week will be a little more indicative. I will be measuring on Saturday and I'll update based on that.
Keep in mind, I am technically on a calorie deficit for this so I'm expecting to recomp.
